Amazing work. Love to see  the shinies in the party and the new egg designs. The egg designs are something that most people won't appreciate either because they don't breed much or have very limited interaction with them. But, I for one really really appreciate that. God's work that is.

Also I have a supreme VIP everything included First class ticket on the HYPE TRAIN. Full speed ahead.

That was an amazing touch and, if you think about it, completely on spot! Why? Let's go waaaaaaaaay back to the beginning of the game, inside Reborn Central area: 

There is a NPC there telling us how Reborn has a higher rate of shinies and some speculate that is due to the toxicity, radiation, or something like that. 

Well, stuff like that usually leave marks on the body and alter their appearance, so why not alter the eggs as well? See, totally makes sense!

And I thought the spriting I've done took a lot of time. Icons are small on their own, but this is an amazing amount of work and a level of passion for a project that I've seen almost nowhere else.

Hmmm... I dunno about either of those. Like you said, it doesn't match any of the Gen VIII eggs in Rejuv's folders, so unless those are getting different designs from the ones Rejuv is using, probably not. And all the alternate forme eggs (such as the eggs for Kantonian/Alolan/Galarian Meowth) are all just palate-swaps of each other, so we'd probably still be able to recognize it if it was a new regional variant.

So that means... I don't know what that means. Maybe... Maybe they're including Fakemon from other fangames? And that egg is for, like, a Duplicat or something? I mean, that's probably not what it is, given how much Ame has stressed "canon compliance" in the past, but I really can't think of anything that makes sense.

So I can safely say the last egg is NOT gen 8 because cass said smeargletail made 807 sprites which is exactly the number of Pokemon introduced until gen 7(not counting meltan and melemetal) 

Either it's some new regional variant(which isn't too unlikely)

Or one of the egg sprites have been updated

Yeah, it's probably just the egg sprites being updated. The last one is probably a Nincada egg. If you look at the current Nincada egg, it's just plain white with that same jagged line at the top - pretty difficult to tell what it is just by looking at it. If it is indeed a redesigned Nincada egg, it would be much more distinctive.

Okay this one's actually badass.  Such a small, unnecessary detail but SmeargleTail decided to put in the work to make it a reality anyway.  Stuff like this is why I like the game despite some of the grievances I mentioned having in the previous thread.

Edit: never mind, I just found out what andracass said about me in other threads.  That’s unacceptable.  I've been part of this community for almost a decade now, and yet when I write like a paragraph of mild criticism, I get that kind of treatment?

I think I rng failed me once, giving a low SPa but 2nd one was good enough for me (+26 in every important stat). Beldum was full nightmare. 1 batch of eggs took 10min to hatch.

i really need to ask what you think you've done to deserve the goodwill that you seem to think you're entitled to. that's a genuine question, because i'm really trying to wrap my head around what positive contribution you've made with literally anything in your post history. i don't think you can label anything as "mild criticism" when you can't go a single page without taking some shitty snipe at the story, or self-aggrandizingly mentioning your "helpful feedback". 

i'm stretching myself to give you the benefit of the doubt, so i'm just gonna remind you that it is, in fact, mentioned in the announcement post that the new character goes by they/them pronouns. acquaint yourself with that, please.

i don't know how much reddit gold you must be swimming in to have developed this perspective that you're some kind of objective arbiter of what's good and bad - what does/doesn't work in media, but i promise you that you're not as enlightened as you seem to think you are. 

nothing is immune to or above criticism - but when it's damn near all you have to contribute to any topic relating to the game that you jam yourself into, constantly beating the same dead horse like it's gonna make everyone suddenly see that you are Correct, actually and that your takes are only Factual and Logical just makes it incredibly difficult to find any actual value in the things you have to say.
