why are there swastikas on the wall in the first image. anyway i think the top image is the jungle from the jasper ward but it sort of resembles the beryl library, as for the second image its probably the beryl ward forest or it could be a whole new area idk. 

That huge tree looks amazing!!!

My guess is that scene is a redux for the Beryl or Rhodochrine Tangrowth fight.

Fr this looks absolutely gorgeous, props to everyone that designed and built all this.

I think so, it seems it will be pain to clean up though.

Looks like there is another puzzle here. See those curly roots in the middle? They are suspiciously placed near stairs to other parts of the map. Interesting.

Well my guess on the first pic is us meeting Raka for the first time at Malcious  Forest and the second must be the jungle; given that huge tree and the surroundings

Kinda hope they either remake (or scrap) the scene with the uncomfortable edgy tribute to someone's real-life suicide that Fern then mocks, or that it's already been remade in episode 18 and I just missed it while waiting for episode 19.

As someone following this project for the past.... 6 years now, I think? It's incredible how much you guys progress as developers with each passing year. If this is meant to be a remaster of the PULSE tangrowth fights, I'm all for it - it looks incredible

Is it unfair to expect more sprite reworks for the coming update? I think a few trainer sprites (Cain, Victoria and maybe the male players characters) could do with a little touch-up to bring them to 2021 . If not, that's a-okay!

Looks like reborn is getting huge updates too, its been great seeing the developers grow in their craft the past what, 7 years now? Don't even remember, but I'm all for revamps and updated graphics can't wait to see what else the team has done

This could indeed be a redesign of Malchous Forest! Also, the first thing that came to my mind by looking at the screenshots was that we're gonna have a Reborn version of Great Deku Tree with a fight against PULSE-Tangrowth inside. A reference to Ocarina of Time perhaps?

as someone who grew up with this game (played it first when i was like what, 14? 18 now.) for better or for worse (jk lul), seeing these updates makes me surprisingly emotional
