I'm thinkin spicy legendary sidequest of some form? then again I would've thought like darkrai or hoopa but according to the progress bars (which never lie right?) they've not been started and of the completed ones not sure it would fit so maybe not hmmmmmmmmmm (surprisingly, hoopa is not a geenie in this context)

The pillars remind me of the Labradorra Tournament of B00Ty screenshots. I don't know why.

Probably connected to Labradorra City, then, my bet's on the gym.

Nope. Gen 8 won't be even touched. If you like 8th gen, the upcoming rejuvenation episode, is going to have part of it. Like, Galarian forms, all the new pokemon and the most important, plus fitting to its already existing content, novelties. Watch pokemon Rejuvenation and if you like, start playing it! If it is the Sapphira's gym, then really nice touch with the gold coins, since the Dragon's Den field effect states that Pat Day effect is boosted on this field!

I'm not sure what that screenshot could possibly be (maybe Saphira's gym?), but the area looks really cool!

Hmm...Saphira herself. Puzzle of the gym involves working out how to unlock the box so you can actually fight the gym leader. Perhaps requiring that you clear away the piles of gold. Presumably without just taking it all.
