Venus

With a piece of armor destroyed and all other adversarial bodies damaged, the battle progressed further to its inevitable conclusion as the minutes ticked back, albeit with the previous exchange being rather grave, as the team had taken quite a beating from the enemy's assault. Being one of the fortunate members to be unharmed, he knew that several members needed to recuperate, and thus their firepower would be limited for this turn. Noting the damaged state of the armor he had previous targeted, it seemed vulnerable enough for Venus to land a resplendent, killing blow. He had two bullets left -- he had to spend both wisely. The situation did not favor his fastidiousness at the time of wanting to finish with a fourth, precise shot. A mix of excitement and reluctance entered him as he tinkered with the features of his weapon, reinforcing his third, coup de grace shot, counting again:

Three.

Venus fires Curtain Call onto Armor B ( Quartenary Art bonus damage = T x [1 + B] damage, T= 3, B= 1, chance to crit, ignores 4 + 1 + B RES, grants Venus 1 + B damage when killing a target).

T: Turns Elapsed

B: Current SYN bonus = 1

Jade O'Duffle (33/33HP) (Healthy) (4/6 Cryo-Rounds)

He last shot struck in the right spot as that arm took a noticeable amount of damage from it. His face grew a smirk and he tilted his hat down to his left side. However, In the right corner of his eye Jade notices a bolt of lightning striking down and jumps out of the way before it strikes him.  While he could go after the enemy that attacked him he'd rather finish off the arm while he is still able. Besides, if it's targeting him he must be doing something right. With that Jade takes aim once more at the Right Arm and fires, the bullet leaving a trail of blue frost behind it. Hopefully this time it'll finish it off.

Izumi Kurosawa, 24/33 HP, Tempest Bloom ready in 2 Turns

Kurosawa skids backwards from the attack, riding its impact, as she sweeps by to to Hikari, she removes her weapon's magazine and tosses it into her arms.

"I'll need that back by the way."

As it touches her, a Stygian sludge rises from her form, roiling into its new prison.

Purge Casket on Hikari.

Removes up to one Status Effect from the target, selected by them.

Visrii Lutheim

Visrii dashed through the field and rolled over the armour's raised shield, catching it off guard behind it. As the bruised armour attempted to turn, he kicked its leg from underneath it. In one swift movement he switched to his halberd blade and sliced cleanly through the now exposed breastplate. He watched in annoyed disinterest as the darkness from the armour faded away.

That's one.

Although he would have smiled at the defeat of such opponent, he noticed the reactor weaving havok through the party. Already, fighters were being downed left and right of him, being onslaught by the awakened metal core.

"Get the wounded healed up!" he roared at the few healers they had, "Dead fighters are no use to anyone!"

With that, he charged at the reactor and swept at it.

Hikari is sorta wobbling on her feet a bit, twitching and barely remaining standing.  "Bwuh?" she says in a knocked-senseless tone as she fumbles with the item thrown at her. As the sludge leaves, Hikari stops twitching.

"*Sigh* I got it..." Ivory says. Hikari drops her spear, which becomes Ivory soon after. The spectral knight tosses the magazine back to Kurosawa once the purification is complete.

Removing the electrocuted status.

Jesse

"Whew, im glad that's over" Jesse winced in pain as he limps out of combat. While the others are busy treating their injuries and continuing to press on the attack towards the machine, Jesse decided to disengaged out of the crossfire, waiting for his lifesteal to come online again as he waits for the right moment.

Jesse rolls evasion to any incoming attack.

(Beware my might! On the reactor, 1d12+INT+SYN damage)

Sometimes things just don't make any sense, like how in the thick of battle man would try to tip an object that is bolted to the floor over, or how a man would pull out a phone to simply blare out some tunes, and Solomon had definitely noticed how hard the group was getting hit, but none of that mattered now, the shield on the glowing object had come down again, and so Solomon hovered towards it while firing at the reactor with several heavy books.

Bridgett felt dizzy after the strange man gave her his bag of medicine. Shacking her head and trying to keep steady she summoned her magic once again as the blue circle appeared in front of her this time instead of under ready to intercept attacks coming her way.

Eon: 32/33

"How curious, it has a one time barrier," Eon mused, noting that the starfire that hit the reactor bounced back, though its damage wasn't much. It was a tiny star after all. Still though, maybe this could be used to the group's advantage.

Eon uses Constellar Rain on Robot Arms and Reactor.

It was quite a relief, though on the whole puzzling, to see his deep gashes heal in an instant. Edmond stood up, as he was rejuvenated by a woman clad in green armor.

"Thanks!", he shouted quickly. He watched, as the sinisterly sentient armor, which had been the cause of such inconvenience to his person, fell beneath a relentless onslaught of blows and magic.

This is going rather well. I suppose someone just needs to destroy the machine producing the heartless then?

As he stared at the small, luminescent box, a crackling bolt of lightning shot out, almost faster than his eyes could follow. He flinched, and when, after a moment, the glowing lines imprinted on his sight had faded somewhat, he saw the woman who had just healed him, twitching as the charge dissipated into the ground. He felt a pang of sympathy; he too had suffered many shocks when working with unpredictable devices and this one certainly looked painful.

Perhaps it's not going to well...

He spent one more moment regaining his strength as his allies began to target the sparking object, and it took but a minute to see how its defense worked. He braced himself, and charged at the sparking object.

Use weld on the reactor (Does basic damage, and adds 2d4+Int to the next attack that actually hits the reactor (will not increase damage of an ally's attack that strikes the barrier)).

"GYAH!"

Kagari staggered backward and dropped to a knee, reeling from the enemy's strike. Doubled over, she clutched her abdomen to hide the fact that there was no blood. That was a strong hit; she lacked the excess volume to spare to simulate blood. She felt the uncomfortably familiar taste of metal in her body and retched, unwillingly recalling her numerous brushes with death at the tip of a sword.

She grit her teeth in pain. In this state, she wasn't going to be attacking any time soon. She quickly brought her free hand up to her ear, Apocalypse Collider materialising under her fingers in its hands-free form.

"Seems like you're in trouble. Again."

"Shut up and change my clothes."

Kagari Transforms! (Change forms to Magical Idol, heal 20% hp, Swap DEX and SYN values - DEX is now 4*1.2 = 5, SYN is now 6*1.2 = 8, after rounding up)

"Aw boo~" Magna pouted, as the armor failed to rise to her command. She would have to remember that the laws of life and death are governed differently depending on the universe and its corresponding guardians. Entities like those suits of armor didn't exist in her world, and instead could be governed by magic instead of soul embodiment. She could almost hear her superior yelling at her now, for not learning her job properly. Magna took a quick assessment of the area around her, the clamor of battle filling the air. She didn't know what the deal was with the robotic machine and how they were having so much trouble, but it was nevertheless their objective in coming here. "Ah, how I wish I had something else to do this for me. Instead I'm stuck on the front lines."

Snow, The Lady Ashford.

Snow's relaxed her stance, before drawing both her swords. Unlike most Auroran Warriors, Snow's sword style was of a more complex nature. It took notes from the rigid and deliberate stances of a more typical style of the region. However it wasn't the only place she took lessons from. She had incorporated the flow and graceful liquid movement that came from sword style developed in the Crystal Isles. Often their swordsmen incorporated elemental strokes of magic into their blades. They flowed along with the spirits, an struck with them to devastating effect and unparalleled finesse.

There was soft winds. Gentle breezes that caressed ones cheek. One's that instilled a creeping frost or a light flit of morning dew.  The Zephyr, the winds of trade and travel. The Eastern Bladestyle represented them.

However, oft forgot were the hard winds. Storms, typhoons, gales. They crashed with excessive and explosive force and were near impoosible to blow off course. They were represented by the Harsh Northern Bladestyle.

Snow married the two together, to create a powerful technique, one comprised of elements of brute power, rigidity, and explosive strength, but in the same vein, finesse, grace and efficient motion. Snow while she embodied winter, also embodied the wind.

She squared herself as she drew her blades and heaved forth the Fang in her left hand. Like before, it had sent a blade flying. A blade of pure ice. If one looked it seemed to nearly "cut" the air around it, separating a portion of it to flash freeze into a blade of frigid ice. She aimed directly for the left arm, hoping to if not watch it come apart, but to knock it ajar.

Use a basic attack, Twin Fangs of Winter, on Robotic Arm Left. ((this applies Snow's Perk, Embodiment of Winter.))

Ice Calamity CD is... ?/? ((can't remember the max CD of it at the moment. need to check and edit later.))

Theodore doses Hikari with his own potion.

Solomon offers up his one-two of hardcovers and softcovers to the reactor. He strikes it for [7] damage, prompting a spark from the reactor to arc outward and strike him for [28] damage, before arcing to Eon for [18] damage and then to Hikari for [15].

Abruptly, the second suit of armor stands up. It leaps at Jade with a slash, striking him for [10] damage.

Aurora wraps Jesse in a soothing light for [6] health healed.

Sachi strikes the reactor with her lance for [2] damage. Hikari follows up for [4] damage.

Visrii offers up a sharp sweep of his own weapon at the reactor for [10] damage.

The armor begins to whirl much like the previous one, striking Hiroki for [1] damage, Sachi for [0], Kyle for [3], Katsuo for [7], Visrii for [6], and Venus for [6].

Venus fires a powerful shot into the suit of armor for [32] damage, striking it right in the visor with a faint puff of a violet-black something exiting the back of the helm along with the bullet.

Katsuo angrily smashes Gwaedu into the armor for [3] damage. He regains 1 health.

Kyle takes cover.

Bridgett creates a magical shield before her.

Edmond welds the reactor for [1] damage. The next attack will deal [7] more damage.

Mar fractures the right robot arm - right into pieces. He obtains two more Heartless Machine shards.

Magna strikes the remaining arm with her scythe for [6] damage.

Hiroki launches another intense ray of heat at the suit of armor everyone seems to be targeting for [24] damage.

Eon crushes another star and blasts it at the remaining targets for [1] damage to the arm, [7] damage to the reactor, and [0] damage to the armor. The shimmering barrier comes up again.

Alexandria taunts the reactor with a choice insult. There's no visible response.

The armor raises its shield. . .

Alexandria pans her gaze over her well-masticated allies, eyes narrowing with every wound she sees.  "I hate mindless enemies,"  She mutters, "It's like kicking a roomba."  The air begins to heat around her as her slightly inadequate cooling systems vent hot air.  After analyzing her recordings of the battlefield, she makes her choice.

"Alright, you brainless construct, let's see you ignore this!  I'm dropping my shield, Jesse!"  Alexandria's right arm splits apart and reshapes into a dish on the end of a long tube.  Hints of glowing orange emanate from the minute cracks where her armored plates fit together as scorching heat dries the mouths of everyone in the room and a high-pitched whine makes every canine in 6 miles drop like a rock.  As she lowers her left hand, her shield splinters into tiny motes like diamond dust that collapse to the ground as a glittering waterfall even as they evaporate.  "Hit me if you dare, you rabid little virus."

[OOC: Alexandria drops her Hard-Light Barrier, and begins charging her plasma cannon.  3 Turns remaining for Projected Shield cooldown]

Venus

One bullet left. His previous shot had failed to hit its deadly mark, but Venus was satisfied with the bullet's reception, nonetheless. It was a precise, critical hit, alas, if not fatal. Two strikes he had spent on the same being of armor. Initially, he had not wanted to waste his resources on something so....unembellished. It wasn't until he noticed the....divine display of the violet-black essence leaking out as his work of art impaled through the armor's helmet. Like blood from a wound, except...of a more unusual, unseen, and idiosyncratic color. It was too much of a gas to associate it with blood, perhaps. Whatever it was that served as the plated sentience's sustenance, it was beautiful -- a sight to see for sore eyes, a scene alien, if magnificently so, to the artist's eyes ablaze with passion and furor, much like the magical essence that boiled in his gun as it struggled impatiently for its anticipated release.

"Places, everyone, places!" He called, readying the finale. This was a target he wanted no interference in killing, and he had already spent two of his precious bullets on it. He wanted no more than the best for this, if it had withstood two streaks of art and would succumb only to one more. "This one will be one of my finest works." The unliving piece of metal would be privileged to be part of something beautiful, to transcend the boundaries of its dull ugliness as its final moments drew ever closer. If he had to spend another bullet on that, he would do so with a bang. He would want to see only the best as the art from his bullet would escalate with the current display of the armor's writhing, inspiring liberation.

And this final shot would be....

Transcendent.

Venus fires his fourth Basic Attack onto Armor B (always critically strikes and deals 4 + B bonus damage, Quartenary Art bonus damage = T x [1 + B] damage, T= 4, B= 1)

Jesse (Health: 14/32)

Jesse was ready to evade incoming attacks as he backs away and returns fire to the right arm of the machine. As the sniper strategically distance himself from the fight, a strange beam of light was cast upon him. He simply stops shooting with a dumbfounded look on his face as he finds the source of this small gift of health.

"Uhh.. thanks.. I supposed?" Jesse said, tilting his head, confuse on why is this huge arachnid is treating his wound. He wasn't expecting something like this to come from a huge spider, but still, the angel was grateful that someone assisted on his injuries.

"Uhh...you might not want to attack that Reactor unless you're ready to face it, it's lightning attack seems to be quite a bitch...anyways I can manage from here.." Jesse trails off without waiting for a reply from the arachnid. The sniper position himself once again into the backlines once again and continues to deal damage as much as he could to this wretched contraption.

From Kyle's position in the center of the group, more specifically on the ground in the center of the group, a pair of grenades rise and fall towards the machine and the moving armor.
