    The same happened the previous time too. Caz had disappeared from the face of earth and suddenly came back with an almost ready v4 update. Apparently this is how he does things. I think we re probably good

    Finally, time to Chill. Also you think you re going to switch icecone's ability to snow warning and spamm blizzards? Or you worry about hail actually killing your own pokemon ? Also leave it to Saki to cure you of your issue with boats.

    Horace was too busy watching Daniel and Elias to notice that the Bulbasaur was handing out envelopes, so at some point he felt something nudge his legs, and it was an envelope doing so, gripped gently by the bulb pokemon's mouth. "Oh, sorry little one, thanks." He smiled to it as he took the envelope. He opened it to examine its contents, only for the Smokescreen to have happened at the perfect timing. He sighed, and waited for the smoke to dissipate so he could finally read the envelope's contents.

    Yep that looks like quite a lot of work. The result is v pretty tho!

    "Now now, lets calm down, okay? Do you really think jumping headfirst into a pokemon battle will be good for your image? It is not the pokemon league challenge here." Horace said to Elias. Though he secretly was curious about how would that battle turn out.

    Riight that's one way to say you don't want to waste too much money in salaries. Seeing as it was his cue, he spoke up. "Horace Kampton, graduate of the Jeff Stagger's Private Police Academy. I also have done quite a lot of practical training in ranged combat."

    Seeing that the situation escalated very dangerously and she still had no space to do anything about it, Cathode figured she might as well start strong, should another teammate gets out of commission. "Keep cursing up Suzie, we need to be prepared for everything" [Suzie used another Curse]

    Horace was about to tell the guy that he doesn't need the flash drive because he had transferred the files to the LAN's shared folder, but the guy had taken it and done his job before he had the chance to do so. "Oh well," he mused. He then took a piece of post-it paper and wrote "Horace Kampton's Desk" before sticking it on the surface. He might as well do some socializing for now. That guy came off as a bit lacking manners, taking his flash stick without receiving an answer, but at least he seemed to also like playing emu games. He might as well hang out with him for now. "Sounds like a good idea. I'm coming with you." He said to Elias, and walked to the elevator.

    I can't find any words atm to describe how I absolutely love the meteor family picture! where is El and Siggy and Blake But I also like very much the Shelly+Heather because finally someone depicted them as the 12year olds they really are. And Shelly's expression is spot on. Not sure about heather, I'm not sure if she would be smiling

    Horace did what any mature man would do, and quickly trotted and settled down at the desk which was the least further from the coffee machine, nonchalantly saying "Claimed." He then placed his bag to the side. He absentmindedly moved the laptop's mouse, and figured he would need to press the power button, which is what he did. He then wasted no time in uploading his GBA emulator from his usb flash disk, into his new work laptop. "If anyone considers having a GBA emulator for stress relief is a good idea, feel free to grab it, and any rom you want from the shared folder. "

    "Actually I have one that just came to my mind but it is a bit irrelevant with the training gym. Will the agency cover any basic ammunition costs? I tend to find it too expensive for my economical situation currently."

    "I see, I'm glad to hear it, sir." Horace had replied to the tour guide. He didn't find the addition of two more tour guides any more noteworthy for him to say anything though so he just stayed a bystander.

    Cathode had immediately felt the overwhelming gravity and as she was in that helpless kneeling position, she figured that it would be best to not bring out Suzie yet without assessing the situation. It was not much later that a pink shard, not unlike the blue shard that Terry had, got absorbed by the tree, Making it undergo a radical change. It good that the pressuring feeling from earlier got replaced with a comfortable warmth. She figured it was good to release Suzie now. "Suz, I'm not sure what's going on here, but better be prepared just in case. Curse up while i try to figure things out." She approached closer to the others and asked no one in particular, "G-guys? what is happening here? Wh-hat is the deal with this weird tree?" [Suzie used Curse]

    Upon coming close to the training grounds, Horace felt a familiarity. He would always either come to the shooting range or go to the paintball club to relax after the pent-up stress of the day. It was inevitable that this facility would have one too. He hoped he would be spending quite some time here too. "Will we be able to use this place to practice during any of our free time?"

    When i read about rodents i was expecting a pikaclone run, and i frowned a little. Reminded me of when you did the bug monorun because you hated the type. But im glad that there is much more variety which makes it interesting. Though the main selling point is of course my FAVORITE character of DR2. Great selection there! And the storytelling is very enjoyable. How weird that Jum-P went from being all innocently obedient to a rebellious teen! Also Nidoran scientist? Nidoctor? Hah xD I already foresee a future scene where your two nidos develop feelings between them, evolve and settle down somewhere to make a family (since staying in the team would break the rodent theme)

    Cathode could see them as nothing more than toys, despite Terry's serious tone, but she could figure that they would be of great sentimental value to him so he can think that way. She deposited them back in, and typed "Do not worry Mr. Terry, they are perfectly safe. I'm going to find the others in case they are in trouble, but I hope not!" "Come on girls and Clarence! Lets go!" She quickly trotted towards the hole, and passed through to the other side. What was in front of her was a sight to behold. A giant tree of sorts that appeared to be more than simply 'alive', and her friends scattered around appearing to be battling... that same tree?

    Merged with the nexus? Would that be an elaborate way to say that it is now dead? She figured she would learn about this later from the others. Terry seemed to fail to understand the most puzzling issue about these mechamons, so she typed down, "The issue is that they were scattered in this new nexus. How would they find their way here? Do you reckon they would have come from the other nexus that forcefully merged with this one?"

    Realising Terry would not listen to her anyway, she simply nodded with a smile and handed it to him. Then she took out her device and typed with perfect punctuation like the nerd she was. "So you have no clue about this apart from what it has been designed after? This is weird though. We found this, and these too, I reckon, either scattered around the place, or in the possession of wild pokemon. Also what would that blue shard might be?" She took out the other two mechamons in open view to him.

    Terry seemed indeed fine, and these big buff intimidating people never gave a reason for Cathode to worry about them anyway. "O-oh Mr. Terry, I'm glad to see you're okay. Clarence was indeed a big help so far! She said smiling shyly to him. What is this blue shard? O-oh! More importantly, before that, Mr. Terry! We found two mechamons down here! One depicts a gabite, and the other a pokemon that looks like a porygon2 but... a bit different... Clarence claimed that you might know about the latter one!. " Cathode took the P-AZ mechamon out of the shared inventory and showed it to him.

    As the elevator was reaching its desination, horace had felt a soft mass with almost nonexistent weight to be placed on top of his head. Looking at the elevator's mirror e saw a cute swablu having taken the shape of the hat, obviously proud about it. Hi lips curled into a small smile as he absentmindedly brought his hand up and started stroking the mass of fluff. "Whose your partner little birdie? You're pretty cute. You like to roleplay a hat? My now sleeping friend like to roleplay too.. as a gun though." It was about that time when the elevator stopped and they walked out, the swablu probably being content staying as a hat. James had asked them to put their pokemon in their balls, but Magnum was sleeping in his inner pocket anyway, and he had never caused any commotion in his life, having lived in a house and all, so he pretended the horsea was not existing in there, and didn't do anything. After a pretty boring tour where they were explained stuff that everyone could figure out by themselves, reached the room with the smiling deskman, and were left off with an indirect threat, he couldn't help but comment, "This is a pretty intimidating way to motivate us to not mess up. None's perfect you know?"
