  1. Might be worth updating? You're not on the latest version, which is 13.5.2.
  2. Hey, y'all. The location guide for E6 notes a number of move tutors available in Celeste City before fighting Aderyn. However, I've been unable to find these tutors. Any hints as to where they are?
  3. Basculin is a Good Rod and Surf encounter, so it can't be obtained until the Surf or getting the Good Rod (Chapter 6)
  4. if you're using windows os, the saves for pokemon desolation can be found in the "Saved Games" folder. the last fifty saves are backed up - to restore from a previous save, rename the file "Game.rxdata", replacing the current instance of "Game.rxdata"
  5. - 50% Speed increase gives it an effective Base 121 Speed, which is plenty fast to hit those Attracts and Status moves. - Let's make infatuation work regardless of gender. I think that's plenty, since it's pretty much un-nerfed Confusion without the chance of self hits. - You know what? Let's also give it Destiny Knot's effect. If Crested Beautifly is infatuated, the opponent is also infatuated. Not too broken, because of how few Pokemon run Attract, and how every Pokemon with Cute Charm has a better ability it would rather be running. (Yes, even Delcatty) - Optional change: Attract now works on Oblivious Pokemon. Again, literally every Pokemon with Oblivious has another ability it would rather be running. (Yes, even Lickilicky. Cloud Nine is surprisingly useful) As a fun gimmick, Crested Beautifly's Attract now has the potential to open up the most closed of hearts. Let the love in for the prettiest Bug in Aevium, Beautifly. (Meme change: Attract now instantly purifies Shadow Pokemon through the power of S I M P I N G love and friendship)
  6. Like, which Pokemon do most iterations of the main character use, either because they're strong, plot-relevant, or just plain-old cute? I imagine a lot of Mawile and Sylveon for obvious reasons, maybe Meowstic, Arcanine, or a Transform Eeveelution. I also imagine a lot of people kept their starter and the Mystery Egg encounter. What do y'all think?
  7. I think it's a neat coincidence that the best way to beat Intense Yveltal without resorting to Cursed Body is by using Parting Shot Pangoro, which has significant narrative resonance with the story Anathea tells Maria in the prologue. Also, what's up with that story, anyway? There's a Zorua puzzle in the Garufa ruins, and Melia uses a Zoroark (maybe just because she was disguised as Emma?), but my boy Pangoro just gets a sidequest before the second gym? Maybe the Pokemon are metaphors for something?
  8. Could've sworn the Claydol crest used to work with Defense boosts before in V12, or maybe I just underestimated my damage output.
  9. An interesting concept, considering how little we know about the Black Shards and how strong they could be. Technically, my starter is Mudkip, but I happen to like Torterra a bit better. Not aiming for anything here, just trying to make additions that make sense. HP: 133 (+38) / Atk: 142 (+33) / Def: 143 (+38) / SpA: 105 (+30) / SpD: 127 (+42) / Spe: 56 (+0) / BST: 706 (+181) Ability: None -> Solid Rock New Moves: Thousand Arrows, Shore Up Due to the precedent set by the Light Ball and Thick Club, this new form of Torterra can legally use the Torterra Crest, which dramatically improves its defensive profile. With Solid Rock nerfing its two weaknesses, excellent coverage with Rock Slide and Thousand Arrows, fantastic 133 / 143 / 127 bulk, and reliable recovery in Shore Up, Black Shard Torterra is primed to be an absolute beast of a tank.
  10. Set it to shift and then return to options. Is it still shift?
  11. Odd. Just to check, have you tried saving after you switched to switch mode?
  12. I believe it's pretty much anywhere during the day, since pretty much all areas of the desert (except the Ruined City and such) have the same encounters. Pretty low encounter rate, though.
  13. So with the advent of V13, the EV training rooms have been yeeted to post-Valarie, which I feel doesn't improve the game a whole lot. My main argument is this - The removal of early EV training doesn't make the game harder, it just makes it more tedious. Right off the bat, you can already grind EVs off the wild pokemon in Gearen City. HP, Attack, and Speed are pretty simple with the abundance of birds, bugs, and doggos present in pretty much any patch of wild grass. If you're desperate, you can get Special Attack EVs from the Psyduck in Gearen Park, and if you're really desperate you can get Defense EVs from wild Klink and Seedot. The notable exception is Special Defense, which can be easily farmed after Chapter 1 from the Sheridan Village Swablu. The issue is all of these things take significantly more time, and I would argue that the earlier system worked alright. If trainers absolutely needed these EVs for something (such as outspeeding a crucial mon before it wrecked their team), then they would try to get them anyway, spending hours grinding encounters on wild pokemon to get the EVs they wanted. I've done this a few times myself - before I had the AP to get the EV training rooms open, I literally spent a few days getting some of my starters and other mons fully EV trained. It was a terrible experience overall and the only reason I justified it was that I was also getting enough AP in the process to unlock the training rooms. Look, I'm not a game dev, and Jan can do whatever he wants with this game, but I do really feel like the removal of early EV training really slows down the early game, to the detriment of the overall experience.
  14. See, unlike you, I have no experience in modding Pokemon Rejuvenation, which is why I can confidently say that your gaming chair is just not good enough /j In all seriousness, maybe you need to change the variable names and stuff? Again, I have literally no idea how any of this works, but it might be trying to run both mods under the same name or something. So maybe change "Aephiex_AshGreninja" to something like "Dreaming_BBLuxray" or something like that, just make sure it's consistent so it works properly. As for the ability, maybe change instances of "FROAKIE", "FROGADIER", and "GRENINJA" to "SHINX", "LUXIO", and "LUXRAY" near the bottom - I think that might help? Hope any of this helped.
  15. In lieu of a starter pokemon, like the ones their classmates use, Alain uses a custom Pikachu in their Nightmare fight. It doesn't have a special icon or shiny sprite, because I don't think it's intended to be obtained. I'm just going to list the stats anyway. Base Stats: 55 HP, 80 Atk, 50 Def, 75 SpA, 60 SpD, 120 Spe (440 BST) The base stats are incredibly similar to the Partner Pikachu received in Pokemon: Let's Go! Pikachu, with the exception of a higher base HP (55 vs 45). Looks like pretty much everything else is the same as normal Pikachu, including level up moveset and egg learnset. It can also use the Light Ball, which is pretty terrifying considering that 120 base speed. Disappointingly, application of Apophyll Pancakes or a Thunderstone just results in a normal Alolan or Kantonian Raichu. Alain's Pikachu (nicknamed Tazer) seems to be a mixed attacker with Thunder, Icicle Crash, and Brick Break.
  16. I personally go full Attack and enough Defense investment to have equal Def and SpD after a Coil boost, with Gunk Shot and Play Rough as STABs and Bulldoze for coverage (because Stomping Tantrum and Drill Run couldn't be taught)
  17. Looks like Aevia uses Mudsdale, Whimsicott, Venomoth, Noctowl, Samurott, and Mega/GMax Lapras. I believe it's Axel that has the Feraligatr. Edit: It also looks like Ariana uses Oricorio-Bella, Kingdra, Meowstic-F, Volcarona, Blaziken, and Mega Altaria. Edit 2: Also looks like Alain uses Araquanid, Haxorus, Scrafty, and three others as a Sticky Web team.
  18. ... Crescent's class in Spotlight City, a.k.a. all the potential Interceptors? I believe one of them uses a Feraligatr, but I'm not sure if all of them have distinct teams or what pokemon they all prefer. Is there a list of what pokemon they all use?
  19. If you didn't save in the cutscene, you should be able to just go back out into the castle and use the PC there. If you did save in the cutscene, you can restore a previous backup by going to the Saved Games folder and finding whichever slot you're using. Just pick one of those backups and rename it to replace the Game.rxdata or Game_#.rxdata files. If you're using Erin's team, there's not much you can do, since you can't change up the team if you didn't use the Interceptor's Wish. Pretty sure there's a thread on here about beating the new Angie fight with just her team.
  20. Pretty sure it's been changed to taking 49 damage in Wispy Ruins without getting K.O.'d
  21. Did you start in GDC apartments, Kakori Village HQ, or Gearen Lab? Because if you didn't there's a decent chance you get translocated to a different map.
  22. Looks like he's selling the Noctowl, Phione, Luxray, Druddigon, Thievul, Samurott, Boltund, Probopass, Swalot, and Cinccino Crests for 9000 Red Essence each. The existence of the Samurott crest implies the existence of the Emboar and Serperior Crests, though the location of these is unknown.
