  1. Not quite, Bug and Ice do share quite a few weaknesses so preparation for the latter actually comes in handy for the former, and its not like Bennets team is all that strong upon entry either, they're all set up sweepers that rely on quiver.
  2. oh boi. time for the worst field in the game to make it's appearance
  3. Js but If there is something I completely agree with him on, it's that the scene post gauntlet is unreasonable long. it's actually ridiculous lol. if you're not in the right state of mind, which is very possible given the battle before is typically frustrating for most(personally didnt have a hard time, was just awake really late)it can nearly all fly over your head.
  4. While samson is a fair point, let's not joke around and say luna poses a challenge regardless of that.
  5. Mostly agree on all points there but I'd like to elaborate on one I'm personally rather vocal about; These two used to be in very early during the older versions of Reborn and were moved back due to being among the better Pokemon of their types available, however in the current state of things they are kept obscenely far behind for very little obvious reasoning. At the point where you get Magmortar, you've already been able to get Arcanine, Ninetales, Typhlosion and Darmanitan for ages, all who are very big competitors. Unlike Electivire you can't even get it via mystery egg to possibly obtain it by Calcenon instead of trading a Magmarizer for a Magby who you can't even evolve. Electivire similarly has a lot of competition yet is still better because it offers things they don't. It has actual coverage, good stats, a good ability and a move it can abuse to maximise that ability; Ion Deluge. Vikavolt, A-Raichu, Magnezone, Rotom and Ampharos are all amazing but none of them have the combination of coverage, stats and ability that Electivire does. Magnezone outclasses it in terms of overall utility however. Either are Pokemon that would likely be very desireable if available earlier as Elekid/Magby, as Magmar/Electabuzz provide very mid range stats with good moves to utilise them and keep a team afloat. They'd fall off a bit nearing Agate and then hit a power spike when finally evolving into their final stage at Calcenon which mind you, is 11 badges into the game. That's more than reasonable for these Pokemon to be able to evolve.
  6. Sweeping Charlotte in 3 turns has become a Mono-run tradition between a couple of my friends, so I took it upon myself to do it on my Steel mono without Excadrill. Enjoy;

      Norm

It really do be like that sometimes. Fr though, seeds are a really slept on utility in Reborn.

  7. For Solaris or Terra you can put down Staraptor or Quagsire since that's their next strongest pokemon. Depends on who you put Garchomp for.
  8. 1 - Charizard It's a dragon. Fuck yeah. Doesn't help that Venusaur is an ugly stally bitch. Blastoise is close for design, but it sucks. Charizard really is the best of both worlds. 2. Typhlosion I love all 3 but Typh has the most nostalgia. 3. Sceptile not really a fan of gen 3, but Sceptile is awesome. Growing fond of Blaziken though. 4. Empoleon Close one, I love all 3. 5. Serperior. Close one, Samurott is really cool. 6. Greninja Landslide. Don't care about the other 2. 7. Decidueye edgeworth.
  9. gg eclipse. ended on a sour note for me but guess that's just how the dice rolls. literally.
  10. ...and then Noel's Clefable only has 10Ivs, a horrible moveset and no set evs at all. Noel always gets the short end of the stick, huh :^)
  11. Nope. It's from Radomus onwards period. before then it's randomly allocated based on level.
  12. Overrated/10 more like it. Yes good. Good boi. Flies now, happy boi. Why not. Eternal nothingness seems like a pretty sweet deal, and it gets a hug out of it. Good scores from ame pt 2. Best dark type, fluffy boy. Mega evolution is even fluffier and adorably edgy.
  13. The title is an accurate description of Cain, not Fern though.
  14. Eight Matchup: Dragoknight(Gazers) vs Finkletinklewinkle(Eclipse) RU Final Matchup: Azery(Gazers) vs Bibs(Eclipse) Gen 6 OU. let the games begin.
  15. Sixth MU: Intsys(LightGazers) vs Kamina (Eclipse) Anything Goes.
  16. Fourth MU: DemICE(Lightgazers) vs Hycrox(Eclipse) Doubles Ubers.
  17. Second MU: Bazaro(Light Gazers) vs Pyrrhon(Eclipse), Doubles UU.
  18. i said i was gunna do a shittpost here but idk what to meme with so. 8-2. zahk sucks. we pick the Sun Valkyries and Polaris. good luck eclipse, you'll need it.
  19. Tfw Amaria is generally considered to be an absolute joke of a fight. As for Titania, never really had -too- much trouble with Klefki. For me the only threats have always been Sandslash and Scizor, but that's by virtue of my teambuilding really hating fast stuff or strong priority. Her team is solid but there's counters available right before her gym if you feel like you need them.
