Burmy and wormadam. Because my favorite type is bug and this thing has zero redeeming qualities and I hate it for bringing shame to the type. Mothim is okay
Poison has a lot of variety in the early game but still provides a good amount of challenge.
Rock starts out pretty tough but it was easily my most rewarding playthrough ever
I had someone hack me a starter shuppet and drifloon for a ghost run. I now know why they aren't available early game. they are more that enough power. I had a ton of fun with it. highly recommend it.
Bug can be tough at points but it's my favorite type. I always reccomend it.
These were my favorite runs so far.
I do agree that some content is pushed back in very odd ways. Who is going to revisit the grand hall after beating Titania unless they know the mega ring is there.
I mean, I guess you may want to go make a donation or something. So I can kind of see that.
Melia is way to annoying right now. Calling team Xen pathetic when her and all her "friends" got decimated by them a few episodes ago. I bet Spacea and Tiempa, whoever they are, must have told her the she's the chosen one and she is destined to save the world or some nonsense. I think she is in denial at this point because ever since she came back things have only gotten worse and worse. You lost Nim and your mom already. Who's next?
Also, I can't bring myself to hate Valerie and Adam for trusting her. For all they know she is some mysterious person who managed to infiltrate Blacksteeple and she always acts confident. They never saw her at the beginning of the game bumbling around so they have no clue she is as completely clueless as they are.
Lucky eggs and exp share help. But it is sometimes impossible to switch train against the grand hall trainers if you are too low level. Make sure you make use of the steady stream of money you get from the battles. Buy rare candies every once in a while.
I usually train up my higher level mons until they can carry my team better before I try and train up the lower level guys. It seems less efficient but it saves time when the battles faster due to a few mons sweeping
Sadly this is an issue with the main series as well.
I like the rare candy solution though. Maybe could have a side quest for it. Training a gible 90% into a game is pretty tough.
I like to mix it up whenever I start a new game and avoid using the same mons if i can. But some exceptions to this rule are my favorite mons. Scolipede, Gardevior, and Flygon.
Also, almost every non legendary poke is available now. We have to run out of sidequests eventually. We only have 2 gym leaders left as well. We are on track to conclude the story sadly.
There are a LOT of plotlines left to cover admittedly. The few we have wrapped up are Shelly and Heather, Adrien?, Arc Light, and as of this episode
Is there any way to intentionally create the glitch field? I thought I remembered reading something about it being able create it. Maybe using conversion in odd circumstances. I wanted to do a Glitch run of the game
