    As much I'm enjoying monster hunter stories with my army of monsties, I really don't enjoy how many times you need saving after a major victory.

      The worst is always when you beat the tar out of some enemy and then the game proceeds as if you got your ass handed to you during the fight.

    I think they introduced neos as a 2500 vanilla that the main character could use. Basically they wanted a dark magician for Jaden with all the cool specific neos spells. The neo spacians followed this theme since all contact fusions are just different forms of neos. Also for some reason the anime especially gx had this obsession with merged archetypes : (cyber angels with the cyber females, cyber dragons + cyberdarks, roids+cyber dragons+cyberdarks, ojama+armed dragon+vwxyz) on their main cast. I do think that shining flare wingman would have been the better ace. I think it would be a cool reference to the childishness he had. Flame wingman was his favorite and he would never stop playing it.

    I think that bulbasaur is a mediocrity pokemon. It is just mediocre in everything (popularity, looks, competivity, ...) and just falls under the radar for hurts.

    I keep losing my follow of pokemon desolation. Is there a limit on how much content I can follow or does my follows automatically get removed from old content? If so can I turn it off? It gets annoying.

    @Wolfox Sorry for the late answer but I missed the notification or never got one. Well there is the issue that konami likes to remove enablers/searchers before the end product. They want people to make plays but maybe not as consistent/easy. After all there is a certain amount of fun in getting that godly hand. (Like solemn strike , 2 trickstar reincarnation and a droll and lock bird) Also some cards have more potential to be abused. Self bouncing is a very common way to abuse cards. Blaze phoenix however needs a resource loop to be abused but how hard do you think it is to change such things in another ftk or a handloop (cannon soldier ftk, amazon archet ftk,...) ? Resource gain/recycling is far more dangerous since you can transform it into almost anything. Zoo transformed xyz materials into raw draw power.

    I took the zekrom route and haven't played the reshiram route yet. So yeah I think that it was a nice touch of character. Combining that with the dairy debacle, I think that Ameria in a sense of self-destruction tries to push Titania to her limits. "How much can Titania take before she breaks and leaves me?" . Yet at the same time (and this is what I think based on what I read here) she expects her to come back, hence why she became hostile when the mc arrives first. Now on the Titania issue, she knows the similarities between her and Taka. So when Taka dies, she was confronted with the reality of her path. Hence why she opted out. Sorry if I got some things wrong but it took me one month to complete my first run. So I'm basing myself on what was said in this thread. For the gym battle she was easy. Gastrodon walled everything but ludicolo so yeah and venusaur took care of that. It however doesn't have the damage output to get past aqua ring. So wishgwashi got a toxic from toxapex and lapras got pp stalled.

    Wait Florinia?!? Isn't she the person in the review (which seems to be dying) ? So how iis she going to betray us. Also the biggest issue I have with this cain betraying us thing is that Cain had so much opportunities to get us killed or captured but didn't. I mean he easily could have disposed of everyone of the oprhan group + the mc by stabbing us in the back when we invaded the old yureyei building. Noone would have known.

    Links did not slow the game down. It slowed everything down except the meta increasing the gap.

    Finally done E17 I just noticed madibuzz is still described as an mystery egg mon even though it can be catched. Also a remark about Amoonguss (from previous runs/games I still have to do that run again for E17 content)

    Titania gyms

    Titania had a cool team very surprising to see a steel gym use hail and not sand for instance. Also that aegislash is scary.

    Amaria however dissapointed me. Basically I walled her with my gastrodon the entire fight. Out of all her pokemon she could only get past my gastrodon with ludicolo which was super obvious. I unfortunately couldn't get past her lapras unless I pp stalled her. Still easy win for me.

      I have tried altering the Field, but new one always expired (even if I held Amplified Rock) before Aegislash came in, cause it was based on Grassy Terrain... Also, Will-O-Wisping it isn't possible, because it has no priority (also King's Shield protects her Aegislash even from status moves in her field, so you cannot Will-O-Wisp it off the bat, as she sets up with Swords Dance), unless you use a Sableye or something that has Prankster AND can learn Will-O-Wisp. Same goes with Haze. I could do it with Crobat, but I'd never outspeed Shadow Sneak. Unless I held Focus Sash, which isn't how I like winning battles (except for stuff like Garchomp/Dittoceus maybe).

      Titania's team actually goes down relatively easily, that Aegislash though only really has 1-2 things you can do against it...

      Funny I made it in burning, sweeping Titania was never so easy.  Also I just read that king shield protect against everythng so that stat erasion strategy doesn't work.

      Aegislash is already a strong Pokemon, as you said this field gives it so many advantages it is kinda unfair to even try brute forcing Titania. It just isn't possible!

      Maybe I just made timing mistakes with my Field... I think it would be possible, but probably I just derped out somewhere...

    I don't think he was that misused. The one time he was clearly misused was against that jinzo duelist. Also chimiratech rampage dragon?

    I like Zane (even though I would not call him a rival). Zane is a character that turned dark but not completely evil. He is a character in between. His evolution as a character was pretty interesting to watch. He want fron role model to disgraced champion and then evolved into a cruel duelist. It was also funny that in the duel between Zane and Sheppard that Sheppard justified his evolution to his cruel persona while he was "saving" him. After that we slowly saw an old/new face behind the cruel persona. His final duel had a tragical but beautifull ending. All in all Zane is an example how Zarc and Go should have been done. I also wish he was the commander of the xyz dimension of ARC-V instead of the completely misplaced Edo.

    Monster hunter stories can be such a tease. You get the rare cave, get the egg for a new monster. Then you hatch the monstie which is a Diablos and seems to have good genes . And when you want to place it in your team: "monstie rarity is too high please upgrade your kinship stone."

      Exactly the same happened to me.

      It's even worse with Pink Rathian, since she shows up way earlier but only gets unlocked at the same point as Diablos.

    Needlefiber + red wyvern is pretty easy to make turn 1. During your opponents turn use needlefiber to special summon formula synchron. Then use formula synchron's effect for crystal wing.

    Funny with the new master rule I focus a bit more on getting crystal wing from my rda/resonator deck. That being said the deck I now enjoy the most is trickstar. The deck has some cool synergy and nothing screams more anime then a 6k attack holly angel. Also burning for 4k damage in main phase 2 is also fun.

    @krim Uhm technically there is the world banlist which is just the strictest choices of both tcg and ocg banlist (so if a card is unlimmitted in the ocg and limmited in the tcg, it is limitted in worlds). But I fully support a merged banlist if the games are fully merged, how the banlist will look however is a bit more difficult. The one for worlds is not that great because t hurts decks a lot more then necessairy. So it might be best to just pick one and evolve from there. The ocg may have 2 stratos it also has only 1 shadow mist which sucks for heros. Meh denglong is banned and trickstar reincarnation is at 3 in the TCG so I think I prefer the TCG one. @YinYang9705 Errata's are in my opinion useful if the card can't be naturally powercreept like rescue cat or induce toxic gameplay. I prefer the smaller ban list and as long the card adheres to the spirit of the original version it's fine. However changes to perfectly balanced cards like goyo guardian are completely unnecessairy.
