Try to completely redownload new version, pretty sure this was fully fixed. -
MysticUmbreon Best team
Cyphre replied to Harryd1998's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Speaking from Intense experience: 1) Super fast = super useful. Crobat, Noivern, Ninjask, Electrode, Talonflame, Jolteon. 2) Sturdy = super useful. Golem, Magneton/Zon, Aggron, Gigalith, Donphan, Todegemaru. Couple of Golems for example can really stomp (literally) on Amber's team. 3) Priority = super useful. Scizor, Honchcrow, Crested Spiritomb, Lycanrock, Mamoswine. 4) Speed Boost = super useful. Blaziken, Sharpedo, Scolipede, Yanmega. 5) Intimidate = Super useful. Arcanine, will be probably the earliest and most useful one you can use. 6) Oranguru is an absolute MUST for any Intense team. Train it to be a fatass so he could setup Trick Room. 7) Pyukumuku is an absolute MUST for any Intense team. Purify is the ONLY move that can counter several nasty fields. 8) Prankster Meowstic can be found very early and can be super essential for setting up Screens or crippling a mon for setup. Just make sure it's male. 9) Wobuffet is a god. Always feel dirty and cheap using him, but hey, sometimes you dont want to spend time rearranging your whole strategy. 10) Alolan Muk is a god. Amazing bulk, typing and one of the best Memento users for Rift Bullshit. 11) Wide Guard is great for several of the hardest fights. Throh or Machamp are your earliest and best users generally. Overall if you want to have a team that can deal with most things on the fly without too much rearranging, i would say... 1. Technician Scizor, Steel/Bug, can work both in Trick Room and outside. Classic Sword Punch yeet. 2. Alolan Muk, Poison/Dark, very fat and versatile wall(breaker), can counter screens with Brick Break and Rift Bullshit with Memento, also leaving opportunities for setup. 3. Blaziken as a starter, Fighting/Fire, broken chicken that can trivialize a lot of fights. Protect/Speed Boost/High Jump Yeet. Flare Blitz if necessary. Alternative is Protean Greninja, as much of an easymode starter. 4. Jolteon, Electric, the "my coverage sucks" pokemon of your team, but he will outspeed mostly anything without priority. 5. Thick Fat Mamoswine, Ice/Ground, Ice Shards from hell and good stats. Can either be trained to be megathicc or be a battering ram for your team. 6. Male Prankster Meowtistic, Psychic, Light Clay, screens on the fly ahoy. Screen, cripple, die and be a happy kitty cat. As for your reserve: 1. Lord and Jesus Pyukumuku. Trust me, train one. 2. Oranguru. Mandatory. 3. Wobuffet. In case you are lazy. 4. Throh/Machamp. For Wide Guard. 5. Couple of Sturdy mons, 2-3 Golems, 2-3 Magnetons. Trust me. Oh, and Sturdy Togedemaru with Nuzzle. IMO that's the bare minimum of mandatory things you need to finish Intense with the least changes in your team. Chances are you still will want to train extra 10, maybe 20, maybe 50 if you care enough other pokemon who can deal with hyper specialized teams in the same way. -
Valarie battle (different timeline)
Cyphre replied to blastcore1's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Yeah thats a bit of a shitty situation, had some troubles on Intense there because my team i had back then wasnt specialized in countering specific water team. At this point im pretty sure you cannot change your team at this point, since there is no PC at all. Which make sense story-wise, to be fair, but is a gut punch in terms of some fights. Pretty sure your best bet at this point is to use Debug mode if you cannot defeat her at all. -
I kinda doubt it's because of Covid, since by the time Rejuv will be finished it will be years from now on, and pandemic will most likely be over.

However, doc here still told us that "he left a present for each and every person in a city" when we got him. Dont know if this is a part of text that was not removed, or he still did something.

Shields on rift pokemon is completely stupid
Cyphre replied to MrStormy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Shields are a good mechanic, but they still need to be tweaked and checked. Fixing multi-hit moves, making that poison actually damage shields (stall should be a viable strategy), as well as i would argue letting damage continue into the next shield. -
How to get the Route 2 Whimsicott?
Cyphre replied to AccursedMuffin's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
After you finish the past section of Hiyoshi city with a certain Rift-G as a boss, you can come back to past entrance of Sheridan, cut down one of the bushes, then route 2 will completely change in the future. Get there, take research notes, replant the bush, get back to normal Route 2, give scientist notes.- 1 reply

Simple Eeveelution Crest Ideas
Cyphre replied to ty_taurus's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
I think a lot of Eevelutions are powerful enough pokemon, and Leafeon and Glaceon already got their crests, Flareon will probably have one too. Vaporeon, Espeon, Sylveon and Umbreon really dont need a boost, being a considerably powerful pokemon already that are easy to use. There are so many weaker pokemon that need crests to be remotely viable, like Aurorus, Kricketune, Delibird, Plusle and Minun e.t.c. -
An appreciation of Intense Mode
Cyphre replied to Generic Gamer's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
As well as crippling opponents to set up on them and then sweep. Or using a Trick room. Or utilize Light Clay screens. Or spamming status like sleep. Or Destiny bond the pokemon you have troubles with. Or Wobuffet abuse with either direct counters or perish trap. Or Endeavor. Or abusing Swift Swim. Or a myriad other things that dont immediately pop into my mind. The notion that changing a Field is a more one-button and inferior strategy to all other possible abusive one-button brainless things you can do in Pokemon is just absurd and completely wrong. -

Game also directly says when you start it that this ruleset is a "standart Intense esperience", strongly implying this is a suggested experience for Intense. -
Quitting Rejuvenation.
Cyphre replied to HoplashTheGuy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
And that is a huge shame in my opinion, since, again, all that difficulty would be meaningless without a world it exist in. You wouldnt be that interested in fighting all those gym leaders and Meteor admins if they were all Youngster Joey. But then again, it's been, i think, 8 years since Reborn started development and a lot of conceptions about it were changed. I am also curious, when people want to play difficult pokemon, why not just go on Showdown? Generally a lot of good matches there. -
Quitting Rejuvenation.
Cyphre replied to HoplashTheGuy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
No. It's first and main selling point was always, i quote, "massive, detailed world". Adding Field Effects was done not only to spice up gameplay, but also as a way to enhance immersion in the same world. Even in an interview with Ame way back in 2014 she said that the darker story and world came first, difficulty was added more to accomodate darker tone of the story. -

Cyphre replied to HoplashTheGuy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Im fairly sure that most of the appeal comes from a detailed world, actual characters and story, as well as a much better progression and pacing. Difficulty was always secondary, and all fan games like Insurgence, Reborn and Desolation are first of all known for making pokemon work with a much more compelling narrative in a setting that makes much more sense. -

I was much more annoyed about 2 Megas. With held items. Maybe next version some enemy can get a Mega who holds Life Orb, Assault Vest, some Band Item, Leftovers and all berries at once, just for shits and giggles. It's one thing to give an enemy advantage, but now opponents are literally playing a different game. -

I dont understand the lack of Trick Room TM though. If i want to use this particular strategy, i only got Oranguru or Porygon-Z for this and you cant even breed it on someone. It's still available on those 2 pokemon, so argument that it would be broken to have it also doesnt apply here. -
A fair critique about Held Items
Cyphre replied to MhicKy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Leftovers are available. You can use Pickup to get them since level 60. Not trying to disagree, just saying. -
(V13 Spoilers) So about Risa and Lavender...
Cyphre replied to ABoringGuy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Well, as someone made a retort towards Lavender in a dream, "not as scary as your lack of plot relevance". I like Lavender enough, but for now i dont really understand why she exist as a character. -
Sure hope it's a bug, it's very hard to read in it's current state.

Not sure if a bug with Saki's Metagross
Cyphre replied to Cyphre's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Edit: found a reason, case closed, that was my bad. I forgot Mega Meta got Tough Claws instead. Big oopsy. -
So, i've been testing different things in her fight, and i noticed something very weird going on with her speed. Her Mega Metagross should have 315 speed, while my Reckless Mienshao got 289, but sometimes i just for no reason outspeed it. Only sometimes, and the same was on 288 speed, since im using debug to adjust stuff, so it's not some weird speed tie. Obviously, not holding a Quick Claw, i double and triple checked. Her Metagross also dont have moves with minus priority, so i really have no idea what's going on there. Anyone else encountered this?

It's a specific Rift, each one got different pokemon. You need the one directly above the entrance to Route 4 from Wispy ruins.

Safari Zone Question
Cyphre replied to BlueApple's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Was the same for me, i think it's a bug personally. When i came back later in the game after Terajuma events i did the same thing and he moved away. Try to report it in the bug report section. -
Dragonite Mail Sidequest Bugged
Cyphre replied to Chris247's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Troubleshooting
Yeah, this was reported multiple times. If you pick up letters before talking to Dragonite it will bug out. Most likely will be fixed in 13.03. For now you can load backup save before picking up a letter.
