Going through this hell with none other than:

@Sayia A Rain Dance team? From a random trainer? I think I'm starting to regret.
@DreamblitzX Good times = Torture times?

Sage Kiki's lecture (Heed this words for the branching paths):

"The Art of Void"
"Void is the acknowledgement of that which cannot be known. It is the understanding that all ideas are themselves fallible.
For that reason, this principle cannot be taught; only considered. Many people believe that some things are "right" and "correct"
and others are not. But these are not the laws of the world. When examining this ideas objectively, one finds that they are in themselves
a deviance from the broader sense of existence. Concepts such as "virtues" or "evil" must not be given way to exist, for this is not the true void.
By perceiving that which exists, learn to perceive that which does not. All things, even this instruction, must be questioned."

Okay... the music in Apophyll Beach is snatching the best music in Reborn title. To Greater Heights is shaking.

@Zarc Good taste! I also love those two especially the celestine cascade theme.
-
@Magus Also a good remix even though it triggers my trauma with that god forsaken desert.

Um, if this hasn't been said before, I will say it now. The best music in Reborn is undoubtedly, the indoor gym music. The title, To Greater Heights by GlitchxCity. Search it, play it, loop it, respect it.

I was actually informed just now that Azurill is in fact, a normal/fairy type. All along I thought it was a water/fairy type. When did this happen.

I think a great touch for Reborn's Gym Leaders is that if there aces were shinies. Some leaders have them (Like Shade's Mimikyu) and I thought why not all of them? I think it would suit there aces more, considering it is their strongest mon. It would make their aces more emphasized and intimidating to battle in my opinion.

I kinda have this impression that leaders are "special" trainers and their aces are their "special" pokemon. So while it would stray away from the theme of shinies in general, I think leaders get a pass from that considering what their title holds for them. Especially in Reborn where shinies are close to common, I think it suits perfectly. But yeah maybe on the canon side, it would be questionable.

Just finished USUM... in all honesty:
SpoilerMaqqycritic: 2/5
Sorry guys, I just basically played SM again. It's expected yes because it is an enhanced version.. but it failed to keep interest. Rainbow Rocket felt like a filler story and was just there. Catching UB's in their respective habitats, traveling in wormholes, its hard difficulty and Ultra Necrozma are the highlights and that is it. USUM are just in fact, DLCs.
Thoughts: Pokemon Switch needs to step up. I'd be lying if I said I'm not expecting BOTW and Odyssey levels of good because honestly I would be very disappointed if it doesn't. I would very much appreciate it, if GameFreak would realize that majority of their fans grew up with the games and doesn't need anymore hand holding and mediocre gameplay. It's for kids? Then add a difficulty mode (It has been long overdue seriously). I loved SM, so I have a little bit of hope. I have fan games like Reborn to thank you because without them, my love for Pokemon would've dwindled entirely.

A small detail:
SpoilerIn Reshiram path, Taka's death came of as a surprise because I didn't see an Absol beforehand. A minor detail yeah, but maybe it was intentional? Maybe it isn't considered a disaster? Idk.

SpoilerYeah they were both crazy but I think they showed some of their real "darker" selves in that path. Ultimately the important thing was the truth was out, no matter how brutal it was. Though I really believe after this, things will get better for them because they finally let go of each other
can't say for Amaria though because the girl is wack -

Just finished E17~ Now updated my team roster

Summary of playthrough:
Spoiler- I got the Reshiram route (ho ho) just because I didn't want to fight Taka in WTC. Figured that to really help him, I needed to give him the push that he needs to leave Team Meteor, even if he would be targeted as a result. Hoping it would reflect on Titania too to relinquish her toxic relationship with Amaria. Both of those things HAPPENED and I am happy. I've read the topics regarding the ending of both routes and... I am satisfied with mine. Even though Taka eventually dies, I felt like the time he spent with me was worth it for him. Titania and Amy broke up and it NEEDED to happen. It might've turned out ugly (this binch Amaria literally tried to kill me seriously) I still choose this outcome more over the Zekrom one because staying in a comfortable escape will only prolong the inevitable truth.
- The Tourmaline desert is hell itself reincarnated. I never want to go there again. Beautiful desert but its very... very.... big.
- I am now looking forward to battling Lin. That girlie is the most scariest character in the game. Her and Anna are the ones I am excited to battle.
- Titania's gym is the most beautiful gym I have ever seen. As of yet, hers is the best one.
- Amaria has taken the seat for the most challenging / difficult / 99999 reset gym leader of Reborn as of now. Her Mons for doubles? They can choke.
- The music in Amaria's underwater gym is FIRE.

Highlights for this ep: Getting my Magikarp and Gible, Amy and Tania's breakup and obtaining the mega-z ring
yeah boi
.... Overall E17 felt a little short but the content is incredible. Having a branch story makes the game a whole lot more interesting. Now to wait for E18.... time to sleep for years

SpoilerI got Reshiram path, too and I'm happy with my choice. It's unfortunate that Taka had to die, but the relationship between Titania and Amaria wasn't particularly good for either one.
It's odd to me how people still keep thinking there's an objectively "right" and "wrong" choice to make: the way I see it is you (the player) has to choose between two bad alternatives (which do have some advantages over each other).
Have you found all the caves and secret areas the desert has to offer?
-
SpoilerExactly. There are no "right" or "wrong" choices. Destiny is pre-determined. There are just two (or maybe multiple) paths. The choices the player makes just sets it's course. I wouldn't call it "bad" I think it's just... neutral. Nonetheless, I don't regret any decisions I made in the game.
Taka's death was very unfortunate but given to what his actions costs a lot of lives, I think it was his redemption and I really believe he is now at peace (which he really wanted). Tania and Amy's breakup HAD to happen. Who knows it may happen in Zekrom path too but the earlier the better, even if it ended ugly. Hopefully by the end they stay on good terms with one another.
The Desert.. I don't even want to remember. I did get all event mons there, some TM's and also explored Teknite and Suguline but not whole. I would go back to explore more of it definitely...
hopefully
