  2. Serperior for sure. People say it's only good for the late game, but don't you know you can just breed another snivy, and raise it to level 43 to get SUPER early Leaf Storm? Hell, my main strategy for some fights always has been: 1. Weaken the lead. 2. Set up webs 3. Leaf storm 4. Sweep

  6. Inside of the game folder, there will be a separate scripts folder. You can edit everything trough there without the need of rpgmaker

  8. Just to make a clarification: stat boosts don't work as you think. For example, giving 1.5x speed to ariados doesn't give it a base 60 stat, but with max investment and a +speed nature, it can go up all the way to 100 base speed. Paired with toxic spikes support, it can be a deadly wallbreaker and sweeper, specially with access to priority moves and swords dance
  9. Pokemon with more than 510 EVs, megas with items and levels above the level cap are fine, since you can almost always play around it. The real culprit here is the AI
  10. Pretty much every pokemon can abuse choice items. The reason why they seem fine in competitive, but too broken on Rejuvenation, is because you don't have to deal with prediction games. Choice locking yourself isn't as bad in a game as it is in competitive, because you'll be switching out anyways, knowing exactly what the opponent will do. This specially applies for switch mode, in which the restriction becomes basically inexistent, because you're prompted to switch out after every single turn.
  11. My only complain is that the AI has way too much knowledge about the player's team and actions. For example, I remember theorizing a battle against Melia for a mono-grass playthrough, and she always seemed to switch out to a different pokemon when I replaced Slash for Knock off on Leavanny. Also? Every time I tried to substitute, her Hydreigon still attacked, even though it ALWAYS protected when I didn't use the move. The AI moving after you ruins most battles for me, because it gives it a completely unfair advantage. Don't get me wrong. I love the difficulty and balance philosophy behind the game, but making the AI a literal god just makes it harder for the sake of being harder
  12. I really hope they just take the Gen 7 approach. Don't include a national dex, but PLEASE make every pokemon available

  14. Considering patch 3 (v13.0.3) recently came out, you might as well just download that instead. You'll practically be downloading the game again, so there's nothing special about it
  15. Cool post. I really like the idea of a Bug/Dark Butterfree, specially with the Bad Dreams ability. Not only it makes sense lore wise, with all the folklore surrounding butterflies, but it also makes sense in-game, considering Butterfree's access to sleep related moves like Nightmare and Dream Eater
  16. Persian is also amazing here, because it can constantly use Taunt, Flash and Bite to slowly chip both Spiritomb and Dusclops. Their only attacking moves are Night Shade and Shadow Sneak, and Flash turns the field into a Forest Field, making you inmune to her ghost type moves (since those are super effective against normal types in the haunted field). Boltund is also a pretty good revenge killer thanks to Strong Jaw boosted Crunch and Flame Charge turning into a ghost type move
