To be fair, it has been proven that when in front of a choice like that, with limited information and no other factors, people tend to choose the middle option, instead of extremes. This fact was pointed out for example in Squid Game in one of the games, when the participants had to choose the numbers from 1 to 10, not knowing what's awaiting them.

Also this is the reason why the blue team was the most popular during the Pokemon Go popularity: Articuno was in the middle (and in addition to it, it was blue, what also is considered the safest pick among red and yellow*). First of all, sorry for the bad joke about waifus (I saw ppl giving 'sad' reactions and I actually got sad too (looks like I went on a cringy way)), so I'm sorry.

Anyway, I actually think they are, probably, 3 options of end game content (perhaps some major character ark conclusion or how to fight a legendary) Ame wants us to choose unbiased, giving us the feeling of "the community played a part at the game itself"

this is definitely one of those 'choose-wisely-or-lmao' moments im scared

in all seriousness, i think this is one of those moments when team meteor has us on the back pedal (like HOW) and every choice leads to doom, and we have to figure out which choice lead to less doom omg
