Grass should be doable, you have a chance to beat Connor using chlorophyl bulbasaur and water sport roselia plus you have mist lombre. Aderyn might require some strange sun strategy though. Even then the lack of leaf stones (you only get one) worries me. Bug I doubt you can get past Connor. My best strategy would revolve around overleveling beedril to 25 for toxic spikes and venoshock everything with dustox. Fletchfinder will be you biggest worry there.

Go catch a bidoof and a lotad, they will help you. Make sure your lotad/lombre brings mist. Also what's your team?

I meant that point in battle, his exploud always survived. My guess would be dying on weeping hills v2 (silver rise) and a certain onyx stone that is desired by two people.

You can get a rod in black view city, a viable water type , aside from the standard starters, can be found before the second gym: a slowpoke can be bought for credits. If you are willing to wait you can also get an azumarril by helping the boss in blackview. You get a colored piece I don't know the precise color, what it's purpose is unkown at the moment.

For the bidoof puzzle you have to talk with the left bidoofs that you see when you enter the room. You have to talk to them from top to bottom.

You can buy ability capsules, however these things cost credits which are limit and you can get really good stuff from it.

Smoochum can be found wandering in the silver rise forest, a bit south of the mansion iirc. To find froslas you have to activate all crystals in silver rise forest. Then a path will be opened to hill with an ice pyramid on it. go down the pyramid and find the froslass. EDIT: Seems someon was first for the smoochum.

If you know what you are doing than you shouldn't have much trouble. You don't even have to have any knowledge on the game and challenges ahead and you should be fine. If however you restrict yourself too much, you can easily be swept away by the difficulty. My first run went quite smoothly.My mono-poison for instance was a disaster until the first two gyms but after that it was a lot easier when the options started to come as well.

You said you keep forgetting writing it down, so I'll politely say it again. The venipede line has no access to speed boost.

The battle with Connor is hard because of the lack of solid counters to his typing at this point combined with a sun boosted burning field. There are options however, you can catch a lotad (don't evolve until 15) and use mist to remove the burning field, you can use a pidgey to remove the field effect with gust. Even if the field is burning you can use a bibarel to wreck him. A final option is to trade a lombre for a budew, evolve the budew in a roselia and water sport before the flame burst. Roselia and vulpix are in the same speed tier so this might not work.

Moonstones are available at lvl 41 pick up mon, the odds are low though. 61 should (not tested might be bugged) give better odds. Sunstones should be at 31.

Believe me, I got my moon stones from pick up.

For moonstone you're better off just using pick up.
