Hi everyone! I just finished Where Love Lies, with the true ending, and I must say, what an incredible game! I wasn't expecting that this version would have so much content, and such a beautiful story. First things first, I feel like this game made me finally have some kind of connection with Kenneth (or Keta), and I'm sad now to think about how he is already dead at the point of the game I'm at. I feel like when that arc happened in Pokémon Rejuvenation, his death didn't hit me like now, due to this game. But, to be honest, that part of the game was so long ago, so much as happened since then, that I really don't remember much of that arc of the plot. I think I'm not the only one that feels so bad for Kenneth too, because he was such a nice guy, he just wanted the best for other people, but due to the red-haired girl, his life was ruined, and he became "broken" in the end. This is one of the problems I have with the game. I found really odd how, in the true ending, the red-haired girl begins to say how she choose him randomly, and she didn't have anything against him, her real motive was related to Taelia, then to manipulate him to kill himself, just because her job was done (?). Like, I really don't get it. I understand the 2 situations separated, but not together, with the same character (I hope I made myself clear). Also, why did she took so long to try to kill him (she made him feel guilty of Taelia and Nora's death, but she didn't do anything else in over one decade)? I also don't understand why she didn't care about him, because he was just a test subject, why she wanted him to die so badly. It's because of her that his life becames even worse, when he finally gets in good relationship with his brother, but then he just dies. In the end she kind of just gives up that idea, but it's interesting to think about it. It also makes me a bit unconfartable to think that in another timeline, Taelia killed Kenneth at such a young age. That scene from chapter 2 really made me question some things in their relationship. That blind girl was also a bit cruel if you ask me, because she knew what Kenneth was going through, but when he started to hallucinate, and tried to kill her (when, in reality, he really didn't want to), she just made him fell to his death, WHICH MADE HIS LIFE EVEN WORSE. I really feel for Kenneth, he went through so much, just to be seen has the "Sensei who didn't care about others", when he really cared, and because of that his life on earth became hell. I also find it a bit mean when that blind girl never helps him after that, she knew that sepating his soul with his body was a bad idea, but never tried to help him after that. But well, in the end, I think this game really had a great story, and the true ending made me tear up (and I never thought a Pokémon Game would do that to me). I'm glad I played this game, atleast for the experience, but the information given to us in this game is also very important for the "normal" game. I must say that before playing this game, I didn't cara that much about Kenneth and Aelita, but now I'm so invested in their story, and Keta might be one of my favourite characters in the game. I think it's also fair to say, that I really disliked how Kenneth could never restore his relationship with Tesla. It's really a shame After this game, I felt like the creators were really cruel with Kenneth, he didn't deserve it =/ (well, don't take this to seriously, I don't mean that they're cruel, I'm just expressing how I feel about Kenneth's story and has a character). Btw, I didn't think that Mewtwo was that helpful in the game, he can only be used in the last battle of the game, and Kenneth's brother is a Dark Type used, so... Yeah, Mewtwo just did nothing in my playthrough. What are your opinions on this? I would really like to read them! And thank you for reading this GIANT post!
So, I've been playing "Where Love Lies" before moving on with my adventure in Pokémon Rejuvenation. I know there are 2 endings for this game, and I really want to have the true ending, but I'm not seeing any kind of "tutorial", because I don't want to receive any spoilers! I know that, in order to have the true ending, we need to have some specific items (I don't know which are though). So, I wanted to know if I can use my shiny stone to evolve my roselia (he's really strong, and I don't even now how), or that item is important for the game. I've found some evolutionary items, and I begin to think that I'm supposed to use them. I'm already at the final chapter, and I feel like I should prepare my team for some hard battles. Also, will I ever find a Fire Stone? I wanted to use that shiny Vulpix, but it's a bit weak now, because all of the other Pokémon are fully evolved. Could you help me? Thanks for the time and for the help! Note: I'm I the only one that found a wild shiny in this game, and couldn't catch it? I was so frustated. It was a shiny Eevee! AND EEVEE IS MY FAVOURITE POKÉMON. YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME GAME! (it was in chapter 2, because now, for some reason, I have an ultra ball, but I don't know if it will be useful)
