  1. Can you get any more Barbroach in the post agate areas?
  2. Well we can't just get one starter at the end of the game, we are supposed to have every single one available. If gen vii is implemented that should hold true for it too
  3. I thought the popular theory was you needed the Super Rod to get it
  4. Solaris is a pretty cool villain. He may have made the mistake of sparing the Protagonist once, but after that he was like no, you are way too annoying to deal with. He would have killed us before the PULSE Muk if Amaria hadn't stepped in. But he's not like Sirius who gloats and says, oh I could've beaten you if it wasn't for this or that (claims he could've beaten Protag if Sapphira hadn't beaten him but Cain and Protag were enough to stop him too). Solaris has the skills to back it up and manages to be a decent test of your skill being the climax of a 3 part battle. The battle with him really felt like it was on equal footing and I cannot wait to tackle him solo. His motives are also interesting as he feels it is his duty to cleanse the city, not that he just doesn't like them or anything.
  5. Is the toxic orb available without Glitches now?
  6. I honestly need these fields to be as online battle areas. It'd create such a cool meta to have separate fields you start on at the beginning of the match. So many strats and team set ups! It should honestly have its only site like showdown to use them lol
  7. No rain dance? You will have a fun time with Charolette. I had to beat her by abusing Rain Dance and Water Sport. You can't get it once you get to Agate. But you should be able to exploit other strategies. Especially with that volc. You have most of the notable Bugs. Heracross is a great bug, very powerful, but if we get mega evolution next episode then Pinsir was the right choice. Only other notable bugs you don't already have are venomoth ( ace sleepy time maker and quiver dancer and/or passer). Vivillion (Hurricaaaane), Volbeat/Illumuise (only really helpful at this point if you have Rain Dance anyway. But also good for encore). Masquerain, ONLY Bug with water attacks outside of Scolipede (move tutor aqua tail), armaldo (aqua jet meh) and Douse Drive Genesect. So yeah, basically the only way to use Hydro Pump, Scald, water sport, Ice beam . But you look like you are doing great with your current team so don't sweat it. Oh and don't forget Scyther! T_T
  8. Anna could use Rainbow maybe. Arc Light, it would be cool to see the electric field used more than once the entire game. Maybe Bennett will be E4 with a new field, but he seems adept and using whatever field there is, such as the dark cave and mirror fields. It does show he's good at adapting to any situation.
  9. Lets see, its been a while since I've done a completely normal run of the game. Serra was certainly the easiest. My Arcanine ran through most of her pokes with Flamethrower and Flare Blitz. There wasn't much challenge. I may have had a harder time with Noel or someone, but all I can remember for sure is Charolette was a nightmare. I was just so mad at her field. Usually the fields have a weakness, but Charolette's weakness seems to be use Fire as well. Sadly I don't usually use fire unless it is my fire. I ended finally winning by destroying the field with a Walrien Blizzard. (Which was also very helpful in the next few battles vs Swalot, Terra, and Ciel). Honorable mention to Shelly for being the most consistently difficult but fair leader (if you don't set the field on fire >_>)
  10. Swalot is definitely the hardest for me. But after a few tries I realized the field it was on could be frozen with my Walrein's blizzard. It died pretty easy without that field boosting and healing it.
  11. I wonder what other kinds of field we will get next episode I love seeing fields that we can make on our own without it already being there. But we have already used the Pledge combinations and the Terrains. Ame had a great idea of making the inverse field creatable. I wonder if there is a way to create naturally occuring fields to help types like water and ice. We do have a swamp field already Maybe a field that could benefit fighting types naturally. Something that benefits the mixed martial arts style of fighting like boosting not only fighting moves but binding moves as well.
  12. Veeeeery sneaky Ame. Looks amazing though
  13. Is there an image I should be seeing :/
  14. I do not IV breed in game. I have in the main series and I may later in this one. But I have played through several times and monotype runs as well. You do not need it to beat the game. It definitely helps. You will definitely see the difference if you go for perfect IV EV and nature. But if that isn't fun for you then don't feel obligated to do it. That being said, I will check the IVs. If I caught multiple of a mon I will train the one with the best IVs. And I'll usually correct the nature in 7th if it's bad
  15. In response to Gourgeist, it is pretty good once it learns Shadow Ball around level 36. Teach it that and it can do heavy damage to Shade's slower ghosts like doublade. And it has the bulk to take a hit back. You can also use shadow sneak to chip one of his stronger ghosts like his Ace
  16. I'm a fan of underdogs, and I absolutely love running Scolipede. It's versatility, great design, and accessibility throughout the games means I can pick one up every playthrough and proceed to Megahorn some faces off! It also became my signature mon when I was playing in a monotype league on showdown for a long while and I got some sweet Avatar with it, but I cannot find it anymore :/
  17. Again, you are viewing bug all wrong. Like I said, bug isn't trying to tank your attacks, its trying to hit you first and harder. Nothing is living that head smash unless it has Sturdy, or its Foretress. But in response to that Tyrantrum, he can have a faster Scarf Heracross or Durant. He could have Sticky Web up to outspeed with most bugs. He could have a Quiver Dance up on his Volc and kill it with a field boosted Bug Buzz. He could have a Scolipede with speed boost and a Megahorn with a field boost. And there is always Bullet Punch from Scizor. Heck, gyro ball from Foretress would hit that Tyrantrum hard. Don't underestimate bug. Also, I have full confidence that anything I listed above can be achieved by the AI. It's not just with a real human player. And I'm sorry, I know you all are handling the AI and teams. I'm just trying to throw in my opinions of what I think makes a good bug team. I just don't want him to be a joke a like Diamond and Pearl Aaron. Platinum Aaron is great, but bug gets too much of a bad wrap often when it really is a great type. Although I don't know why I'm worried when you already did such a great job with all the leaders and Shelly. Who is one of the most challenging leaders in the game without feeling cheap. (As long as you don't go easy mode)
  18. I can't see Laura's Grass being stronger than any of the current and potential E4 >_> (I mean c'mon, she has a lilligant)
  19. That's why bugs are Hyper Offensive. You can usually take them out pretty easy. But they will try to hit you harder first. Sticky Webs helps with that.
  20. Also, while I do realize a lot of my team building for Bennett is based on competitive play. I would like to state that it is based off of Monotype competitive experience. Not OU.
