[IC] Trespassers of the Multiverse: Director's Cut

With another shout of "Class Change!" , Gwyn shifts forms once again. This time, they emerge nearly twice as tall. But wait, that's not only them - Gwyn is now astride a massive horse large enough for their impressive stature. Their armor has become rather sleek and round, much smaller than the bulky Defender class'.

They easily match pace with Mirri and extend a hand to her. "Get on. I can move much faster than you now."

Mirri vaults to the back of the horse with little difficulty.  Through Jedi techniques, a trick, 'Force Leap (level 1)', has been developed.  While equipped or out of combat, the user can jump [synergy] feet higher and farther than usual.  Once there, she focuses on scanning for civilians or other things of note with her eyes and helmet sensors.

"Well, he managed to singlehandedly unite every single Asian Gang in the city under a single banner, Though whether that speaks to his cleverness or his brutality is something I don't know."

"Anyone who wishes to get to the warehouse, follow me."

Somatotrope says, walking calmly over to the side.

There was more that Satomi wanted to say to Arminius (the thing that bothered her the most was his lack of hesitation, and his condescension towards the thought of anyone wanting to help; it spoke to a lack of a sense of Duty, and while these gaijin may not follow Bushido Satomi couldn't help but think that to be a general moral thing anyway), but the situation wasn't a situation that would allow her to stand around and talk anymore. Now that she had a chance to really help out... "I'm coming! I'm an engineer primarily, so I should be able to help keep things more stable even if this architecture is very strange to me!" She began to run after Mirri, not hesitating to really beat feet, but she did call one last thing over shoulder: "I hope you all at least have the Duty and Courage to help with this task, if nothing else!"

Satomi joins team Gestation Interruption.

"Hm... My powers will not be of much use in the flames. However, I should be able to provide support from long range" Proditor stated, beginning to float upwards towards the rooftops, "If I spot anything out of the ordinary, aside from what we are expecting, I shall make sure to contact one of you" he added.

Proditor joins the Gestation Interruption, but stays far as fuck away from that fire!

Harry followed the group towards the pillar of flame. It would be an act of utter stupidity to let the team going to fight a man they had been told they could not beat escape without a medic. He did remember to call out to the native of this world, asking, "Somatatrope! Directions to the warehouse? In case we survive?" Though Harry wasn't offered a seat on the armored giant, he didn't need one. He wouldn't be in a combat role in this situation, and while he should probably run in order to take care of any civilians who might need it, others needed speed far more to engage the enemy. Harry jogs after the others heading to the pillars of fire.

Harry joins Team Gestation Interruption, looking out on either side as he jogs along for people in need (not limited to medical, just generally in need of assistance).

The ambassador suddenly appears behind Mirri and the rest of the group that was preparing to head towards the fire. "It would be quite hypocritical of me if I didn't even try to help out with this".

Jun joins team gestation interruption (that is an ominous name), and he turns on his cloaking device to try and find anyone in need of help without being spotted as well.

Frigus begins following the others towards the fire and as he does so throws his Keyblade into the air above him, he follows up by slamming his fist into the circle on his shoulder activating his armor.  Two flashes of light later and Frigus reappears wearing white plate armor and riding atop a strange craft made of floating struts to match his armor.

The thing rapidly accelerates toward either Satomi or Kusuke(who ever didn't get a ride from Gwyn) and Frigus offers them a ride before speeding off towards the fires(keeping pace with Gwyn).

Team G.I

--

The group rushes towards the Madness Ensuing nearby, discovering a shirtless masked man and several panicking gangsters.

The Man is the one responsible for the fire, which he is flinging outward to kill off as many of the bugs as possible.

The bugs are attacking the Gangsters and the Man, and effectively as well, as several of them are poisonous ones, such as Wasps and Spiders.

A few buildings have been struck by flames, but nothing has caught fire yet, much to the relief of everyone trying to get out of their homes.

The swarm of bugs isn't sure what to do about the Party.

(mend) (level 2) Mending breath:  the user heals three targets for SYN healing. [exhaustion 2]

(rending explosion) (level 2) breath of annihilation: the user chooses up to three targets. Dealing (1d4+SYN)/number of targets pure damage  [exhaustion 3]

(perk backed) Familiar union: Lilly and Ador fuse pooling their stats, HP, and actions. Along with altering or replacing some of their actions. Or if they are already fused, they split. It takes a turn to preform either action and this move may not be used in quick succession, requiring 4 turns of cooldown. When splitting, hp is divided between them as equally as possible.   [exhaustion 2]

-Passives

-Trumps
(perk backed) Voice of heart: lilly attempts communicates with a target entity, and get it to do something, such as flee, turn sides, or make a deal. This works on humans, animals, and monsters alike. Though animals and animalistic creatures are easier to manage, due to their simper desires. The success of this action is based on GM discrission and is usually resolved through roleplay. This action may take multiple turns and Lilly may be subject to penalties while using it. The user's Essence Stat is used to help determine this skill's effectiveness. Once per battle.

Equipment:

Crystal tipped spear: a smooth wooden spear tipped with a shed shimmering crystal. It does not take up an action slot, and deals SYN damage when used. The use of this weapon does not cause exhaustion.

The union of Lilly and Ador are looking around, trying to see if any civies need help escaping. They attempt to establish telepathy with the people in the buildings.
"Hello, can you hear us? You all need to get out of here, its not safe. Does anyone need help?"

Team G.I.

Frigus lands his Glider and after dropping off whoever was riding with him it dissolves into motes of light and icy mist.

He begins running toward the nearest building and after cast some wards on it to slow the spread of fire he tries to help the civilians evacuate.

Frigus uses Barrier on Building A on his first turn, reducing incoming damage by 50%.

Then he attempts to help people evacuate the building(check of some sort?).

"So do you know anything about the gangs in the area beyond their... gimmicks? You know, obvious signs of their territory, common loadouts... anything to look out for if you're sneaking into one of their operations?"

Arminius asks conversationally as he follows Soma.

Proditor eventually reaches the top of one of the rooftops, scanning the area around him. The rest of the party was already moving in to help the civilians, but there was a man who was still flinging fire in an attempt to rid himself of the pests bitting him. That was the person Proditor needed to target, as he was the main problem. With that, Proditor's helm opened up once more, his four arms rising from underneath his robes, almost touching his helm as he focused his power onto the masked man.

Proditor uses Mind Fray on the Masked Man, trying to make him FEAR THE BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Spoiler

Actions:
-Actives

Psionic Control: Ethereals can take over the minds of weaker opponents, using them for their own use. Targets one enemy and forces a check that uses Proditor’s Intelligence vs the target’s Essence. If Proditor wins, the enemy falls under his control for 4 turns, but has to sacrifice his actions to control the target. If he fails, nothing happens. 6 turn cooldown.

Psi Lance: A bolt of pure psionic energy that Proditor fires from his mind at a single target, dealing 2d6+Syn damage.

Mind Fray: Proditor infects the mind of an opponent, forcing a check against Proditor’s Intelligence vs the target’s Essence. If Proditor wins, the enemy takes [INT]/2 points of damage, and their Essence lowers by 1 point for every 4 Intelligence Proditor has.

-Passives

Growing Knowledge: Proditor has learned a great many things from previous wars, making him a quick learner on the battlefield. After the 8th turn of combat, Proditor gains 1/4 of his Intelligence for the rest of the battle.

-Trumps

Rift: Proditor unleashes his full Psionic might, creating a large rift in the air that promptly explodes. Up to four enemies can be targeted by this ability, and when they do, they must make a check against Proditors INT*1.5 vs their Essence. If they do not succeed, they take 3d8+INT damage each. Those that succeed the check take half damage. Once per encounter.

When Satomi came onto the scene of the fire with everyone else, she immediately noted a couple of things, her thoughts analytical as she took stock of the situation and the damage in the area. First of all: the one responsible for the fire and those she presumed to be said man's henchmen seemed to be wholly occupied: the gangsters with running away like cowards (though that was good for them), and the fiery man with being attacked by bugs, much like everyone else. Secondly, she noted that there was not actually very much damage from the battle; she had expected flaming buildings, but Satomi could see that those that were damaged were barely even singed! These two facts together meant that the situation was not the apocalypse the man with the goblin had clearly expected, and that for now the situation would be under control. It also highlighted the utter lack of Duty of the two who had chosen to run away.

But no matter that, Satomi did have repair work to do, even if it was rather minimal. With the state these houses were in, repair would more or less simply consist of preventing the houses from catching fire due to an ember in their scorching or something like that; it would be as easy as scraping off any embers she found on the walls with the blunt side of her wakizashi, even with the bizarre architecture of the houses here in Earth Bet. And Satomi could do that quite quickly; she had had to do maintenance back in dojo at Shiro Kaiu, after all.

Satomi uses Structural Repair on Building C!
