for 1. there's actually a little cutscene in a side room of Angies tower that shows Indriad converting Anju into Angie through some method. the interractions with Anju in the mansion also tell us that she is from Sheridan, and I'm pretty sure she's actually an old relative of Aelita's, as she mentions her mothers name as family. As for our blonde-haired friend, I believe Maria and Marianette are the same person, while yea Melia is not quite but very closely connected in some way. for 2, this one is actually pretty interesting, Though the gym path is actually used to get into the mountain if you give the magma stone to cera and therefore cannot get magma drift from the shop. I haven't played through this route though, so not sure how you then get magma drift once inside. for 3, I don't really think she's Madame X, the behavior doesn't match, but I do think it's possible that her inner self is one of the 4 shadows. Honestly at this point she could either be a light or a shadow IMO.

I'll be completing new E17 content on my existing save, then doing another full run to try out @whomst'd've'n't's Reborn Extreme Version when that releases shortly after.

One thing to mention lore-wise, you talk about a whole lot of things they have for covering eachothers weaknesses, but one of the major points of that fight is that they don't work well together and even act as a detriment to the other

Holy Hell @Commander that Chamber of Memories is pretty insane but I finally got round to finishing it. being capped at 85 is rough, especially with Item ban too.

So is 78 the current maximum amount of cells (with 2 more visible but not obtainable) I've ended up with 77 and have no clue which one I missed so RIP. not checking all those spots again

I think a couple starter events like that egg in west Gearen are random from a small pool, and i think they can only be done once so I guess you just have to wait for later versions for them without cheating. I know from doing Zumi's requests that there are some very rare encounters in some areas, and they might also be day or night specific. Swirlix is a rare on route 2, and might be day only as well, but apparently there's also a trade for slurpuff in GDC (rain). Going by this thread, there are 80 known cells, but a couple are only visible, not reachable. if you have the lucky egg, you must be missing at most a couple. hopefully some of that was helpful and not just stuff you already knew.

Yea the zygarde cells are kind of a big project for me to do at some point because I only got the gather cube about 8 or 9 gyms in as I did all of the help centre quests in east gearen pre-venam, and then never went back in, so I only have 36 cells right now. There's a guide for those though so that will help. I guess if I'm going back to pretty much everywhere for cells, I should see most strength boulders anyway? don't wanna miss any TMs or lore.

So after finishing the current content in V9, we can go back and (noncanonically) access the old areas. The main new thing we get that opens things up is Strength. As these old areas will close off again for a while when V10 eventually comes out, now seems like a good time to go and collect things that we couldn't get to before going to GDC So other than Beldum and Ralts, my question is what things are worth backtracking for with strength? (Items, pokemon, lore, etc)

before, I had the impression that; Sirius was the head of the radio tower, husband of Narcissa, and secretly a Xen executive working on the Giratina project. Gregory was working under Sirius in the radio tower, got brought into the Giratina project, and wrote the journals. During the fire (Likely caused by Crescent) Sirius perished, Gregory escaped, got promoted in Team Xen, changed his name to Geara. Narcissa knew him as Gregory because he was her husbands work colleague, and it sounds like before the fire, the people of goldenleaf were pretty close with the radio tower people. I just went back and read the journals, and they seem to work with this, but they aren't exactly very specific. sadly I can't easily go back and check the dialogue of that sequence again. Gregory being the name Sirius used for the people of goldenleaf, being Narcissas old husband, and having a grunt write the journals is also pretty plausable, though one question I would have with that is if Sirius was already his 'Xen name' then why did he need to change that to Geara? I never really got the impression that he was possessed, and the only suggestion of that is his sprite. I still think Geara's current 'unavailability' is due to teleporter corruption, as I detailed in my post above.

So is Ace Membership still a realistically attainable goal? the exp system seems to have been used far less than originally intended and has sort of fallen by the wayside from what I've seen (never seen someone who has gained more than 200 exp, and anyone close to that was already an Ace.) Feels like the system could use a revisit, unless new Ace members are not desired.

Basically as far as I can gather from Cassandras data transfer metaphor, He was 'corrupted' in some way when the teleporter was destroyed after he was pushed into it. (a little bit like the end of the Mystery Dungeon: Explorers games) whether this means he's dead, horribly disfigured, lost in some void, or something else entirely is unknown.

I wanted to choose Erins path for the reasons above, but I was annoyed that you didn't get a choice as to whether or not Flora was turned in, even if you didn't share extra details with Cassandra. I chose Flora's path because it maintains the current balance between the two sides, and gets me the most information about both to make a more informed decision in the future. I like that it doesn't force you into being fully on-board with bladestar either you still kind of end up with Erin, which I like because I want to work with her to investigate this. In that respect, I think it would be really good if you could go with Erin, then decide not to turn Flora in on that path.

So with this coming out with E17, how are people planning on working their playthroughs? I think I'll immediately play through the new content on my existing save from E15/16, then when this comes out I'll do a full run of this.

Pretty much agree with everything Commander has written above for 4) yea, I'd love to be able to sort my bag by 'type' like the main games, where all of the things that belong to 'sets' and things are together, I.E plates, job applications, choice items, orbs etc for 7) I'm like 80% sure there is actually an indicator for pokerus. isn't is a purple box that shows up like a status effect in summary? for 9) I'm not really sure what you mean by this as I'm pretty sure the weather is supposed to be pretty much the same everywhere on a given day. It's just kind of a mess right now.

Definitely sounds like a bug. might be something to do with where you were saved in V8, so you could try loading up your save in that old version and move somewhere else and save there, then try it in V9 again?

I would guess maybe they keep their normal monotype, then gain either dark or fairy.
