  1. "Thanks, I appreciate it!" Cathode recalled Suzie back. She then answers to Emm. "T-thats promising! Only one way to find out, then! But I suggest we first check the corridor that on the other side of the room I came from, because it obviously leads to a room we haven't visited. W-what do you think?" She held up the minimap-showing A-Comm for everyone to see, pointing at corridor 20.
  2. Cathode was so busy being happy with the success of the whole thing that she had not registered that someone had just hugged her, which meant being in uncomfortably close contact with her, until after it was over. She made to scream, but thought that would be pointlessly stupid and held it in anyway. Didn't stop her from being shaken. Emmanuel asked her a question. She tried to answer without giving away. Emphasis on "tried". "E-e-eeheheh, h-hello there I see you guys got more friends. G-good job on catching that meanie by the way!" She put on a pouting expression, her annoyance on the matter overthrowing her uncomfort "He tricked us into following him for the exit, but he ended up ambushing us and stealing the mechamon you are holding. Not the Gabite, the other one. We then ran into him again, but we were unlucky with sleep attacks and failed to catch him. Suzie... S-Suzie got taken out by the crystal energy contained in one of the passage blockades exploding. I told her to stop but she apparently found the crystal as a good target to vent her frustration from the Sableye fight on. I swear she is so stubborn sometimes." She sadly looked back at the unconscious snake. "I figured this water would have healing properties, but apparently its not enough to revive a fainted one... maybe you guys have any idea? If no, then I would be g-grateful if you borrowed me one of your pokemon. Maybe I can try make the meanie to be less of a jerk. Oh, also... we should try to call Mr. Terry, according to Clarence he knows about the mechamons. Thanks for the help, by the way, Clarence!"
  3. Cathode, having no pokemon to assist with, dragged (too heavy to pick up) larvitars sleeping form a bit further than the sleeping sableye. "Can you use aromatherapy on him, please, Clarence?" Taking a better look at him, she noticed that the previously battered clefairy was revitalized. And there was this mysterious water they were treading on. Maybe... She tossed Suzies ball a bit further from them yet still into the water, releasing her unconscious form, and hoping for the best.
  4. Cathode, and probably Clarence too, didn't need to be told more than once. She swiftly turned around the corner, and dived sideways (giving space for Clarence's sing and larvitar's attack) , after locking on to her target. She sprayed him in the face. Or at least tried to.
  5. Cathode nodded. And turned to whisper to Clarence while un-jamming her repel bottle using a long pin she brought for that purpose. "When he gives the signal, we go for another Sing plus Sleep Powder combo on the target that is around the corner. We can't possibly be as unlucky as the last time." She then quickly typed in her A-Comm "Ready when u are"
  6. Cathode got triggered for a moment by listening about a Sableye again, but she caught up, and wrote in her A-Comm, "Suzie is knocked out for now. Clarence here might be able to take out the Sableye in one shot though. The mechas seem to have value, and might be connected with Terry. We can't afford to lose a single one.
  7. "We should move fast." She said while turning left (towards 18). "We can't afford hard battles right now, unless we find a way to revive Suzie. Now that i think of it, this place is full of crystals containing various energies. Hopefully a situation will present itself. Revives are crystal shards too. Maybe some will be around." She turned to Zeta as they were on the move. "You collect Star Pieces, right? Why specifically those?" As she reached the "crossroads" and gazed around the room, she saw Radovan and Emmanuel in front of another opening. How lucky, considering only a weakened Clarence was able to battle from their side. They seemed to be dealing with something she could not see from where she was standing. She figured it would be best to not cause any disturbances, so she simply crept towards them. If any of those noticed her, she hoped they would signal her if there was anything she could do.
  8. "S-SUZIE N-" Suzie would not listen to her, and after the last tackle, the explosion caused, blew her back, some steps away from the group's feet. She was passed out, but for the most part looked okay. Cathode sighed facepalmed with one hand, and with the other she recalled the snake. She put her hand gently on the ball, mumbling. "Y-you s-stubborn girl. You should s-sometimes listen to me. I-I use logic for my decisions..." She then looked back to the source of the problem. And said to Zeta and Clarence, "We might as well not let this go to waste. Let's go take a closer look now that that it's, p-presumably, safe."
  9. Upvote for alolan starters replacing unova starters! I'm always supporting some positive change (tho fern might actually be weaker with deciduye instead of serperior but oh well)
  10. Me contemplating how many eons ago did I last clean the car's mirror. Also me silently judging a certain someone's excuses in Discord's DMs.
  11. The emanating glow from within the crystal cracks was not part of Cathode's ideal scenario. An intense glow would mean an overflow of energy. Smashing such a crystal containing concentrated energy might result in pretty explosive effects, and she would not risk Suzie's well being like that. Even if Clarence has heal pulse, if Suzie gets taken out in one go it would be useless. "S-Suzie, that glow is worrying me! Please stop! This isn't worth the risk of you getting heavily injured! Here, according to the updated map, on of the two unexplored corridors is the one that will probably lead to the place behind this crystal. We can just take the long way. We will go back and turn left!" Suzie turned around, even more annoyed due to Cathode's indecisiveness. She grumpily stopped ramming on the cracked crystal wall and made to return accompanying the group. ...But not before giving it one final tackle out of spite.
  12. Cathode's mouth was agape, registering what just happened. Her plan crumbling due to a stroke of incredibly bad luck. She stomped her foot down and shouted, "Y-you have no idea how lucky you were this time, jerk!" She sat down, giving the death stare (which is as scary as a mudkip giving you a death stare) to her Sporespray, before storing it back. She then blew out some air and said, while staring to the ceiling. "The plan was solid. We did our best by acting when the possibilities were at their highest. We have nothing to regret about. Hopefully he will try to mess with us again, giving us another shot at him." She stood up and bore her eyes on the crystal wall in front of her. "In any case, standing here any longer will not do us any good. Suzie, i'd suggest Curse up four more times and tackle this crystal. " Just as annoyed as her trainer, Suzie found the fact that she was at least going to break something in place of that despicable thief quite endearing. She wasted no time in doing as she was prompted.
  13. Ame has been corrupted by the horrendous things of this world. Save Ame
  14. ΑααααααaaaaaaaaAaaaaaaAAAAAAAAA Bear hugs Mander And never lets go
  15. Not optimal distance. And every second counts. They needed to get close to the ghost, and fast, or delay it even more from escaping. The fastest one of their group was Suzie, and using Rock Tomb again would have to stay covered by her for protection, so the prankster could use the chance to gain more distance and finally escape. "Clarence, prepare to jump and run with me! Sing when i spray! Suzie go Bind him fast!" The rock snake started uncurling and Cathode jumped. Suzie would use bind on the Sableye, dealing no damage but restricting his stealthy movement only within the shadows inside the snake's curl. If the Sableye wanted to get out, he would have to go visible and get Sprayed and Sung on. If he stayed in, Cathode would Spray within the curl's crevices, while Clarence would Sing through them. If her plan was right, Sableye in both cases would be most likely incapacitated for a while.
  16. Seeing the Sableye realize he is in for a tough ride and disappear into the shadows again, Cathode realized she had no time to spare. Whether he was planning to attack or to flee, he had to use the shadows to do it. The shadows of the surrounding cave's walls. The source of Suzie's attack. "Fast Suzie! Rock Tomb!" If he was going to attack, he would probably do a negligible damage to Suzie before getting tombed. If he was going to run away, she hoped her command was fast enough for the rocks to stop him in his tracks long enough for her and Clarence to sleep him. [Suzie uses Rock Tomb for 140 damage]
  17. Name: Insuta Ayumu Age: 128 Gender: Female Appearance: An obsidian skin-colored fairy with ginger Longwing Butterfly wings, that darken towards black across the outer parts and some other small areas. She also has tomboyish-short spiked ginger hair. She is like 1,13 meter tall, and slender. Background: Preferred Location: Faywilds Preferred Quest(s): Reagan's Fortune Preferred Modifier(s): Marked for Death, Maximum Trash Current Regalia: Third Generation Neural Combat Suit: Special Edition. The armored suit that Insuta wears almost always. Jet black for easier movement during night. Can be controlled by a neural connection directly from the brain, and is the reason she can use her Requiem along with it, as the brain recognizes it as part of the body. Yes, she does not wear anything else inside, as it would be pointless. It is equipped with a 30cm blade on top of each backhand, and a corrosive dart launcher on the opposite side, just behind the bottom part of the wrist. The corrosive dart can melt flesh and metal alike. Stats: Ranged: 0 Insuta has no way to do anything from range whatsoever Close Quarters: 7 True to her style of dual wielding knives from her games, the obsidian blades she procures from her backhands are stable, durable, and sharp. They are still 40cm blades though.. Can be lethal if they hit the right body part, but will otherwise need repeated slashes to take down a foe. She does attack quite fast though. Mobility: 10 Her small size and weight, her ability to fly, and her Requiem all give her incredible mobility and ubiquitus presence. For all you know, she could suddenly disappear and reappear on the other side of the area. Defense: 0 She is a fairy that wears nothing to protect her whatsoever, since it would be left behind shen she loads another location anyway. Excel Hyper: 2 Load State Requiem: Save / Load Insuta can save her location and state at any point, in a space/time "file". Also at any point, she can load her saved location, effectively making her appear there. Enabling her Excel Hyper, allows her to load her state too, either alone, or in addition to loading her location. This means that she will have the health and suit condition she had when she had saved that state. After she has loaded to a saved location, the save file is overwritten by the location where she was at before loading. This means that if she does not manually save to another location, she can alternate between two points by just loading the last save. The location of the save files is only known by Insuta until blatantly revealed. Hypers:Overclocked Memory [3]: Insuta creates an additional save file. For every additional save file sustained after a total of two, the mental strain causes her to take damage over time. File Transfer [4]: By sacrificing a save file, Insuta can load the file's saved location on an ally, effectively teleporting him there. If used in combo with her Excel Hyper: LOAD STATE, she can also load an ally's state to what it was at the time of the save file. A save file is created where the ally originally was, for Insuta to use herself. Paralell Paradox [5]: Insuta calls upon her self of other save files. All save files are deleted. For every deleted save file, another Insuta appears on the file's location to assist in fighting. As long as Paralell Paradox is active, no saves, loads, or transfers can be done. When this Hyper is cancelled, the alter egos disappear and this time's Insuta suffers the total of all damage done to them. Interspacial Rift [6]: Insuta deliberately corrupts all her existing save files or alter egos. A time space rift happens between the locations of Insuta and all other files. Any enemies caught in the time/space distortion suffer heavy damage, as parts of their bodies are getting all kinds of messed up. "Hurts like hell" is an understatement. Load State [R]: Activating Load State, enables the next Load or Transfer to load the saved state, in addition to, or not, the saved location of a save file. Sounds pretty simple for an Excel Hyper, but if you think that you can essentially restore yourself or an ally to perfect condition with this if you have managed to preserve a file with full health over the course of the battle... Hello! After reading your RP's info i found it pretty interesting and potentially fun. I made this character after a long time concept i had on an ability. Feels great to (hopefully) be given the chance to try it somewhere. If anything seems too broken or undesirable in any way, please don't hesitate to tell me about it and i'll try to remedy it. P.S. Seems writing short backgrounds is an impossible task for me :S
  18. Also i'd like to add that while it is (maybe?) okay to write stuff in Cyrillic while also translating it to english, the title should have been english, for the sake of forum clarity.
  19. @Zarc No, this topic is not for directing here newcomers who ask information about the game in order to make them not ask again. They just need information, plain and simple. This is for us, older members, to actually give them the info they want instead of shooing them away with our behavior
  20. Peeking through the gaps between Suzie's rocks, Cathode sees, to her disappointment that the sableye had actually found a way to counter the barrage. And it would probably do so again and again. However... would it be able to do the same against an even more forceful Rock Tomb? "Humph" Cathode pouted "You are a smart meanie, I'll give you that... But you will return the mecha, and join my team too. Maybe will help you be less of a jerk. " "Another Curse Suzie! Let's give him something he won't be able to come out of unscathed!" [Suzie uses Curse] +1 Attack (+2 total) +1 Defense (+3 total) -1 Speed (-2 Total)
  21. Cathode watched in horror as the cunning sableye was too fast for clarence's small form trying to climb on Suzie. At least he fell into Suzie's lap. She immediately tried to tend to him, while at the same time instructing Suzie nervously. "Oh m- S-Suzie, don't let the meanie get away with it! He won't be able to protect himself for ever! Keep Rock Tombing until you hit him once! I-I'm so sorry Clarence, I can't do anything about your injury, but I" she closed and averted her eyes sideways, a bit more determined "promise that I will at least not fail in succeeding in my plan." She took out her Sporespray. "After Suzie hits him once, i'm spraying him. It is not completely accurate though, so if you are able, it would be good if you add a Sing in combo with me." [Suzie keeps using Rock Tomb for 130 power]
  22. Cathode looked around, but she expected a ghost type move anyway, so she was not surprised. She saw Clarence's worried and doubtful expression, and she figured it would be unfair if he were to pay his favor by getting severely damaged. "Do not worry Clarence, Zeta! Come with me, lets get on Suzie. Suzie, please cover us! And after that, use rock tomb around us ! The sableye is hiding in the shadows somewhere, its bound to get hit. He will surely be forced to come out and attack you while he is at it, but it will barely be a scratch for you!" Cathode jumped on Suzie, hoping for Clarence and Zeta do do the same. When they would follow the plan, Suzie would curl up around them, protecting them from every angle, and then Rock Tomb the surrounding area for 130 power.
  23. Cathode was shocked by the development, but upon seeing the sableye, she pouted, and was a mixture of annoyed and scared. "Y-you meanie! Give it back! It wasn't yours to begin with!" She knew enough about sableyes to know he would need more than just words to give up a prank, or whatever it was. "S-Suzie! This jerk stole something important and we need it back!" She said while clumsily throwing her luxury ball on the ground. Her style needed some work to say the least. Her trusted partner had heard clearly. And her apparent dislike for petty thieves (or anyone who would make Cathode sad) made her stare the sableye with apparent loathing. She couldn't wait to give him a piece of her mind. "He seems strong, but you are tough! This might take a while, so Curse up and be on guard! We need to size him up! I want to try and see if i can get him in an Aether Ball. Can you refrain from using any possible fairy moves on him please, Clarence?" Suzie, keeping a death stare on the Sableye, started glowing in an eerie red aura. [Activated Defender Lv.1] +1 Defense [Suzie used Curse] +1 Attack , +1 Defense (+2 Total), -1 Speed
