  3. It's within Ferns character to break mono at least I guess. I could easily see him being like, "cheap noob gym leaders with their type advantage and field effects. There's no way they could beat me if I could use pokes that advantage theirs too. In fact..."
  4. You are thinking of Cal. I mean Blake and Victoria. Blake is the suped up ice version of Fern with 30% more jerk and slightly less swag. And oh yeah I forgot Noel. Although I guess he can get a pass since GameFreak was at fault not him
  5. Yeah, it's a shame so many people broke their monotypes. (EXCOMMUNICATE THEM) But the only ones keeping their monotypes are Kiki, Blake, the leaders (barring the traitorous flobot), the E4, and Bennett (Who is basically an E4). So...Kiki and Blake are the only ones who use monotype that aren't forced to... I never thought I would respect Blake for anything but good job.

  7. Luna's episode. Idk, just something annoying about 2 episodes revolving ransom/ kidnapping of Luna. And then still nothing is resolved by the end of it
  8. Stop making these absolutely amazing Gardevoir sprites cause I know they all can't be in the game!!!! I can't decide if I like Ame gardevoir cause of the rep or ghost gardevoir because it is so freaking AWESOME.

    Easiest Gym?

    Kiki has more than just that Psy weakness. I was having trouble against her on my mono rock run cause lunatone was too slow and fragile to sweep and I didn't feel like breeding a shuckle to get sticky web. So, I brought forth my ace starter Onix whom I thought might be getting underwhelming, but mope. Sent it against one of her less heavy hitters and it DESTROYED her. To paint a picture, use sand tomb, double accuracy drops, then curse and sub to your hearts content. It's ridiculously cheap, but hey, she chose the field not me
  10. I'm very happy to hear about this Geo rock! I look forward to seeing it in a future release. My second point is probably moot with the addition of Geo rock. As for the third point. I was always under the impression that charolettes team was nerfed because her team was so fast and hit so hard with the field boost. Which wouldn't be as big of a problem if her field was weaker. But I do also realize that an overpowered team is overpowered either way. And that even if her field were easier to change, that shouldn't be the only way the player could win. Im at least thankful that if we ever get a pvp installed in this game that the superheated field cannot be created through natural means.

  12. The annoying thing about charolette is that her field has no detriment. Julia- explosions can't affect ground and lightning rod. Florina- her field doesn't benefit enough to warrant a need to get rid of it Shelly- complete destruction by fire Shade-light it up Corey- mist is op but corrosive field is manageable Kiki- built in weakness via psychic Aya- don't remember Noel- no benefit either way Radomus- Psy + rock typing makes fighting types useable? Luna-light it up baby or eq Samson- built in flying weakness via acrobatics and fly Terra - no benefit either way Ciel- her team is meh, no Skarmory Charolette? She's a beast. I'm not arguing she needs more nerfing. I want her old strong team back. She deserves to be strong. Just more ways to manipulate her field. Only way off the top of my head to kill it is rain dance and blizzard. And blizzard pretty much means bring walrein or rely completely on rain dance. Anything else dies to quickly to even set up a blizzard
  13. Hey so I just wanted to give my input on some things I think would be great to see for field effects. 1. Prolonging items- I know Ame likes to stay close to the game's original design barring field effects. However now that field effects are such an integral part of the game, they should be treated as such. Much like heat rock, smooth rock etc. there should be items to prolong moves like grassy terrain, misty terrain, etc. The fact that you can transform these fields is genius and I just think the player should be able to take full advantage off this ability. Because at the moment the most you can do is: Turn 1 set up misty terrain Turn 2 corrosive mist 3 turns later it's gone with hardly any use 2. Field counters reset when field changes. It must comes up and I change it to corrosive. It should last 4 more turns at least . This may be a better suggestion than a idea but I think it would further help field effects be awesome. Basically set must ( 5 turns left) make corrosive (5 turns left) 3 turns later use gravity (corrosive field 5 turns left. And so on 3 nerf superheated field. I love charolette and the challenge she poses and how tough she was. But her field is ridiculous. I've never minded field effects because they are just as detrimental as beneficial. Julia was great, no way to stop her field but her explosions are immune for ground and lightning rod. Shelly you can burn the Forrest etc. charolettes field does nothing but benefit her. She can transform it to a burning field right off the bat and then you have to get rid of both. Blizzard and rain dance are the best ways to take away that advantage. But they are so few and far between its ridiculoius. True you can use rock and ground but we should more ways to take away her home field advantage. Then maybe we could unnerf her team. Any thoughts?
  14. Hey there! I was hoping to do a run of this game where a take complete advantage of the field system. Problem is, one of my key early mons needed for this run, (Wingull's mist) wasn't available. I got panpour instead Can anyone help me out and give me a wingull or trade their wingull for a panpour?   15. I was pretty over set up for her. I already had a mamoswine witch hits most of her team hard. But I also ended up having a walrein. I had that because I used it just for charolette (blizzard). Then it stayed useful vs Blake and terra annnnnd the pulse(blizzard too good). So when ciel came around that battle was sadly short.
  16. You're going to have to explore a bit more. There's a way to do it. But it will require continuing forward (and eventually looping back around) and find something that will help you.

  18. Eh I don't know. I mean he does have a scyther so we know he'll break his motif. And mega beedrill is kinda terrible. But I guess it's not supposed to outshine his volc anyways I guess
  19. Mega garchomp is a thing. Solaris sure as heck doesn't have one since he would have used it. Only other option is...well since she's the final gym leader and all. To prepare us for the league where they probably have legends....Mega Lati@s? (we're dead)
  20. All of the limited event pokemkn will become available to get at some point. But the game isn't finished yet so you can't them just yet. You'll probably get a cacnea legitly in the desert
  21. I like someone's idea I heard before for fern. Not that he become champ but Florina ends up leaving the league and fern takes over after saphira. Making him the final gym leader. And knowing him he'd probably use his non grass team just to mess with you.
  22. Tangrowth was one of the hardest. And let's be honest, on your first and maybe second playthroughs, taka and zel tag team are one of the hardest fights in the game. Also pulse swalot. It was absolutely ridiculous with its bulk and worked very well with the field
