If they aren't legit, I don't think they can damage your game, and whether they're usable online or pokebankable depends entirely on how well made they are, but it wouldn't be hard to make them look legit enough for the verification I think. The variety of OT's wouldn't be that unusual, especially if the person got them through the old QR code injection before it was patched, they might've just gathered codes from around the internet that they could find. The range of levels and the presence of unevolved pokemon seems to be a point towards the legit category, while if they have ideal natures or multiple perfect IV's would more strongly suggest hacking. There could very well even be a mix of legit and hacked. I wouldn't worry about it too much either way, just enjoy the find. Just out of curiosity, is the Noivern level 48? Because a while ago I got 2 identical shiny level 48 Noiverns on the GTS which are almost definitely hacked so maybe there was a QR code for it floating around? -

I mean there's a quite high chance that all or most of these are generated illegally rather than being found and trained legitimately, but either way thats still a fairly neat find, and I hope for you that they're legit =) -
The easiest way I found to beat Crawli is to take advantage of the fact that his lead is choice scarfed. get a Pokemon A that strongly resists one of hera's moves and can set up boosts for speed and an attacking stat, and a Pokemon B that is really weak to the same move. lead with Pokemon B to bait the desired move, then set up with Pokemon A and proceed to sweep.

This makes me so happy to read. Everyone here is amazing, especially you @Jan. I've been so excited for this that I'm pretty sure I wont care that my semester 1 exams are in two weeks. I dunno about a reward for the amazing people who helped fun this (maybe a second mystery egg, from a pool of pseudo legendaries or something) but if you wanted to do some sort of in-game kind thing for everyone, instead of raising the Audino trainer levels like a suggestion above said, you could give them some form of self-fainting method like toxic orbs and/or healing wish? because I guess the current thing with them is that they're still pretty tough to take down for the underlevelled pokemon that you'd want to be training, so you usually have to swap into something that can take them down quickly, splitting the exp and forcing you to reverse candy your "carry" pokemon down a bunch.

I think with something like this, it's really hard to know how difficult it will be without actually playing it, and will probably vary a lot from person to person. I also think it'll be a fun and interesting experience, regardless of how difficult it turns out to be. just my 2 cents.

I feel like these are going a little too far. having 140 attack and 100 speed with 120/90/90 bulk and literally zero type weaknesses on a starter pokemon is silly. as it is it's a very good bulky physical attacker that should be tough to take down. Grass is still a big threat but it should be possible to take a hit from some things with filter, and usually if you're leaving swampert in on a grass type, you're doing something wrong.

So, how "unfair" is intense mode's difficulty? Because if it just means that the teams are more well crafted with a higher quality of pokemon and moves, I might give it a go. if it means that most boss fights are noticeably above your current level cap or certain fights basically require cheese or a very specific strategy to beat, then I'll probably pass.

Not really sure what you mean by this, each version has all of the content of the previous versions in it, they just add new stuff and sometimes adjust things.

Type tweaks are good. the ol' drayano romhacks do a few of these like electric/dark luxray and bug/water masquarain (you could have a look at some of those maybe for ideas). Also a question, is this going to make everything (that's fully evolved) a more similar power level, except for certain things like pseudos and legendaries that should be stronger, or is everything getting a boost of a similar size? On another note, sort of as an address to the part about thunderfang, I wouldn't mind a few tweaks to move powers and effects either. nothing major though. Will pokemon availability be likely to change at all with the shifts in power level? things that are cut from the current basegame could be more ok to have in this version. I was gonna ask about TM's but with moveset changes it might not be very necessary, at least for STAB moves.

That's for a couple other events to get certain pokemon like Litwick. If anything a soul candle would probably make it worse, as the fire of those seems similar to the variety that caused the issue in the first place...

Probably gonna be pretty tough to help somebody who had their Soul incinerated. (nothing you can do at the moment I think) bring floral charms to get the oddishweed from Adventurine woods (I'm pretty sure it was in a south area)

I think a fairly substantial portion of gym leaders were getting their teams modified a bit to accommodate the gen 7 pokemon

Azelf supposedly turns people to stone which is probably where the Uxie post came from, but that's only 5 days after they try to harm it, and it sounds like more of an automatic thing than azelfs intentional action. also I swear like 90% of the pokedex has to be treated as non-canon.

At first I thought this sounded similar to Reborn Hardcore, but it actually sounds pretty different. Sounds like quite a neat idea! The whole "everything is overpowered" thing can make for an interesting dynamic (kinda like 300% smash bros) and can change what's valuable in a pokemon. Because the buffs would be nonlinear and include movesets as well as stats, it would be interesting to train lots of pokemon do experiment and find out which ones were now great, so maybe an early lucky egg and/or exp share would be a good idea because of that? It would be interesting to see which pokemon saw the greatest improvements, having potential in a certain area but not normally having that stats or moves to pull it off. I think fully removing online is probably a good idea for this.

I think it's ambiguous enough that Corey could be included in the ones "forshadowed", and the future tense might be because not all of the 4 shown events have happened yet? (ie like "when these 4 events have happened, 2 souls will be taken"). I feel like either interpretation could be correct.

I think this was also mentioned around people speculating the two Lins thing. Unlike Amarias scene which was fairly ambiguous, having your body falling apart is quite hard to survive. Maybe shade isnt counting it as a 'death' because the young lin is still alive. Maybe Old Lin isn't even a proper person, which would explain why Anna (with her special sight) couldn't see anyone riding hydreigon above tanzan. Annas mysterious dialogue when it comes to these things is basically always spot on, even if it doesnt seem all that significant. (Still wondering when Cains "pitch black eyes" will make sense)
