  1. I also think it's broader than that - in order for the sanctum to save Aevium, five sacrifices must be made, and more specifically, the player must soothe five souls. Keta's was calmed a long long time ago, and recently by curing Aelita of Vivian's Madness, her's to some extent was too. I don't think the shrine is necessarily only related to Aelita's family (though that's now the track record) and includes three more souls to be soothed. My guess is Marianette/Indriad has got to be at least one, since Gardevoir has been subdued in the past.
  2. Ayyy I'm doing this too, just... very slowly. It will take you a long time but it's certainly fun! Memorize where the good items are and you'll be in a good spot. Most fun so far has been Ghost or Steel for me.

      It was mine too lol.

Get Trick Room up, let Marowak go ham.

Then when it goes down, let Gengar clean up what was left.

      Rarely failed.

  5. synthetic seed glitch field Palossand is OP .-.

    1. SilverAngelus

      SilverAngelus

      Spoiler

Terra's Pallosand in the glitch field isn't that bad compared to the Rawr Pokemon she summons last. :/ That Pokemon always went first and wrecked my team a bunch of times. >_>

Yeah you're totally right, Terra got too good this update .0.

    3. Dreamy

      Dreamy

Quagsire felt worse than palossand with amnesia boosting special attack and defense by 2 stages, and unaware blocking anything set up with attack boosts

  6. Well, there goes Luna. I feel like Ghost is gonna be relatively smooth sailing from here (especially now that Overheat Life Orb Chandelure is on board!)

  7. I've been playing since... V3 or V4, and I think the development itself is particularly cool because it's cool to see how Jan + devs increase the quality in old areas in every release. Somewhat annoying when I have to reset over and over .-. but it's totally worth it because the game is great. As far as the game itself, I think each episode is so unexpected and varied that it makes it a fun time throughout.
  8. Got Serra, first try!!! Bennett's Butterfree on the other hand, we don't wanna talk about...

I guess I didn't even think about having Mismagius on my team. Huh.

  10. So, in E17 there's an egg in the southwest part of Jasper Ward's Malchous forest after Tangrowth #2 is defeated. So far I've heard of Nincada, Stantler, Deerling, and Skiddo being available here. Has anyone else found anything other than these four?

      Nope that's it.

  12. Finally got around to watching Pokemon I Choose You. What started out pretty great turned into the same plot +/- 10% as the last few films and whatever it had going was slowly lost...

  13. Anyone know off hand if anything repeatable before Corey can burn you? Trying to cheese Corey with Flare Boost Drifblim lmao...

    1. Gentleman Jaggi

      Gentleman Jaggi

Shuppet at Beryl Cemetery? I think those are repeatable and they learn Will o Wisp at Lv. 16. Provided they still show up there in E17.

Other than that... somebody at Grand Hall is bound to have a Fire Type. I remember both Fennekin and Charmeleon from E16.

I ended up just winning but for the sake of talking about it - ghost mono, so i'd already caught the Shuppet. Maybe if i was clever enough to catch it after getting burned that would've worked lmao.

  14. Contrary Serperior is arguably pretty good (leafstorm and high speed), so it makes sense to some degree. Raising a Overgrow Snivy as you play however is pretty difficult.
  15. It's absolutely active, though I kinda realized I prefer the earlygame over late so I have like 4 or 5 runs that aren't at the circus yet but in progress. I'll update the status thread eventually but I'll be without my main PC for a month so I can't make progress on those... Just started ghost on this PC though, so that's neat.
  16. Noted Is this the same slot as the Seel/Cacnea one? if anyone can confirm if it's in addition to or replacing that'd help Noted Noted Got that It's still there, only 7% encounter now. Got it (i thought i recorded this already?) A-ditto???? Heatmor should be in the basement of Pyrous... is it not? Noted.
  17. Quote function isn't working for me right now, but referring to @2awk4u's response above... I mostly agree with this, having played the Zekrom path. This episode alone was perhaps more muted because of my choice, but hey? Taka is still alive and able to sabotage Meteor from within, Amaria isn't trying to kill us, and Titania is maintaining her illusion still. What this likely means is just that the future will allow us different story altogether, so I'm not too worried that this episode didn't give me much dialogue.
  18. Good point, almost makes him more sympathetic you'd think. Clearly he's wrong, clearly his methods are wrong, but he's just trying to expunge evil from his daughter.
  19. If you could that'd be great. I updated it yesterday to encounters (up to the E17 content itself) but haven't done events yet for the most part.
  20. Yeah, there's six down there. I kinda sat there in shock for a minute when I was playing the beta just realizing how well thought out that moment was for Ame to make. Well done for sure.
  21. We still don't really know what Lin's deal is, though judging by the Laura Tanzan Depths path in one timeline/alternate universe/whatever we know that Lin is simply a horrible person, through and through. Whether that's Sigmund's fault or not, I guess we'll have to see still, but I don't really think given what we know/have seen that she can be redeemed. Sirius? Yeah fuck you Sirius. He seems to enjoy his contract -- he says Fiore Mansion would be the second house he's had to burn down like it was some kind of twisted joke. I don't see redemption for him either. Sigmund? Not exactly Meteor, but worth talking about. It seems like he says some twisted sense of righteousness coupled with the death of his... sister? that might almost make us think his heart is in the right place in spite of what he did so wrong to the orphans. IIRC he has ship points unlike the above two aswell so maybe things might be redeemable for Sigmund. Solaris? Sure. I think he's probably the most gray area of them all, being manipulated or worse by Lin, but it seems like he's really just doing what his family has had to for generations without really questioning it too much. I suspect there'll be some kind of Solaris-tries-to-stop-Lin-but-its-too-late-and-he-dies moment but who knows. Taka? I'm on the Zekrom path and heard about the other path, so I can't really comment on that one for apparent reasons. What I do think, and thought by choosing to battle him in WTC, is that he can operate as either the conscientious objector or the saboteur within Meteor, whichever doesn't get him nixed in this path. Obviously everything between the Titania-Taka-Us triangle already asked the question regarding him, but he's certainly redeemable nonetheless. ZEL? Well, it seems like Zero is a savage and agrees wholly with Meteor, so I guess we'll have to see with him. Lumi is calculating but probably in a similar boat to Flobot morality wise, and Eve is clearly supposed to be good. Are they even still alive? I know we saw Zero come out of "devon" but not those two. Elias? As you may or may not know, I kinda despise religious fanatics that would use that as their justification for their actions, especially those taking away civil rights, and it seems like Elias is just that at times. Yet, it seems like all he's PERSONALLY done is wanted his daughter back and tried to get his apprentice an elite four position (though likely unethically), so idk. He might have a perfectly sound redemption arc or be controlled by the powers he seeks to possess. Then again he tried to... sacrifice...? Luna, so maybe not. He seems like he is grateful to the lord for his sight and so perhaps obligation drives him, which I could see turning against him and making him see reason again. As for the grunts, again, I don't know. Some probably drank Solaris' Kool-Aid and some seek power Lin can bring to the table, others simply want a place in the new world. I don't think the grunts for the most part are evil on their own.
