Zane0144 16 Posted April 23 Share Posted April 23 I'm not sure what you expect a guy to do when you ask him to go do a boss battle that is stacked against him and he can't win without a well thought out strategy on a field he has never seen before now. Also if he loses then he loses a team member. Reading a description is not the same as actually battling on a field. Similar to how reading about or watching VGC battles won't make you good at VGC. This desert is so huge but I spent at least an hour running around what I'm sure is the entire thing and have just two to show for it, possibly only one is currently counted as I left after finding the first one to heal. I've now lost half my team to stupid Arena Trap Dugtrios (What is the point of Arena Trap on the player's end, even way back in gen 2 before abilities existed, the roaming dogs had Roar to get around entrapment shit such as Mean Look), and have used up all my Cotton Candies but am afraid to leave again and reset it. There. Mini-vent over. Sorry. Yeah I don't think Ttar is gonna find Mirage Tower because I can't see him running around the desert that much. Especially not once he finds the Scrapyard. Spoiler there are 4 oasis, all are on the southern half, 2 on the left, 2 on the right each time you use the light shard at the oasis go to the area in the top left corner with the brown lakes and check if the tower spawned entering it will keep it spawned forever and leaving the desert resets progress Link to post Share on other sites

I've used him but I've always been a frugal spender of both real and game currencies and I wanted a shiny as well so was already having to reset the egg. Right^^ Breeding isn't diffucult in general, but getting the right nature CAN be rather tedious (at least up to Gen 7 in the official games, haven't played Sword/Shield, and definetely won't touch those) if you don't have any matching Mons with the right nature to breed with. In that sense breeding CAN be "difficult" and time consuming, even more so if you are trying to breed for competetive Pokémon. Pokémon Reborn makes breeding competetive Pokémon very easy though. The only downside right now is the fact that there are some TMs you don't have access to without cheating in EP18. That being said i am looking forward to TTar's next episode, as he will get lost in the desert for sure XD Link to post Share on other sites

The scrappuzzle will let him go crazy, I am stuck sometimes myself even after finishing a lot of times without a guide. I hope he finds atleast one oasis and wonders why it vanishes. True but I was fortunate this time, the second shiny Trapinch I hatched was Timid nature and it was speed favoring I was after (that and a ground Pokemon that can learn Earthquake since there is no TM for it). The thing is a level 77 Flygon now and I'm feeling good about getting it's speed past Titania's. Same deal with my Excadrill only I used the psychiatrist to give him a speed favoring nature.
