    RIP. shared box is a bit wierd based on the order of things that you enable and disable things. from what I could tell, when you enable shared box on a save, it sets that saves corresponding box as the shared box, overwriting anything that already existed in the shared box. so generally it's good to empty out the box on all saves, enable it on all saves, then start using it.
  2. I'm just going off a Sun playthrough I watched because I haven't played gen 7 myself, but I think the Kahuna one is a pretty obvious choice.

  4. No, similar to reborn, the strongest ones (and a few others probably) are unavailable outside of starter selection (Until later versions).

    Should be fine. can personally confirm it worked in E15 and I doubt it changed. if you get one with good IVs and stuff it might be easier to use that to breed a shiny one

Maybe it was supposed to mean his favourite move that there's actually a TM for. and yea Lisia always felt pretty out-of-place for me too, especially as Winona already exists for a girl with an Altaria ace. (honestly I forgot she existed til this post, It's been a while) Also stoic protagonist faces are just glorious at so many moments.
  10. As of V9 you cannot obtain the Mega Ring, nor any megastones to my knowledge. you'll have to wait til later in the game.

I would hope not, that doesn't sound like a great change (I mean I guess for learning moves it could be annoying, but you could instead change it so they attempt to learn all the moves they would've when you withdraw them.) If the leveling was removed, having the withdraw cost always be 100 feels a bit silly so I guess that should probably be removed too. is that how it works in Su/Mo?

  14. If this is truly blind, I can't wait to see your reaction to some of the later stuff (esp. the postgame) because some of that was just so awesome to see after playing the originals

  16. You could get power/accuracy/pp by teaching through the debug menu, but I believe the descriptions have nothing about the additional effects.

  18. I think we'll get both eventually, and I think either one could possibly be gotten in this episode, though I doubt the Z-ring will be early if we do get it within current progression. What I'm wondering is after what point gym leaders and significant trainers will start packing Z-moves (I.E Mega's start from Ceil onward.)

We've already had a couple of these threads, and I really don't know/care anymore, but one main thing to remember, is that if we get one that's behind rock climb, we get all that are behind rock climb. which means larvitar, deino and I think maybe dratini come as a packaged deal. I think a couple of the steels like skarmory/ferroseed will be pretty clearly in the desert.
  20. I'm guessing maybe the special ability requirements will be ignored, and it'll just evolve into dusk form at dusk. (Maybe something like 5-8pm, because the 1 hour in the actual game is probably a bit strict.)
  21. Has Flygon getting dragon dance (or any other pokemon with new moves) affected how early they can be obtained?

  23. Good to see this'll be updated for E17, as I've listened to some of the stuff in it and loved it, but haven't gotten to actually use it in a playthrough yet. Any chance you and @whomst'd've'n't will be able to work something out for this to work with Reborn Extreme when that releases? Kinda hope this eventually becomes part of the base game (not necessarily all the specific tracks, but at least the general idea of each major character getting their own battle theme. And yea I get that would swell the game filesize, but I doubt most people would care about that much.)
  24. Yea I've played through Insurgence 1.1 and 1.2, and it was enjoyable enough, it certainly didn't hold a candle to reborn/rejuv for me. Some battles may have been kind of hard, but they didn't have the well crafted complexity feeling. felt like a lazy difficulty. as I said though, still reasonably fun, and my friend will probably finally get around to playing it this break too.

I recommended Insurgence to a friend a couple years ago, he happened to download reborn at the same time while looking for it, I saw it on his computer and inquired, he said it looked kind of interesting but he hadn't even gotten to the first gym, and he didn't end up playing any more. A while later I got bored, remembered seeing that so I downloaded it, fell in love and played the shit out of it (E15) and then told my friend to forget about Insurgence and go back and play Reborn. He still hasn't played Insurgence and we're both very hyped for E17.
