Technically you can get Hydreigon and lemme tell you, that boi is power. Put in work against Adrienn despite the massive type disadvantage, put in work vs Titania by hard countering her Aegislash, swept Amaria 6-0. Gotta use an exploit to get it but it's great.

Just cool shit I like. Ever since E17, Garchomp has been on all but one of my runs, as it's my absolute favourite Pokemon and I really never get tired of using it. I try to go for -some- type balance but it doesn't matter too much.

My levels of Amaria memery have degenerated to this point. It 6-0'd her on it's own. No field changes, no status effects laid on the lead by other Pokemon. Just Excadrill. Fucking love this Pokemon.

Emboar fits Victoria to a T. The fire typing to link with her admiration of Cal, the fighting typing that her status as Kiki's student demands and of course it's hidden ability; Reckless. If charging in with no plan isn't Victoria.png, I don't know what is.

> No Alola Marowak >>No Gengar >>> No Cofagrigus Huge waste tbh. Those are 3 of Mono Ghosts' cornerstone Pokemon. Highly suggest getting at least Marowak. Marowak under trick room is near unstoppable.

Pretty boring honestly. Find Fern and Cain to be miles better in terms of character writing and actually being a rival.

Early game Talonflame may suck but I and many others can say for sure that Talonflame is absolutely amazing when used right. Between Priority Tailwind, strong stab moves to makeup for low attack and work up+roost among other options, it's an amazing team support/glue. It takes a while to get to that point, but it's worth it imo.

Lin. Lin, Lin, Lin. Everybody's favourite green haired antagonist. I actually wouldn't dislike her as much if Solaris wasn't built up(and built up rather well)to be the main antagonist for the first half of the game. Like you've got this dude that's able to take on one of the strongest gym leaders in the region with a MASSIVE type disadvantage, then proceed to hype tf out of him by showing that he could literally beat everyone at Pyrous Mountain on his own with just his Garchomp. It's then show that his son is Taka, the friendly Meteor that's been bailing your ass out again and again. He's given a goal that later turns out to be understandable if anything else; he wants to bring the ruins his family kept under the city back to glory, a site that was built over without his permission soon after his parent's death at that. Most of his more positive traits are informed attributes through Taka, showing that he was if nothing else, a family man. In my eyes he has many traits of a well built up main antagonist. Then Lin gets revealed. Immediantly you go "Oh fuck." Why? Because she's stated to be the true leader of Team Meteor, implying that she's beyond even Solaris. This demotes the former 'Big Bad' into the Dragon. Which really only increases Meteor's threat level given that the Dragon was capable of going toe to toe with a high ranking gym leader while at a disadvantage and that his servant is a member of the Elite Four. And then literally nothing gets done with this hype. She just. Takes down a Steelix you've beaten 2 minutes prior and then vanishes off the face of the Earth until episode 16. The only real remarkable thing about her after this is that she spouts some of the most comically edgy lines I've ever seen. Oh yeah. And she's responsible for Taka's death. I just can't stand this character at all.

Just cuz it's still standing doesn't mean it's not fainted. It could just be barely standing up and Solaris hasn't returned it yet, etc. Hard to depict that with sprites this small, so it's left up to your interpretation.

I always imagined that Solaris just uses a Max Revive while everyone's chatting amongst themselves tbh.

I had to use another Pokemon to set up the field, but Excadrill 6-0'd her with absolute ease for me.

This is a strange nom since everyone knows Excadrill is a powerhouse. That being said I had no idea just how much this thing could trash fights. I genuinely believe Excadrill is easily the strongest Pokemon available in Reborn right now. It can in one way or another trash every single boss in the game, it's actually absurd that a Ground/Steel type ended up 6-0ing the Water Gym leader with little to no effort. Fighting, Fire, Ground and Flying type Gym leaders? Nothing in front of this monster. I love it. My second one would be none other than the Daddy Long Legs himself; I genuinely didn't think I'd come to like this Pokemon nearly as much as I did. After all, I only used it because of a bet. Then it curbstomped Tangrowth 1. And then it curbstomped Florinia. Then it curbstomped Tangrowth 2. Then it curbstomped Corey. Then it curbstomped Shelly Then it wiped Shade off the face of the earth. Then it wrecked ZEL. This stupid ass spider did all of that. It fell off yes, but the fact that it carried the early game that hard gives me nothing but respect. I still use it now because of the invaluable Sticky Webs it has.

You can say that about literally any Pokemon with a 4x weakness. Calling it 'extremely overrated' is downplaying just how brutally this thing sweeps. All it needs is 1 Pokemon without fire coverage and it has won. Simple as that. It's high bulk and near unrivalled combination of power and strong priority are what make it the best sweeper in the game.

And absolutely nobody was surprised.

Garchomp. Once labelled the "Perfect Pokemon" he's fallen from grace since, but man do I love this brutally strong all terrain land shark dragon thing. It's got a mixture of the god tier design, the competitive viability, the personal childhood fondness that turns a Pokemon into an all time favourite for me.
