  1. Yeah i agree with the people above, debugging EV or even IV is kinda acceptable cuz its basically a time game, meaning you can reach the ideal IV by hunting and resetting that mon over and over and getting EV by fight pkmn with the corresponding EV that you wish (Imagine killing 252 Pidgey for speed EV for 1 pokemon), the whole thing is very time consuming hence why we use debug to speed up the process. But to Debug Pokemon or Item that you cannot reach at that time of the game is kinda bad practice, i mean the point of it all is to give you a challenge while using limited choice of pokemon and item, It's a different story if you debug mon for challenge run such as monotype run or debugging mystery egg, in the specific case of monotype we just debug starter pokemon which type is not accessible as a starter, for example Ice type or electric type and complete the run normally from there. its definitely possible to complete it on normal set mode, i manage to complete it multiple times in Intense Monotype run(Set Mode and No Item), there are even some crazy guy that manage too complete an Intense Nuzlocke run of this game (which also Set mode with no item)
  2. I beat this fight in my Mono Flying run in Intense with Max Speed EV Butterfree, with CompoundEyes and Sleep Powder, then switch to Altaria and just end him with 3 dragon breath
  3. Very well said, You capture the Essence perfectly, Intense is kinda reserved for people who actually passionate about the battle aspect of pokemon, it forced you explore lots of strategies that you wouldn't even begin to think of in normal pkmn run, of course not everything is perfect here, there some battle that need a pretty niche win condition/rng, of course that is depends on your run/restrictions(Like Saki, E15 geara, Kawpodonga?) but the point is that you cant just slap a team of random six pokemon and unga bunga it, this mode demands you to think and strategize. That's why i kinda sad that some people complains a lot about Intense mode, the whole point of this mode is to push everything to the limit and was meant to be hard and almost unfair, if you want to just see the story and not bother with the battle then just set it to easy/normal mode, no need to get butthurt over it just because of you can't finish a battle and it hurt your pride, and even if you cant beat a certain battle in intense, there many guides and strategy in the forum/youtube to help you. well that's just my take, personally i'm kinda sad that intense is gone, i actually love the bullshit strategy that the enemy throws at you makes overcoming it all the more worthwhile, but we gotta respect the dev decision, besides the endgame in normal mode is actually hard enough to be passable as intense, that saki fight in normal mode is gonna totally wreck you if you go in blind lol.
  4. Makes me curious about amethyst the previous champion win rate
  5. Probopass Crest, Probopass is already a strong wall+ thunder wave setter and with free levitate it cover probopass weakness really well, and it enables us to make use of sand force rather than sturdy to boost probopass disastrous atk, it also compliment really well with sand team as you can EQ without worry. its one of my key pokemon in my Steel monorun as it can work as a Tank while dealing some good damage, provided sandstorm is up

    e19 when

Man i shudder to imagine the amount of testing needed and countless potential bug when this version came out, even rejuv needs a few months to iron out those bugs and thats only amounted to 1 version, and here we have 5 version worth on content, its gonna be a looong roller coaster

    e19 when

So this journey is almost over then, its been 5 years since i play this game, man what a ride
  8. Bless you good sir, also this is just my opinion but i think it would be easier to see if you group up the type that is not available in that version
  9. It's not that much of a menace, the one that actually makes it hard is the AI, as it will always knows when to use king shield and when it knows that there is a move that will OHKO it will switch out instantly, so its more tedious rather than hard, fought this in intense with set and no item like 4 times, and the best way is still to bring pokemon with magical seed to get that free king shield and use that turn to either set up or 2 hit it with or just bring intimidate inceneroar/arcanine and will o wisps Reborn's Titania gym battle also use the same tactic with her Aegislah so its nothing new tbh
  10. Grass or poison has a lot of variety in early game, but the easiest has to be water, i dont know why but rejuv has a lot of water encounter in almost every chapter, other than that dark and flying is also pretty fun, the hardest to monorun is steel and dragon it doesn't have much encounter until mid to end game
  11. Personally i really like this update, The Story is more fluid and most characters actually has personality now and not only there for plot convenience, some latest reveal like Rune is Puppet master seems kinda forced though and the whole thing with Kiearan and Clear is too much info dump for 1 chapter, maybe throw some hints here and there in the previous chapter but some of the rework Stories like Melia's Death, Goldenleaf Town and Blacksteeple castle has massive improvement and feels more complete and have more substances. The difficulty is also get massive up cuz of AI which in my opinion is a great thing, hard fights in intense always has been rejuvenation selling point, but there is some battle that are more frustrating rather than hard (Freakin oversized whale....) and Saki is just plain fuckery lol but i do agree with some people in this forum that this kind difficulty is appropriate for endgame. Boss pokemon with shield is a nice addtion to difficulty, but kinda hit or miss on some fights, for example it makes Rift Gyarados becomes more challenging which is nice but it makes already almost broken Kowapudunga and Rift Hipowdown much more harder, at first i thought this feature was really bad cuz burn and poison did absolutely nothing to chip away the shield but its nice that they patch that and its more managable now. Contrary to people here i really didn't feel something wrong for the item management though, sure having many focus sash/ choice item early is great but it kinda makes the game too easy, its more fun too beat those guys with full item and unfair IV with the the limited item that we have and some big brain strategy ,at least the sense of accomplishment is higher rather than just slap a team full of choice item and focus sah and Through out the game we are given some seed to counter opponents field so difference in item not really an issue, just try not to be lazy and read the field and use that itemfinder lol. and honestly unfair fight, item, EV and Pokemon is a staple in these kind of Fan Game so i don't know what others are complaining about, but hey that's just me. All in all i love this update, its really worth the wait, there are awesome things and also dissapointing things but thats just how the way it is, you cant just create something that well received by everyone ,they are bound to be some hit and miss whether in balancing or story content. For me it was a really incredible game though, Thank you for Rejuvenation Team for bringing this update really outdone yourself with it.
  12. I mean give your self some leeway like Limited Save Scumming for every major battle, 2 encounter per area and free static encounter or allowed item and no set mode, the intense is hard unless your strategy is foolproof you're bound to lose at least 1 mon per major battle and considering the lack of area in early game you'll lose mon fast
  13. There is a bug for this den, if you choose to offer all 15k it wouldnt work, try just offering 1000, it works for me
  14. Should be for all fight though? Not sure myself cause i havent reach Axis Ruin Geara in my newest Playthrough in patch 13.0.4, but for Narcissa it no longer read held item
  15. The AI actually got fixed in newer version, it no longer read held item, so chesto berry lead is viable strategy
  16. Not Sure in these new version cuz still havent tested it but, in 13.0.2, the overlay is bugged, tested it with AOD gardevoir by setting up Misty Field which should nullify status move, but she can still put my pokemon to sleep with lovely kiss
  17. I actually cant remember Virtual gym leader being hard lol even in intense, the only one that is very threatening is Karen when doing the elite 4, really need some great rng to bypass that Umbreon. Then again i pick cyndaquil as my starter not sure about the others
  18. I think it only happens to a handful of computer, it happen to me too, if i set the speed to above 2.0x it will crash at the start of a battle
  19. Cinderace is nice, Great speed and physical, Pyro Ball hits like a truck, But kinda limited in movepool in early to mid game. Basically have same problem with gredninja but it has access to its stonger stab right of the bat
  20. yep its a bug, try dumping just 1000, it works for me
  21. It really caught me off guard the first time and really lazy to train another pokemon to specifically counter her team and gimmick so i kinda Destiny Bond + Revive on all of her team after much frustration. Not my proudest moment but hey as long as it get the job done. Now how to beat her with my own steel monotype in intense...
