Ooof that's obviously a super advantage for the player. I can't fathom just how terribly hard some battles will be to justify such an ability!
-
"Uh?" Horace turned to the young girl noting the pointless obvious. "Yeah, I did, I don't see why is it worth mentioning." He then noticed the other girl nodding in approval on him. Seriously what is it with girls and my sunglasses?

Horace was glad James interrupted the ongoing conversations. He discreetly took his shades off and put them in his left inner pocket, without having to explain himself. He then walked into the elevator while staring at the man with a furrowed brow. "Are you sure you are the same person that took your sweet time before answering to my question the second time?"

Horace placed the forms om the assistant's desk. "Here, miss. thanks for pretending to not listen before. You should know better than me that you simply can't escape paperwork when it's looking for you." He then paced to the elevator, where he stood and waited.

Horace had absentmindedly taken the form from the suddenly appearing-disappearing girl without muttering much more than "Ah, sure." The seconds were passing and he was getting no reply. His hosts might as well be asleep standing. Behind him people were introducing themselves in varied ways. Was this a school class or something? Sigh. He turned around to have a better look at the others. They were of various ages, ranging from barely adult to around his own age. One of them mentioned a surname he was sure he had heard somewhere but who cares. "Possible fellow colleagues i reckon? Well for those who will be taken along with possibly me, it would be useful to call me Horace." He then turned back around and asked the hosts again, "Ahem, I am sorry if i spoke in a too low voice the first time, but... to whom do I hand this-er.. these complete forms over?"

Cannons and shell aside, Blastoise's signature move, seems to be Skull Bash, as far as nintendo is concerned. So we might see that one in action too.

Horace was strained, with a tortured expression in his face. He hated paperwork. Yet ye was dealing with one right now. Should he only include his handgun in the question asking about possible weapons of choice? Should he include Magnum too? He trained with, and used him as a gun much more often than his regular one. Should he include his paintball activities in the practical experience section? They were just an unofficial entertainment activity, but it had helped a lot as far as he was concerned. Rhythmic bulging movements felt on his hip betrayed that Magnum was fast asleep in his coat's inner pocket. Lucky bastard. He wished the roles were reversed sometimes. Eventually with some "nnnghh" followed by a "Whatever! Might as well!" he decided to fill those in as well and let them work their questionable magic. In the meantime of all this he could swear he heard someone announcing something towards his general vicinity but he was too focused on the form to pay attention. He stood up, paper on hand. An inkay's antics attracted his attention momentarily, though he shrugged and walked towards his hosts. Pokemon doing pokemon stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. "Excuse me," he asked as he approached, dressing their general area but no one specifically, "to whom i give this completed form?"

Look who is here, i totally delayed posting in order to bump this thread when it would slide to the 2nd page Why sadly? I find her character, and that whole part generally interesting. Meanwhile tons of people just cringe at Nim for some reason. I find her a good comic relief. does she still have that phone? 9 years and counting here. Still playing Starcraft 2. Laptops can last a long time if you take care of them. You always do manage to get into these binds. Well think positively, it's not a d**k joke this time! Taking aside what you said next, This issue could be remedied by the simply fucking stop making wild pokemon be so low levlel. Make them be very close or even match the levels your team should be at that point. It would help tremendously. See Tourmaline desert, having pokemon that you can readily catch and use in the next 2 gyms with zero training, like excadrills, krookodiles, marcellos, cacti, its so damn convenient, and their high levels also provide good exp for your existing team. High level wild mons is what i'd do in my game and i consider it totally cool. And if a pokemon should have evolved by that point, then it would be evolved. No more of those level 32 Zubats and stuff. Inconsistent ability aside, it doesnt matter much when you oneshot 90% of the game. Also charlotte done in 3 rock slides makes you just love the bird. Make that like 3 for me. ------------ About Aelita, i never really got triggered by her as much as you did, but then again i never really questioned things that deeply. The whole lighter/anime-er(?) atmosphere of rejuv, drives you away from trying to think these things too much , for the sake of having fun. It generally seems that the least deeply you think about the games you play, the more you enjoy them. And when you return tired from work every night, you tend to do just that. Its good to read playthroughs of this nature, as they serve as the eye-opener for people like me. They would be pointless in canon games with their shallow stories (gen 5 excluded), but here the creators put actual effort in the story so such feedback is worth it. ------------- I wish most roadblocks worked the same. Gen 1 kinda worked this way for the most part after Cerulean. Nowadays many seem so forced. It seems every major character in this region has technological knowledge. Hell even a braixen has. The wings look pretty dysfunctional. And following the stupidity of evil teams over the last 20 years, it doesn't surprise me they still use them. I was thinking of adding at least one situation if i made a game, where you are just surrounded by hordes of enemies, and just fight a continous stream of randomly generated battles until you finally get defeated. I might have even added an achievement on how much you managed to last. If you say it many times maybe you will believe it, you must be thinking. "Fun" part coming on ahead. Can't wait for the rants. Which is the latest part of the game you have ever reached you said?

Well you are being realistic which is good. At this point we have passed to the phase where we appreciate if something offers a fresh shade of the same base rather than something extraordinarily original. Yours seem to have elements that offer that freshness. I just wish ppl would stray abit from the whole badge get evil team fight but it has been successful so far so that's something at least. I'm positive towards it and will definitely play episode 1.

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

After figuring she was to go on her own, Cathode don't stay to loiter. Reaching where Kai was, she found no one, and a hole in the room was suspiciously implying the other girl's destination, especially after noticing that her signal was now lost too. It seemed pretty steep but if Kai could go down there why not her too? She was partially wrong. Just after halfway, she slipped and tumbled down the rest of the hole, falling painfully flat on her ass. Groaning, she shakily stood up and gazed around the new place. -
Hey, I wanna give you props for giving Reshiram-Amy's Lapras Perish Song in doubles (not sure if in Zekrom too).
It fits her butthurt character so much, like "even if I don't win, you won't either" and she goes almost always for it! And then spams protect to ensure it goes through!
And it makes the peak of the battle even more interesting because suddenly apart from just a strong ace you have to deal with a hard time limit too!

Pokemon Reborn Redux [Mod][E18.71 Version Released]

my answer to everything regarding flexibility: yay. major fights that benefit from their sweeper being kept for last, should do so though, even if the sweeper is not an ace. like for example, samson could be keeping his hawlucha for last, same for fern and serperior. I thought about it a bit and i realized that not many major opponents actually have a real sweeper anyway. -

"I-I am worried about the others, since they are not on the map anymore, and we would eventually go to that room with everyone in the end anyway, since what the absol was guarding was most probably the exit." Cathode decides to go to Kais location -

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]

Cathode had returned a fully healed-up Suzie, entered the crack, and then released her back out. She had witnessed the spectacle that unfolded before her, and had heard Zeta's approach on the matter. Cathode was a practical person who didn't believe in something so trifling as faith and wishes being able to cause miracles. But then again, Zeta had spent her entire live in such a world, where so many supernatural things already were facts. That shard might even contain psychic energy for all they knew, and be able to react to the stirrings of other people's minds. This approach was scientific enough for her to actually not think of this whole endeavor as pointless. She still wanted to be covered from various angles on this though. If the shard needed life then... "Clarence, if all the shard needs is a burst of life, maybe you could try Heal Pulsing it and see what happens? In the meanwhile i will try the wishing method." She tried to familiarise the shard in her mind, make a mental connection between her and it. And then wished, no, willed for "life", while various scenes that traditionally interpret the concept of life, coursed through her mind. -

Cathode was relieved she didn't have to stop Betani herself. She was not good with that stuff. "Yes, b-besides, the Absol might let us pass peacefully if we sort out the problem in here. It didn't look entirely hostile, and it guided us in the right direction. A-also thank you for the revive." she said bowing her head slightly. "And nice to meet you too, Unoppiae!" She released Suzie, and used the revive oh her. The big snake slowly darted her eyes open, and looked around. She was taken aback by the sudden appearence of much more people than she remembered last time, but calmed down upon seeing they were familiar faces. She tensed up once more though when she saw the sablelye. It was Cathode's turn to calm her down this time. "Don't worry, he is now one of us, she said showing her the Aether Ball for emphasis. He will probably not try anything funny from now on. Are you okay Suz?" Suzie looked at Cathode with a combination of an embarassed and apologetic face while hanging her head. "It's alright," she said while putting her hand on her side. "For what it's worth, you ended up opening the path, which helped us reach Emmanuel and Radovan just in time to help. Just try to not let your emotions put you in danger next time okay? I was worried back there." "Can you Heal Pulse her to full, please, Clarence? I will need to return her afterwards in order to pass through the crack." -

Cathode was happy to meet the other guys. She was still worried about the disaster thing though. And Suzie was still out cold. "How did your exploration go, guys?" She turned to Betani and Uno "Mrs Betani, and . uhmm e-excuse me, what's your name, miss? Would you happen to have any spare Revive? Suzie is fainted and it seems we are about to break into a probably d-dangerous area." After the apparence of the Sableye and seeing it being frightened, Cathode contemplated on whether it would be a good idea to release the sableye they had caught from the pokeball. They had captured what would potentially be its friend. On the other hand, she remembered that he was overprotective of Zeta, so he might think twice before doing anything that would endanger her. Weighing the two options she, walked behind the crowed and decided to release the little prankster. "Hey there, we may have had our differences, but we both want to keep Zeta safe. So try to keep your friend over there from causing any unnecessary trouble, will ya?" She told him. -

Cathode accompanied the others back. She then told to Emm, "Nice deduction skills back there, tehee~ at least one of us got it right." She then slumped, "Though it does feel weird, willingly walking towards a disaster." -

"R-Radovan, i think approaching more won't be a good idea. " She puts her hand on Zeta's shoulder and gently, without force, pushes it backwards, as if urging her to take some steps back, and places herself in front of her. "Ok we get it. No passing" -At least not without a battling it out- "and... we mean no harm" she said, recalling the sableye. she would release it again on the first sign of an unavoidable fight. "Whatever you are warning us about is somewhere... below us? " She points to the ground. "That passage leads to a lower level and we better not go there?" -

"W-whaaat? They were not the sa-" Cathode's surprised outburst was interrupted by the appearence of their new host. An Absol with questionable intents. "H-hello there.." Why would an absole which was apparently not immediately hostile would stand in the way of what was obviously an exit out of this set of caverns? Absol was known as the disaster pokemon, appearing as a warning of a potential disaster. That would mean.... "...There is something pretty dangerous behind that passage... right?" -

Upon hearing the question, Cathode realised she had practically done nothing much. She slumped and replied not so enthusiastically, "...we tried to explore the caves, we ended up finding the mechamon, then a sableye that tricked us and stole it, and then all we did was wandering about, having the prankster ambush us and then escape again, only to find oursves here. At least now he is caught. Speaking of which," She summoned the Sableye from the ball. The prankster was lied down, still sleeping. Of course. She looked at his sleeping form, a gentle smile on her face. At the end of the day, she couldn't hate a pokemon. But that changed nothing. She smirked at Clarence. "You will probably enjoy this. How about we give him a shocking wake up and start the rehabilitation class of 'you won't be a jerk anymore'?
