Somehow, i never noticed all 3 of them use gen 5 starters. It is weird to me that Kiki isn't keeping her mono team for the first part of the game anymore. And Serperior's troll tactics fit fern very well. Cain is fine

Not necessarily. I got it in e17 without renovating the railnet. The boxes are moved at some point during E17 whether you renovate or not

For sm it works well because if you want your mons to be left somewhere to level up you can use the pelago. If we don't have pelago in reborn then there is no where to leave your pokemon to level up. Though personally I wouldn't mind the new way because I don't like when it chooses new moves for me

The games that give superpowers do a really good job of making you feel like a background extra. If your character doesn't have all these crazy powers like Nom, Crescent, and X then what are they really doing? Everything seems inconsequential. Winning battles is all you can do but once you win its just like. "We were just humoring you with those childish battles. Time to blast you to smithereens like I could have done in the first place." I have the same problem with insurgence where people have teleportation and what not. It's like, why are we even fighting, this guy is on an entirely different level than me.

I really enjoyed catching up on this run you used a ton of strategies I want to try myself and loved your use of the field effects. I also love seeing runs where all the mons are obtained naturally. Thank you for posting!

I agree with Alistair above. But at the same time I would love to have some on hand items like sleeppowder. I'd never use them in a serious battle but it would be so helpful against things like wild pokemon. It really reminds me of earthbound and final fantasy where some spells can be cast but there are items that do the same thing. I mean, we already have the powder vial which is basically what you stated above just not usable in battle. I would like to see it in future installments of the main series games

There are lots of great and underappreciated fairies at the start of the game and available throughout. Don't import any mons but instead use this run to gain a better appreciation for the type as a whole and not just its s-rank fighters Things Primarina Jigglypuff Swirlix And more with ep17 Will be available very early on and deserve much more love than they get
