In all honestly, the version without a badge most likely will be one of the longest to make so I don't know how you got that logic. There's so many factors that go into a game and how long it takes to develop it.

It is a possibility but it makes the new version more like a sidequest , so a high possibility of a gym in v12 and true

Its summer so there is no school, which can be a contribution of boosting content quicker though I say April and May count in spring

I think we will face Deagan as the dark leader resurrected by Spacea and Tiempa just like Souta. The fairy leader might be Nancy.

Seems like you didn't play Where Love Lies, Deagan is dead, and no one knows who is dark leader, Nancy is dead as well, and she was member of Elite 8, not a possible gym leader. There are some theories around for dark and fairy, although nothing has been confirmed. It might be clear in upcoming few years.

The so said Dark Leader that was in Hospital of Hope was actually Damien, or rather his... sculpture or something. There was a scene in v10 about this. Evem Amber came running to see Venam, to state that her dad (Deagan) was last gym leader, and that he is dead and no one informed about new dark leader.

Perhaps,we can obtain his badge in another way,like the Normal Badge:it was given by Marianette and,in the "real" world,the Normal Gym Leader didn't exist,because Melia was supposed to be the new Gym Leader,but...we know what happened... We will obtain answers in future versions.

Do you see some of the locked/abandoned gym buildings being used for one of those leaders? The kugearen city one, and the one in Oblitus town. It would be cool if some plot went back to Oblitus again (?

Personally, I'd choose Pidgeot over Mandibuzz, especially considering we'll have Mega evolutions sooner or later.

Pangoro with either a Lucario or Gallade (You can get Riolu after completing Where Love lies secret ending and entering password awarded at the end then you talk to the lady on the right inside the GDC Central building, enter the password and you get a riolu, ralts from the secret shore backup lab, requires Rock Climb, 3 cell batteries a regular pokeball and metal/blast powder(not sure) to get the ralts. Might wanna save before to sr for a good ralts(adamant) with good IVS late 20s is good but aim for 31 in attack.)
