Decided to quickly go and get shelly, so thanks for the location! now have her updated with more info. I'll get Cain at some point soonish because It's pretty late here right now. I'm not far enough through for Julia and Florina yet, but knowing that they exist is nice.

Thanks! Shelly has avoided me so far and when I get back into reborn hardcore over the next week or so, I was in the middle of doing a roundup of loose ends before heading through the agate checkpoint, so I should be able to get more info then =).

Any idea if it'll work on reborn hardcore?

Because the thread itself will be quickly buried, and I know some of the hardcore league participants will be following this thread, I'll post a link to the guide on the party members here. if you guys have any info to add to it that would be very helpful.

Oh boy that'll be a lot of stuff to find. Does any of it require you to be playing as specific party members to find?

For anyone just starting Reborn Hardcore; The party system is unlocked shortly after defeating Julia. It allows you to effectively play as some other significant characters in the story and use their teams. the catch is, you have to find them first. So I figured we could get together a bit of a guide to the party members in the mod. This definitely isn't also because I'm bad at finding them and want help from you guys I'm currently in the middle of hardcore myself, So I'm past some stuff and haven't reached other parts yet. I had trouble finding it too and so I don't really remember where it was because I ran all over, but it's one of the green buildings with the overhang that you enter from the lefthand side of the building. hope that helps a bit.

There are a few path differences around this point so it's probably one of those. if i was particularly important, it probably wouldn't be missable.

I voted fighting but I think I'd prefer Ice or Rock after realizing that 3 significant trainers already have fighting teams.

Neat to see it's a full release now, even if that doesn't change much =). I'm sure I'll get back to hardcore soon, I just sorta stagnated after beating luna but before going to agate because I feel like I want to try and finish up a bunch of optional stuff and exploring first, but that includes clearing adventurine woods for the sticker, which has been kinda putting me off. Also got up to 3 party members, not sure if there's any more before that point.

Yea found that too but I couldn't get it do do anything. there's not even any interaction text which makes me think it's for future version story or even like a legendary location or something for the postgame.

What happens if you cancel the quest at the help center and pick it back up?

I don't really have full cohesive theories, but here are some thoughts to throw into the mix. The puppet masters talk to the "interceptor" could actually be directed towards us, the player, as one of the lines is "which mind will you inhabit next?" and we as the player mostly inhabit the mind of the player, but there has been a couple of brief occasions when we played as someone else. I think Cosmia and Comet might be aligned with Team Xen in some way, for the reason that during some sidequest/exploration part (I don't really remember when) some random NPC says they know Madame X's real name, but Cosmia appears out of nowhere (though we don't know who it is when this happens) says "no" and then makes him disappear before he can tell us. Xen obviously has quite a bit of background influence in GDC with Cassandra, so Cosmia in a public role (shows) could've been trying to influence the public in some way. At this point, I think Aelita could be one of the lights, or could actually be one of the shadows (or neither but unlikely). during the flashback where they removed the garufa curse, undoing locks and chains around her soul caused her to gain red eyes/aura and throw the eldest into a wall, which seems kinda evil. one other semi-unrelated thing, I'm not 100% convinced that Ren is bad now. Last thing we saw of him in goldenleaf was him being kind of confused and angry, then going off with crescent for a walk and talk. Next thing we see of him, he's with team Xen. something doesn't quite add up. While crescent isn't exactly a pinnacle of light or a character with clear allegiances, she's been pretty definitely working against the operations of Team Xen from what we've seen, and she's VERY persuasive.

Well then, how about we head over there and see if we can talk to them. after all, at times like these we need all of the able fighters we can get, right? Can you lead the way to this guard tower? maybe you can tell me about what caused this animosity between you and the captain along the way.

It is that tropius (I dunno why it says southern part of the jungle), and if it's content and you've beaten the grunt, it sounds like you've completed the quest? try talking to the rewards person in the help center and see if you get the egg.

Sounds like you're doing a great job with this. I'm not super familier with the gen 7 content but I'm sure you'll do a good job. maybe something like comatose would fit snorlax?

For rejuvenation, Medicham is pretty excellent IMO, especially with a heart scale for zen headbutt, but all you really need is Hi Jump Kick for most fights and you can just rip through teams.

These look real good, it's just a shame there are so many pokemon and they take a while

I let go of him, deciding he isn't a threat for now (at least not intentionally) and say back: "well if you want to help, what're ya doing here then? the captain is only one person, we'll just go find somewhere else less defended that needs our help! besides, there's no glory for anyone if your side doesn't win in the first place." and I start moving off towards one of the battle sites that I can hear across town (there's probably smoke or something), turning back towards the blue robed man and gesturing him this way with a slight grin.
