  1. I assume you already searched through your Recycle bin? You could also try pressing Ctrl+Z while in the save file folder to revert the changes you did, it might restore everything to how it was
  2. Also, in case you don't get Vulpix, try getting the TM Sunny Day as soon as possible. I will try not to spoiler too much: At one point in the game, when you get to Lapis Ward (after your third gym battle), you will meet 2 groups and have to choose between one of them. I am sure you will understand which one to choose when you get there You won't get the TM immediately though, you first need to do some quests for them before you get it.
  3. Well since we're getting gen 8 soon, Rillaboom and Cinderace will definitely be very solid choices with their Hidden abilities. It's also worth mentioning that Rejuv's Move Relearner becomes able to teach Egg moves after a certain side quest (after badge 7, so halfway into the current version). This increases some starters' viability. For instance, Charmander and Totodile can learn Dragon Dance, Empoleon gets Agility and Power Trip (great with Swords Dance, and later the Crest) Emboar gets Curse and Sucker Punch
  4. I'd recommend using Oranguru for Trick Room, since it's the only available mon, besides Porygon-Z, that learns it by level up. And Telepathy and Instruct can be really good for Doubles, paired with Mamoswine or Dragalge it would make for a good combination. You can catch it on Terajuma in the meadows where Orichorio can be found. But afaik, the Amplifield Rock for extending the duration of Trick Room isn't available yet. You'd have to use the mining mod, which adds all kinds of Stone Items, to get that item. But generally I'd say don't plan your teams too much in games like Rejuv or Reborn. In Gamefreak's main games and most other fan games everything was easily available, so planning was easy too. But in Rejuvenation every good ressource, be it pokemon, TMs or Hold items, are very late and often complicated to get, or still unavailable, so planning this out is too difficult for a first-time-player. Just go with the flow of the game, and at most make simple plans, not so detailed ones.
  5. well, just how you normally transfer files either use an USB stick or upload them on a Cloud (or send the save files in an Email attachment to yourself), then download them from your new PC
  6. yes you can your save files are stored in C/users/%userprofile%/saved games/pokemon rejuvenation just transfer that folder to your new PC in the same path
  7. I second the previous comment. Leave the pokemon with the weaker attack alive. For the first battle that would be Ribombee, for the third it's Clefairy, but it also kinda depends on who your team is worse at dealing with. If you are faster than Ninetales, try knocking it out before it can set up Aurora Veil, but if the Clefairy's Thunder Wave is causing you more problems, take out the Clefairy's side. It also helps a lot to weaken the attack or paralyze the pokemon you are not attacking so that they occasionally skip a turn.
  8. yes you are right, that's what I meant, my bad, I totally mixed that up somehow
  9. The tip with the Reverse Candies is very good, especially to get enough AP for the Exp All very early. I think the best way to farm AP other than that is to do achievements that overlap, for example the "encounter mons", "catching mons", "use moves in battle", "buy items", "use items" and "use items in battle" achievements. You buy pokeballs, find encounters, weaken them with moves, use the balls in battle, and catch mons. 6 achievements simultaneously. While it's true you can get these over time by just playing normally, it pays off to pay a little more attention to this early game, since they have low requirements at first for the rewards. It's enough to just try and catch most of the pokemon you can find in an area, like if you would to fill your pokedex (takes maybe 5-10 min per area). This way it doesn't even become much of a grind and is pretty effective. Afterwards you can also train the mons you caught which evolve at a low level, optimally when you can use the Audino trainer in Goldenwood and already have the Exp All. This way you can quickly farm AP from the "evolving" achievement as well. (Of course this also helps with the "trainer battles" and "moves in battles" achievements) it's probably like this for everyone. It counts every time a mon gets to max value, even if it's the same one. You can get this achievement automatically and really fast once your whole team is at max happiness, since every time your mons faint they lose a few points, but can then reach the max value again very fast, so this achievement is really easy to get without even doing anything. It might also be good to mention not to use 2 different pokemon species, cause their chance of spawning an egg is the lowest. The best combination would be 2 of the same species from different trainers, so using a pokemon with a different trainer name than yours in the summary, since that boosts the egg spawn rate as well.
  10. nah, it's good as is in my opinion. The idea is to turn Spinda into a buffer/debuffer mainly, not an attacker. Buffing a Contrary partner can be really strong. And the stat decreases put pressure on the AI, since it often switches out mons when too many stats were decreased. This can make it hard for the AI to build momentum. So Spinda kinda needs to keep its low stats to still be killable by mons with stat decreases, for fairness' sake. And there's still many ways to help keep it alive, like defensive EV investment, or moves like Fake Out, Follow Me, etc... And the ability disabling is another nice way of debuffing, especially when their strategy relies on their ability. this reminds me so much of the trading card game mechanics where explosion moves damage mons on the bench, pretty interesting idea
  11. It should be able to get it, yea. You should probably report this in the bug thread, as it can happen that something's missing.
  12. wanted to add some stuff since some concepts felt a little underwhelming Gothitelle Crest - always uses opponent's lower defensive stat for damage calculation, and uses Gothitelle's SpDef stat as SpAtt stat Dunsparce Crest - Gets Simple and Unaware (because only Simple was basically the same as Empoleon's crest) and add some new ideas: Mr. Mime Crest - Screens last 10 turns, and have additional effects Reflect: reflects 1/8 of damage received to opponent. Light Screen: heals own team's side by 1/16 total HP each round (since Mr Rime will be a thing, Mr Mime surely needs a crest to make up for not having an evolution) Froslass Crest - Def and SpDef scale with Speed, raise damage against pokemon affected by status conditions by 1.3x Froslass has an amazing repertoire of status moves, but is too frail to make much use of them, so this crest would turn Froslass into a great supporter/tank - the resulting bulk would be similar to e.g. Ferrothorn or Toxapex, but those two still have better typing and a free item slot, so a second crest effect is necessary to make up for that. (Also, since Glalie has a very offensive mega, it would be a nice way to balance that out.) Klefki Crest - The opponent's held item loses its effect when facing Klefki (like permanent Magic Room for the mon opposite of Klefki; affecting both opponent's mons would probably be too strong), and Light Clay and Amplifield Rock effects are included as well. (as it knows both Screen moves and several moves that are affected by Amplifield Rock) Avalugg Crest - Damage from special moves is reduced by 50% (Ice Scales ability), varying-power moves always do max damage (Avalanche, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam and Stomping Tantrum in this case) Starmie Crest - Summon Gravity on switch in, damage-boost proportional to Starmie's health (around 30-50% boost at 100% health) Spinda Crest - All pokemon on the field (including Spinda) get one random stat lowered by one stage at the end of each round. (combo with Contrary) Additionally, the opposing pokemon's ability is disabled.
  13. iirc it's available in the last current chapter, after badge 13, in a sidequest in the Zorryalin Castle and yea, it's possible to steal items from trainers, but you need to abuse the Recycle bug (which is technically cheating) : after stealing an item with Covet/Thief, if you lose that item again (through Fling for example) and then use Recycle to get it again, it will stay on your pokemon even after the fight
  14. there are enough Black keys to find, you can't get softlocked, keep looking with the mirror
  15. you dont know if the devs already went through the posts, and they wouldnt notice if you edited your post, so better post again for new ideas
  16. well if they go over the level cap then why arent you using common candies? one or two levels lower wont make the fight significantly harder, but the disobeyance is probably costing you the win in the end if you still struggle to win, i suggest getting the Protect TM, Sharpedo and Gliscor would benefit from that move a lot since it lets them stall for speed boosts/HP regeneration (in the Blackstream shelter in Peridot, win the coin flip several times in a row) Gliscor could also use Substitute instead of Protect, to set up Swords Dance while behind the sub, while it can regenrate the HP quickly (TM should be in the casino iirc) Talonflame would be better off with Acrobatics and no item than Fly with Sharp Beak, since it does more damage, is more accurate and gets priority at full health and since a lot of the mons in these fights are weak to Ground, I suggest teaching Lycanroc Drill Run instead of Trash or Iron Tail
  17. well, I tried to scratch together the ideas I had some time ago, hope you'll find them useful Magneton Crest - gets Levitate + Battery (effect applies to itself as well) (and yes, I mean Magneton, not its unsightly evolution) Gothitelle Crest - uses the opponent's lower defensive stat for damage calculation Kricketune Crest - Metronome-like damage boost if a move is repeatedly used, also speed x 1.5 Golisopod Crest - Emergency Exit is replaced by Mold Breaker Cacturne Crest - Sand Stream ability + 30% damage boost during sandstorm Sunflora Crest - sets sun on switch in, heals 1/8 during sun Dunsparce Crest - Gets Simple Luxray Crest - 1.2x speed and gets Galvanize Comfey Crest - reduces damage taken on your side (Friend Guard, affects holder too), and after fainting applies Healing Wish to the pokemon sent in afterwards

maybe don't make it a game over when your party is wiped out? I think you should be allowed to train up other pokemon and keep trying until none are left in your PC
  19. In Reborn you won't be able to get most of the TM moves you planned on, like Earthquake, Thunder, Volt Switch, U-Turn, Swords Dance or Ice Beam (unless you use Debug/Sandbox to cheat them in). Also Steel Roller and Hurricane on Mantine are only in Gen 8, so you can't get those either since Reborn is Gen 7 (and Gen8 won't get added). I really like that team tho. Infernape is really good, and Mantine and Steelix are a great combo since they cover each other's weaknesses very well. And as someone who also played through Reborn with a Rainbow team using Rain and Sun, I'd like to give some suggestions if you don't mind. First of all, I suggest changing Magnezone's moveset, because it doesn't really profit from Sunny Day, especially as a Steel type. (And Thunder actually loses accuracy during sun, so that would be a bad combination if you had it) Magnezone has some other great moves which take advantage of the Rainbow field though, like Sonic Boom and Tri Attack, which both get some insane damage boosts. Some other mon which can take the role of sunsetter could be for example Wigglytuff. It learns both Sunny Day and Flamethrower. Or Infernape since it's already Fire. But personally I prefer having a Drought user and a Drizzle user on the team instead of using the moves Sunny Day/Rain Dance, because it can help enormously to set weather on the switch-in, instead of having to wait one turn to use the move. But surely not necessary if you don't like Ninetales or Torkoal. For Infernape, since the Swords Dance TM doesn't exist yet, it would be interesting to use a special or mixed set, with Nasty Plot/Work Up and Fire Pledge (Fire Pledge gets boosted by 1.5x on Rainbow field, additionally to the sun boost, so it's Infernape's best Fire move when Rainbow field is active). Would be nice if Vacuum Wave was possible to get for a special set
  20. well first of all, you aren't actually trapped anymore if you went to the Sheridan Wetlands already. You can now use the boat to go back to Gearen etc. As for Crawli, the 3 most useful mons are in my opinion Torkoal, Talonflame and Lycanroc. Torkoal can be found in the rocks in the Safari Zone (only the red area, not the beach), so you can have smth with Drought and overwrite both the weather and terrain. If you go back to Goldenwood town, you can catch a Fletchlling w Gale Wings in the surrounding area. Don't evolve it until it learns Acrobatics (Lv 39 I think), because with that move it can easily one shot most of Crawli's team. And Talonflame is an incredibly useful mon throughout the whole game. And Lycanroc's Rock Slide, besides high damage, will have double chances to flinch if the terrain gets overwritten with the Rainbow field.
  21. The shiny rate in Reborn is approx. 1 %, so sorry to tell you, but finding so many shinies is actually very normal. But that also means you'll find a lot more in the future I don't have any of those shinies to offer, I just came by to tell you that you can actually view all shinies yourself. In your Game folder, go to Graphics-Battlers, there you will find all pokemon sprites.
  22. If the starting menu has a text in the bottom left saying "patch 1", then you need to update with patch 2, which you can find here: https://www.rebornevo.com/forums/topic/47347-rejuvenation-v12-death-of-one-birth-of-another/
  23. I mostly agree with Fais on her advice. If you are unsure about EV spreads, put in your sets in the Teambuilder of Pokemon Showdown, it will recommend EV spreads automatically after you chose everything else. In my opinion, the ones you should definitely scrap are: Vespiqueen - bad typing and attack Garbodor - except for Toxic spikes has nothing useful Vanilluxe - not very bulky to begin with, and with Aggron you have a more versatile counter-move user Murkrow - at this point in the game you really don't need cheese-strats anymore Camerupt - too slow and not bulky enough, this will barely be useful Meowstic - except for its speed nothing noteworthy Hariyama - not that strong, and its bulk isn't worth it, and like you said Belly Drum is hard to pull off on Hariyama without support For some of the others, I suggest a few changes to their sets to get more out of them. (I'm gonna propose some sets with Egg moves, because there is a mod that enables the move relearner to teach egg moves like in Rejuvenation. This way you could get those sets without having to breed and train a new pokemon. SWM modpack -> https://www.rebornevo.com/forums/topic/24930-swm-modular-modpack-e1840/ But if you are against using any mods, I suggest not using some of these pokemon anymore either) Aggron - defensive set: Sturdy with Metal Burst will easily take out almost any strong mon, Stealth Rocks are good on this as well - offensive set with Rock Polish (Autotomize only without Heavy Slam), and Rock Head as ability if you can get Head Smash (egg move) Ampharos - Agility (egg) is a very nice addition to its movepool, and easy to set up thnx to its bulk, but its coverage sucks, since it basically only has Power Gem and Signal Beam outside of STAB. Mawile - bad stats, but best defensive typing, and has access to many moves for a support set: Stealth Rocks, Super Fang, Foul Play, Pain Split, Metal Burst, etc. - or use an offensive set with Sheer Force and Power-up Punch (egg move), which can be very threatening with Sucker Punch (Mega is literally only usable for the last major fight, so dont bother waiting for that) Slurpuff - either as Sticky Web (egg) support, which is an amazing move and worth it to have in Reborn (replace Aromatherapy) - or Belly Drum+Unburden combo, which is very strong and useful in Reborn with Field Seeds Drifblim - even with Flare Boost probably not very strong (only base 90 SpAtt), but an Unburden set with a Seed might be pretty good on certain fields that boost its attack stats (too situational though) Ludicolo - Swift swim is usually the best set for Ludicolo, since double speed + 50% stronger Hydro pumps are pretty strong Swoobat - Simple+Calm Mind, but is harder to set up, due to how fragile it is, the further you get into the game Dodrio - really good thnx to Swords Dance and good coverage with Jump Kick, but replace Tri Attack with a physical Normal move, Return would be optimal. Similar to Swoobat, it gets harder to set up later though Gourgeist - Will-o-Wisp might be more useful in place of Trick-or-Treat to stall more, at least for now. But after your 15th badge you can get the Mega-Z-Ring and can use the Z-version of Trick-or-Treat, which boosts all of its stats by one stage, which can be very strong. Blaziken - Speed Boost is just broken, but I would teach it High Jump Kick instead of Sky Uppercut, and give it a Wide Lens to hold, which also benefits Blaze Kick. Malamar - Contrary+Superpower is really good, but with its low speed it is bound to get taken out quickly. A Sticky Webs user would go really well with it. Archeops - can be very threatening with its high stats. But for the case its HP is too low, Endeavor can be a nice way of doing high damage. Cofagrigus - Has really good bulk, especially with Will-o-Wisp, and an amazing ability. But putting the EVs in HP rather than SpDef would have been much better. Metagross (available after badge 13) - As soon as you get it, dont bother with Aggron or Mawile anymore. Gardevoir (also after badge 13) - Really fun to use in Reborn, since a lot of mons abuse field boosts given through abilities, which Trace can copy, so you can get those boosts/advantages yourself In my opinion, out of those which are worth keeping are: Blaziken, Archeops, Malamar (only with Sticky Webs), Slurpuff (either of the 2 sets would be great), Aggron or Metagross, Cofagrigus, Gourgeist, Gardevoir, Ludicolo
