Game.rxdata Hello, i cant surf with the Oshawott and progress, can someone help? Edit: I changed my clothes in the past, shouldnt my trainer card change them too? Im not sure.

So, im not sure if it's me being dumb, but here is the deal. I've completed v9 way back, and decided to start a new playthrough of v10, and now im at the point of this sidequest again. Now, i found Oshawott again, and he is following me, but the game absolutely refuses to Surf, while anyone following me, and i dont see a way to the beach without using Surf. So i literally cant progress even with the story, since little guy dont want to go there. Am i missing something here? Some path or way to cross maybe, or is this actually broken? Im confused since forest was completely redesigned from v9.
