I said this in a status, but even though I don't own a switch, I'm so happy that this exists. The first two mystery dungeon games are some of the biggest ones of my childhood and switch remasters of them have been something I've imagined for a while in "what would I do if I was the Pokemon company director" daydreams. From what I've seen they look absolutely gorgeous, with both the storybook aspect of the 3D, and the dialogue portraits filled with a ton of personality. The mechanical improvements look great and while it could be really awesome to see slight tweaks to story things (stuff like Primal Groudon / Mega Rayquaza bosses), it'll be absolutely fine if it's identical to the original. I'm even excited for little things like seeing all the Friend Areas in the new graphics, because a lot of them had really cool designs. Now, maybe this is a bit hasty, but say it with me; EXPLORERS! EXPLORERS! EXPLORERS!

When you open up the scripts file in gemini, there should be a big list of sections on the left. Settings is the very top one, then you double click that to open the actual functions of that section.

The first few leaders have IVs ranging anywhere from 0-25 on most Pokemon, usually with weaker species having higher IVs to compensate. Shelly's Volbeat is the first perfect IV Pokemon I think, and from around Aya onward is where significant teams will have most or all Pokemon with maxed IV's. As for EV's, The first one with a competitive spread is Serra's ace, but they don't really come commonplace on most pokemon til around Badge 10-11. To my knowledge, for any Pokemon that doesn't have a specific spread defined, they'll have 1.5x their level as EVs in each stat, up to a max of 85 (level 56 or 57)

I flipped out when he got that shiny null, I remember resetting a ton for that. He thought it was a scripted shiny lmao (understandably) but I'll clear that up. Glad he'll get to show off some of the custom Silvally shinies! the cracked walls had me flipping out in a different way, but we got there in the end....

To clarify, your saves are stored in a separate location so they should be loaded fine by any version of the game run from anywhere.

Did your download potentially get interrupted? if you only have a partial/corrupted file, it'd probably say that.

I've definitely made the lucky egg thing clear already. Not sure he'd want to do much with itemfinder / softreset since they'd be things that would take a bunch of time but not be video material, and I think he's quite busy. As for the casino coins, I just made him a quick mod that does 10x slot payouts so that can be farmed pretty quickly. Using voltorb flip calculator is pretty slow/boring tbh when you're trying to get things done for content. As for the stickers, he's got all the information on where they are available but tbh I don't think I want him to buy X items lol

Well, Rejuvenation currently has 14 badges, and is 12/16 in terms of version releases, so it's got a bit further to go but there's plenty there. I'm definitely going to recommend he play Rejuvenation eventually, but I'll make sure he understands both the scope and current completeness of the game, along with the different difficulties. And who knows, I might lose the connection I do have when Reborn finishes anyway.

No it's its own seperate story/game that's self-contained. It does have several references/cameos from Reborn though, some of which could spoil things slightly
