  1. So i've been stuck on a fight with Pulse Swalot. This thing is UNBEATABLE, it's OP to the max level, i'm using the Simple Easy mod to try and beat it and i can barely damage it. I tried to import some legendary pokemon but it didn't work, this thing laughs in the face of Necrozmas, obliterates any Groudon, and kills Deoxys like they were a bunch of ants walking around its flat. It's too hard for me! If you know how to beat this horrible roite of a gross blob of a monster, can you tell me how you managed to do so? What saint did you pray to to help you beat it? It's way too hard for me, way too hard.

  5. Hi Guys, I just came back to playing Reborn couple of weeks ago and as I had to notice (40 hours of playtime later) that I don't have a Pulse Dex or anything like that. (I was wondering, however, what these green Read-out thingies were -- in my defense ;-)). Can anyone help me out with that? I read that this is due to skipping E16 but not how to fix it.   6. I read the dex data on this pulse swalot and its speed is supposed to be abysmal, but it moves before every single one of my Pokemon , except my Blastoise My Blastoise. Is it a field effect, where the slower Pokemon move first, or is something wrong with my game?
  7. Before you read: This post contains spoilers about many parts of the game. If you haven't played through E16 already I recommend you to do so first. You have been warned. Sorry for bad such great formatting, that your eyes are overwhelmed by it which makes it harder to read. So, first things first: The pulses that you can already battle/ register in your pulse dex. We all know that pulses are quite strong, but have you ever wondererd how strong exactly? Well, as there seem to be no conplete guides about it (the only thing I found was only up to pulse Abra, I believe), I looked into it and found the base stats of the pulses: (Please note that there's a chance I made an error somewhere.) And that's where the speculation begins! We do know that there is a pulse Mr. Mime and a pulse Clawitzer. The Agate sleep spell probably has something to do with a pulse, too. When will we be able to battle which pulses? Will there be a pulse to battle in E17? What do you think are the 2 unknown pulses? And what could their types, abilities and base stats be? Do you think we'll eventually somehow get to use them our own? (I mean they're pretty much custom mega-evolutions, so...)
  8. i am very annoyed, i have a pretty ok team. typhlosion, meowstic, arcanine, furret, floatzel, pachirisu. and i thought i was doing ok.............until i met PULSE swalot. now, i have already beaten every trainer i could till PULSE swalot, so training up ground/rock/steel types to cope with it is rather impossible. i always start with pachirisu and use discharge for the hope of the 30% para chance (swalot 2 shots this guys though) and i have been here for 2 hours and NOT A SINGLE PARA. i am slowly losing my mind to frustration. and its kinda annoying how sludge wave basically is a 180 (or so) with the murkwater field effect, add that to swalots natural bulk and its just god dam ridiculous.after having gone through a extra hours + the 2 hours from before i have collected pokemon on route 3 (bisharp, piloswine any hel and graveller) in order to better prepare myself for the sludge wave but i have lost all confidence in myself. if there is anyone who reads this who has a good mon that can take it out then i will forever be in your favor. and as much as i love this game there are 2 things i detest in it. puzzles and now swalot. *edit: will give out my online play username once someone decides to help me. any help is appreciated.
  9. Hello all so I was a bit bored in this afternoon and I thought to myself; Hmm Amethyst is working on something that is taking the medieval approach, how about create some fitting sprites?!   11. This more than a bug is a tinny fail on the AI. When battling the pulse-muk, it used discharge, changing the battlefield to short-circuit field, and then it tried to attack my golett with muddy water, that deal electric damage on that field, for, like, 10 turns. It was a really big advantage for me, but I think it should be changed if it's possible. Like, having a ground type makes that battle really easy if you know that tinny bug/AI-error. So, thats all I have to say. I think nobody posted about it so I'm informing. I hope this is the right place to post this, and I hope I'm not being an annoyance for communicate it. Byes! EDIT: WOOPS Searching for tags I found that more people found this, but it's posted in other subforums. How can I delete this topic then?
  12. Hey there, I lately had my first encounter with PULSE Muk and it was....waaaay too easy. The AI kinda screwed up badly and I wanted to know if anyone else has noticed similar effects. The AI ignored the field effect and rendered itself pretty useless, I was fighting Muk with a Sandslash, so the AI tried to get at me using water type moves. Not bad, ey? The thing is, due to the field effect the Wave "Picked up electricity" and thus had no effect on sandslash at all. The Muk also didn't vary its attacks, it used the same move over and over again hoping for super effectiveness and that was kind of a bummer because otherwise the fight would have been at least of medium difficulty (Use Moonlight again, I dare you, I double dare you). So as someone who doesn't know so much about game programming I've been wondering wether that can be fixed or if it even was intentional (like to demonstrate a failed prototype or something, dunno) and wether you have observed similar occasions (not necessarily against muk).
  13. Does anyone else think the PULSE Tangrowth has become easier? I used to get stuck on it all the time in E13 and E14, but this time I beat it with a Lv. 18 Kricketune with Fury Cutter. What do you think? -nsbwinner2
  14. While browsing older threads i saw topics how to beat Tangrowth, Abra and Muk So i thought it might be interesting to know what the base stats of these Pokemons are.   15. Help oh godly ame. lol. But actually - i have no idea what to do. i keep getting this crash during the final PULSE boss battle. I have tried soft resetting three times, and playing out the battle but I keep getting the crash. It may have to do with me quick saving while I am walking during the cutscene, but idk.
