    I have to say, both 6th gen games did an excellent job of making the pokemon league feel epic. the bridges in OR/AS and the rooms in X/Y were both great. Also excited to get this delta episode rolling after this. I do think it's a shame that the E4 members lack mega evolutions on the first pass.

    It's been updated for E17 now, but you could go to the obtainable pokemon grid, take the total number and subtract the number of unobtainables? I'm sure there's a picture of the E16 grid somewhere around here.

    Pulse Arceus seems a likely final boss for the team meteor climax (what with the ARC-Pulse being talked about) I'll just say that I think having the pulses being bulky but slow is good design. (abra being the exception, but it had a recharge move so it's ok.)

    Poison gets good secondary type variety, has plenty of earlygame options (so no real need to start with special pokemon) and none of it's big weaknesses are particularly early so you have time to get ways to combat those effectively. Plus you still get the satisfaction of being supereffective against ferns main type. (I do personally like fire type better, but think poison would make for a better run)

    Sure, it can easily destroy the careful balance if its used, but it's very much someones own choice to use it. It's also good to have for anyone wanting to do some type of challenge run and needing special pokemon at the start of the game. Maybe a warning message about the balance when first creating an online account, but other than that I don't think it's necessary to restrict it at all. after all, this is a predominantly singleplayer game, so if somebody wants to play it in a certain way, why not?

    Extrasensory is a nice coverage move for Roserade, and I probably would've gone for it if I didn't get HP fire for mine. Technician doesn't affect it though as it's over 60 power. speaking of, I got very annoyed when I found out venoshock was 65 power...

    Nice guide, shows how much of a pain breeding an egg moves budew is! real shame that sludge bomb didn't pass on after all that extra work for it, and it's weird that it didn't... As a sidenote, does anyone know why nobody seems to mention magical leaf for technician roserade? with 90 power, 20 pp and inability to miss, it should make for a great primary grass move.

    it would be pretty cool to use the shiny, but I kind of consider ghost and dark to be doubleups on a team, so I think its fine to not. also I'm guilty of using 4 different Megas in my AS team all pretty equally. Was fun to use 1 for each E4 member.

    @GS BALL it's just speculation (based partly off this response: ) but I think there's a decent chance that trade will give a different pokemon now, maybe something from gen 7

    That's a nice Absol! also good to see Cirrus trained up and ready for the line of duty. As for Wally's health, with the talk of Verdenturfs clean air, I always got the impression he had serious asthma or something.

    I don't think the timeline matters so much in the case of going back and doing the quest after finishing the current version, as the ability to go back is non-canon and only there because its a version end. I would however be pretty interested to know how the things in GDC play out if you've not done the hidden library quest. Same thing with April/Krystal/Alexandra, wondering how how the train/route interactions would be changed be never meeting her before in amethyst cave.

    Oh yea definitely, it just might be a bit later than where it currently is, because the trapinch trade is quite early.

    Pretty sure flygon might be pushed back in E17 because SuMo gave it dragon dance, and even one of those combined with natural dragon claw and earthquake is very dangerous in the environment of reborn

    There's 4 gyms to go, 3 after Titania. and I thought I'd seen Ame say there was only 1 gym in E17 because of the amount of mapping and stuff for the desert, similar to E16 because of the amount of stuff to be done for rebuilt Reborn City.

    I thought it was either going to be 19 or 20? because if we're only getting 1 more gym in E17, 3 gyms, the elite 4, whatever the team meteor climax is and any postgame seems like a lot for 2 episodes, even if most of the mapping is done now.

    I think it's possible there will just be an area with wild phiones (maybe some kind of secret spring) and also phione is disputable as a legendary because you can breed loads of them. I was thinking the legendary action Ame referred to might be some kind of boss battle instead, but maybe not. As for the gyms, If what I remember hearing about the old league, bracket 6 (last 3 leaders) get a minor legendary in their team, so theres a good chance that carries over to the game. however the next leader (the one in E17, I think we only get one, which is very likely Titania) shouldn't have one

      This happened to me a few weeks ago, but went away when I asked Ame about it (or complimented it on her page......or something along those lines).  Magnazone for me ever since.
