"Protagonist can talk" for Pokemon Desolation. After Chad's Eevee, who evolved into Flareon, defeated Ambipom owned by the ghost that looks like Shiv (or so I think), it dissapeared and Chad moved forward. Then, for the first time, that's how he met Aipom :

Chad : What in the world is Aipom doing here?

Why it's alone here in this cave?

 

Chad comes near Aipom.

 

Chad : Hey, little buddy. Do you have family?

Aipom : Ai! Aipom! Aipom!

 

Aipom charges at Chad with enjoyment.

 

Chad : Oh! Hahahahahaha! You're tickling me!

Aipom : Aipom! Aipom!

 

Aipom moves out and wants to show all 4 moves.

It uses Fake Out at first, then Agility.

But at the moment, it used Rock Blast and Bullet Seed which it throws always 5 times in a row.

 

Chad : Wow. You're not just an ordinary Pokemon. You can do the impossibility.

Having used first Rock Blast and then Bullet Seed 5 times in a row, that really makes your ability be Skill Link.

Aipom : Aipom! Aipom! Aipom!

Chad : So you want to come with me.

Come in!

 

Chad throws a Pokeball to Aipom.

 

Aipom : Aipom!!!

 

Aipom jumps and enters inside the Pokeball, being caught easily.

 

Chad : That's good to have you here!

 

Chad releases Aipom.

Chad : By quite the chance, you look just like another Aipom owned by Shiv.

 

Mentioning another Aipom causes this Aipom to be annoyed.

Ari : I use only team of many powerful Pokemons but...

Ari : Basically, I wanted to have Class Cannon team. But Vero took this style.

And yet, in worst case, the damage they take can be fatal.

Gardevoir : Oh! I see you're having issues with defenses.

Ari : I wanted to try Stone Wall team but they weren't useful.

Somehow, Alice knows better how to stall an entire team.

But my Pokemons aren't really good at using better strategy at stalling.

Gardevoir : That considers as a harsh reality! 

Ari : When I mega evolved my Blastoise, that's why I realized my mistake.

Relying on Pokemon's speed is what that gets me the worst.

Gardevoir : And then you created a team capable of power and shield who are really useless only to speed.

Ari : That's why I call this : Mighty Glacier team! Powerful but slow!

Gardevoir : Mighty Glacier team?! That's really something!

The way to make the team very strong! To be honest, I'm impressed on that, too!

Ari : Thank you!

*CLINK*

Gardevoir : What was that?!

Ari : I see someone who's making all that noises! Hey, get back here!

Sharpedo looks upset at its own hopelessness at learning Fishious Rend.

Vero : Don't worry. You stay behind me. I'll take care of them in order to have your opportunity to save 5 officers.

Once you save every officers, I'll will take the chance to strike back against Taka and ZEL, while you and the officers must stay somewhere for ambush.

She's the reason that caused trauma on him.

Alice : Understood.

 

Alice tried to find everywhere but without success until in Water Treatment Center (where Taka asked if Vero wanted to battle him or not).

I understand. I'm not alone. Everyone feels the same guilt they had but they move on like nothing happened.

I'll never forgive Lin for killing Ame. And also for Arclight's eye.

I swear. I must have 18 badges to rival Lin's Pokemons. She doesn't deserve to steal them like that.

Alice : I'll never forgive her, too. She made you cry. That's it!

Victoria : Vero, you're back! What took you so long?!

Cain : Seriously! I mean...

Vero : Long story but we're have enemies to deal with.

Solaris : Focus on Victoria, instead of talking in this situation.

Vero : Payback time!

Solaris : Tsk! I forgot that with six Pokemon by Vero's side, my powerful Garchomp is in effect of Perish Song!

No matter what happens, I'm going to lose.

 

Vero and Solaris fought for a while, leading to Garchomp faint due to the Perish Song effect, making Vero victorious.

 

Vero : Checkmate, Solaris!

Solaris : So that's how it is.

Victoria : Amazing! I knew he would beat you!

Cain : Wow! Looks like I taught an important lesson! It doesn't need stength to defeat the opponent, but strategy!
