[IC] TotMV:G^2: Clash of Fate: The War Room (Social/Prep Phase)

Chevaleresse

Recommended Posts

Morgan uses "Soul Mend" on himself, Jade, and Kino restoring Syn*2(18) HP each and dealing 15 pure damage to himself in the process.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friedhold turns just in time to see several skeletons jump into the large crackpot and dissolved into a thin slurry.  So that's what they were doing.  So he charged a blast of force and with it sent as many skeletons flying into the crackpot as possible.
Friedhold uses "Sonic Boom" to try and fling as many skeletons as he can into the crackpot, knocking them prone in the process, and damaging them slightly (8 sonic damage), cost 2 Eve(6/20).
Spoiler
Sonic Boom: Send a shockwave of compressed air at your enemies throwing them back.
Targets within melee range are thrown back violently, knocked prone, and dealt [Int] sonic damage, effects up to 10 small targets, 5 medium targets, or 1 large target, costs 2 Eve.
Prone enemies lose defensive bonuses from abilities like "basic defense", and lose dodge bonuses(at GM's discretion) until their next turn, abilities with multi-turn activation are also interrupted.
Magna Sigyl (33/39 HP)
Magna had taken a step back amidst the fighting to survey the battlefield. Her allies were still fighting against the horde of skeletons, which was truly a sight to behold. But one thing seemed to bother her. "Funny... no matter how many we take down, the number of them don't seem to be decreasing." With this many skeletons being flung about, as she wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't missing... an... arm... herself...
Magna scrambled around the field, as she desperately tried to find an arm for herself. Eyeing an ideal candidate, Magna went to rip off its arm for herself.
Reave [1d10 + INT(8)] Dragon Tooth Warrior A. Also, take his arm.
---------------------
Soryn Eclaire (51/60 HP)
Soryn stared idly at the horde with disgust. Someone of his stature shouldn't have to bother with common footsoldiers. But he had let his arrogant nature precede him. He had no knowledge of his whereabouts. His surroundings differed greatly from what he was familiar with. Perhaps he was in a different world entirely...?
Preposterous. He would worry about that at a later time.
"Absolutely no blood to work with," he spat. "I simply detest the undead..."
The Blood Well is being filled! (17/72)
Soryn casts Hemosphere on himself, consuming 25% of current health to create a barrier [1.25(25% of current health (13))] of 17 health around him!
Upon breaking, Hemosphere will deal [Original Barrier Health (17)/1.5] a total of 12 damage to the attacker!
Venus
Venus was satisfied with the work of art he had made, having eliminated almost single-handedly an entire group or archers with his work. The inspiring idea of using yet another of his flowers enticed him for a moment, before he percieved the distinct attack pattern of which the horde was assaulting the group. He wouldn't be surprised if they were attacking enemies based on their overall hazard to the horde, and having had his near death experience earlier, he certainly wasn't going to take the risk once again, and decided to act at a distance.
Venus fires his third attack with At An Arm's Length towards Dragon Tooth Warrior A (heals for 4 + B, chance to crit (INT/2). Quaternary Art bonus damage = 12, total damage: 2d4 + SYN(10) + 12).
Kino
Although her sister had fallen easily in battle, Kino knew that she had to contribute as much to the team as she could, even if she generally worked much better with her sister's presence than without. Comforting her sister as Enma continues to rest within Kino's vessel, Kino continues her assault alone on the horde.
Kino attacks Dragon Tooth Warrior A with a basic Attack. (2d4 damage, chance to crit (INT/2), applies Last Rites, healing Kino for 4 + INT/2 health. If Kino kills with this Basic Attack, heal her equal to the total damage dealt instead.)
Lexiel summons two more goblins. Her aura heals Hayle, Kino, and Jade for 3 HP.
Samantha attacks the beasts for [18] damage; she telekinetically bludgeons one to bits. She takes 9 damage as backlash.
Gozer safeguards the goblins! They have a total of 25 res currently.
Dackly petrifies some of the mist! The portion nearest the party turns into a sort of aerogel and drops to the ground in one lump.
Laver shanks Samantha in the back for [-12] damage!
Solomon abuses more books to cause [11] damage to the horde of warriors.
Atton does some ill-advised shouting, removing a stack of bleed from Samantha and Hiroki and being physically tossed by his face several feet backward by Hiroki for his trouble.
Bridgett blasts the archers for [42] damage! None of them become her friends, though one of them turns to ash.
Edmond welds the archers for [24] damage! Another is blasted apart by the arc. The next hit will deal [30] more damage.
Lambda boosts her next hit by [8] damage.
Aurora fully heals herself and Samantha, and seals half of the remaining wounds on each.
Tama Vajra continues to contribute to the large amount of electricity being tossed about, dealing [27] damage to the archers and blowing another apart.
Leon uses his Nightmare Slasher on the second group of warriors for [35] damage, cutting one of them apart.
Halley shoots the non-senatorial skeletons for [10] damage.
Wyvis strikes at the beasts for [15] damage.
Melina transfers 20 of her health to Hayle.
Morgan heals himself, Jade, and Kino for 18 HP. The backlash deals 15 damage.
Friedhold uses his Sonic Boom to fling [1] skeleton into the crackpot.
Magna takes the only functioning part off of the first Dragon Tooth Warrior, destroying it. She'd find that her new arm didn't quite want to do what she told it to and was also a good foot longer than the other.
Soryn creates a somewhat disturbing shield made of his own blood to protect himself.
Venus shoots the air where the first warrior used to be.
Kino slashes at the air.
Nessie continues to charge her seiba beamu.
Jade shoots out the knees of the second group of warriors for [5] damage, impeding their ability to strike their foes in melee.
Victoria fires at the archers for [14] damage, shooting one of them in half.
Ritsu chainsaws a beast apart for [13] damage.
Prei attacks, and her spears strike with her, for [7], [0], [0], and [0] damage.
Kagari sings.
LOTUS targets the weak points of the beasts for his team.
Navin strikes repeatedly again for [100] total damage! Four of the beasts are shattered instantly.
Empi places a counter-curse on Mitsurugi.
Sachi defends.
Mitsurugi unleashes another Eruption at the second group of warriors for [27] damage! She gains Empi's Affection buff (+8 DEX.)
Hiroki fires another wave of Curtain Fire for [16*10] damage! Four of them collapse under the barrage.
The second warrior horde rushes at the goblins. [6] fall into the crackpot. The remaining two stab one of the goblins to death.
The horde rushes at the remaining goblin. The remainder [roll 18] fall into the pot.
The archers riddle the goblin with arrows, which bounce off.
The beasts attempt to devour the goblins, to no avail. The rest [roll 8] fall in.
Despite Dackly's interference, the mist continues to creep toward the party. . .
Thirty more Warriors arrive, accompanied by twenty Archers.
Aurora takes 5 damage. Samantha takes 5 damage. Hiroki takes 5 damage. Solomon takes 5 damage.
(Call an attack that will be made, if called correctly, cancel the attack and stun the attacker)
Gozer Detonates his Deleterious Bombs in the mist, dealing a potential 4+1d4 AoE damage to it!
Solomon
Solomon eventually realizes that literally no one is willing to fight him, and that they are perfectly willing to crawl into a pot to get at a single barbeque sauce covered goblin, he eventually shrugged his shoulders at the absurdity of it all and decided that since the mindless spirits were perfectly fine with the status quo of 'Rush to goblin, die in pot somehow' and didn't even bother to fire arrows at it, he decided that his time would probably be better spent trolling them by raising the goblin up on a purposefully too high to reach and yet inviting looking platform above the pot made out of books of varying shapes and sizes, because fuck, you just can't buy this sort of entertainment.
Solomon attempts to use his mastery over books to abuse them in the shape of a platform that lifts the goblin several meters above the pot.
Atton
Atton would have commented on the mech user's aggressiveness negatively, but he put it down as her being more sensitive than most people and made a mental note to apologize when they were not facing down enemy reinforcements. He made a passing "That's the spirit" complete with a thumbs up at her before shouting out "I don't know what that mist means but it looks annoying! Finish off the remaining beasts and take care of the remaining nuisances! And who ever managed to figure out that pot and goblin trick should please continue doing that. Don't forget to stick together, they have the numbers but they certainly don't have the skill!."
Never give up targeting entire group, Int 18.7*1.25 health healed.
Bridgett smiles as she blast the skeletons. seeing that new archer group has arrived she shifted her focus to them. "Load Cartridge" she says a the ring around Mornings Arrow shifts and five bolts of magic appear around her. She then swings Mornings arrow in the general diction of the new group. "Magic Arrow fire."
Bridgett uses all five shots of Magic Arrows on the Archer Battalion with loaded cartridges dealing 1d4+syn(16)+syn again five times to the group.
Solomon's words echoed as Halley's blast collided with the horde. Don't start drinking yet Kid, and use a bigger gun next time, or poison.
I wish.
She figured that she should just do what was clearly more effective, and that would be crowd control. As the new horde of warriors came into sight, she took aimed at them, before firing a spray of suppressing energy.
Action: Sparkling Suppressor on Warrior Horde, dealing [SYN] = 6 damage and disabling Basic Attack and Basic Defense.
Edmond:
Why fix what isn't broken?
Edmond uses weld on the Dragon Tooth Archers: 2d6+INT=2d6+18 damage, and adds 3d6+18 damage to the next strike against them.
Liliya
It seemed that the warriors were all preoccupied by two weird creatures that had been summoned by...an angel? Still though, Liliya looked foward, hoping to avoid serious injury.
Liliya uses her basic attack on the Dragon Tooth Beasts. 3d6+DEX=3d6+10, with a 10% chance to crit. If she would get hit this turn though, she sacrifices her attack in order to dodge. (Perk: See the Future)
Tama Vajra
The damn Bowmen still aren't dead yet?
Tama uses Storm Fury on the Dragonbone Archers Again [full powered basic attack (11d4 Lightning Based) ignoring Res].
Aurora
The spider was about to fire off another blast of astral light, before she sensed the massive surge of positive energy someone else had already launched across the entire field, pretty much accomplishing her job for her and then some. Shrugging, she held up her hand again, letting another bolt of concentrated starlight fly across the killing field
Aurora uses Peircing Ray [Basic Attack: (4d4+Syn(10)) Light-Damage, deals 25% more against enemies suffering status ailments] on the Warrior Horde
Venus
Venus unleashes his fourth shot at the newly arrived Archer Battalion. (deals bonus damage equal to 4 + 4 per 4 SYN health, always critically strikes). Total damage: 2d4 + SYN + Bauble bonus damage + Quaternary Art Bonus damage + Four Times the Charm Bonus damage x 2.
Numerical total damage: (2d4 + 10 + 2 + 12 + 12)*2 = (2d4 +36)*2.
Kino
Kino casts Death's Breath on the Warrior Horde. (Target cannot use any other actions apart from Basic Attack and Defenses for one turn. Cannot crit.)
Seeing that there's still a goblin left and the bait seems to be working, Lexiel decides to do something other than throw goblins into the meat grinder.  She instead summons her Lightkeeper of Emeria, and orders it to block for her.  Her aura pulses out, barely audible, healing Hiroki, Soryn, and Friedhold for 3 HP each.
Samantha, meanwhile, decides to throw caution to the wind.  She feels pretty healthy right now.  So she activates her Phoenix Corona, and blasts an amped basic attack with her creepy psychic brain into the Archer Battalion.
[OOC:  Samantha uses Phoenix Corona and blasts a supercharged basic attack into the archer battalion.  Lexiel summons Lightkeeper of Emeria to block for her, and heals Hiroki, Soryn, and Friedhold with her aura.]
Walmond
It was at this point that Walmond realized that there was a strange mist approaching them, lingering on the field. But, with nothing much to do about it, Walmond simply begins taking careful breaths of air, unsure of what the mist WAS exactly, while focusing on the next course of action. Which, specifically, was continuing to assist the group. He did so back straightening himself off from the ground, then snapping his fingers towards a woman with dark hair and a multicolored outfit, specifically, towards the sword she used.
Walmond uses Electrical Current on Mitsurugi, giving her +12 electrical damage for two attacks.
Lambda
With her CLAW weaponry charging, Lambda proceeded forward, recognizing the new threats and reacting accordingly.
Lambda uses Threaten the Enemy on 3 of the new arriving skeleton warriors. 3 turns left on Defensive Modifications.
Magna Sigyl (33/39)
The arm that Magna had chosen to take had, in fact, started to try and choke her. A meaningless gesture, if not an amusing one. If her newly attached arm wasn't going to listen to her, she didn't need it anyway. She threw it to the ground, and crushed it beneath her scythe. Her eyes had not deceived her earlier, as there was, in fact, more skeletons approaching. Magna had considered reviving other skeletons to work for her, but they didn't look to be that durable anyway.
Reave [1d10 + INT(8)] Dragon Tooth Warrior B
----------------------
Soryn Éclaire (34/60 HP) (Hemosphere, 17 HP, deals 12 damage upon breaking to the attacker)
Soryn could feel the effects of a form of healing magic being cast on him from two different sources. A small, and futile effort. But an effort nonetheless. And those who did right by Soryn, he would certainly return the favor. Seeing as how the hordes of common skeletons seemed to be dissipating, Soryn decided to go after more interesting opponents.
The Blood Well is at (12/72) capacity!
Impale [INT(9) + 60% of missing health (16)] Dragon Tooth Beasts for 25 damage (Missing health accounted for healing done by Lexiel)
oh you gotta be kidding me... I'm really in no mood for fighting an endless hoard of enemy...
Leon then use quick burst of Zero Flash to get closer to the archers and attacked them.
Leon use Field Blitz on the archers (3 target; 1d6+1.25DEX)
