  1. It's been a while, but yeah I'm pretty sure that was the reasoning. didn't want the existing theme to go unused, so it became "his" theme since he should now be the only one using it? don't remember exactly though.
  2. No, it won't say that, so you have to check the summary. the chance is 700/65535, or slightly more than 1%
  3. I'm pretty sure there's a certain timeframe requirement too. don't remember exactly but try between like, midnight and 4am (you can set your computer clock)

  5. If you mean the passwords mentioned in a past dev blog post for enabling certain game rules or features, That's a feature in development for Episode 19 - It's not in the current version
  6. iirc, you had to do the teal panther recruiting (bottom right of north Cellia) and then kinda just go back and forth a bit between the teal panther house and the house with the rangers lacking a leader until Clarke joins them and mentions needing a bigger building?
  7. Jinx guild stuff should progress naturally as you get further in the story in Cellia, including the ring quest popping up.
  8. Saved in Odis village after first talking to Tristan and then couldn't resume when I loaded the game back up later: V5.1, Windows, mkxp version. Loading a backup worked fine and I haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Here's the bricked save file to dissect:
  9. @andracass now I'm curious how long it would be on like, 18.1 or even older versions like 15-17 and nice zoom
  10. Yeah Deso has the same 700/65535 as Reborn/Rejuv
  11. Well, since you mention the 10x slot rewards that TTar used, I'll just give you that since I made it for him lol DBX-Superslot.rb
  12. damn adams right tit got 3 votes but adams left tit only gone one. that's messed up.
  13. I think it was somewhere around the part where you were mad at the code
  14. honestly bless you cass. you've done so much incredible work and deserve nothing but love for it. if anyone wants to disagree they can feel free to contact me directly and I'll be happy to tell them to eat shit With all the cool stuff that the fangame community as a whole has managed to collectively produce, essentials could become a mighty god indeed with a unified development front....
  15. Yeah that's correct, If you overwrite redux or similars trainer files, you'll basically lose any other trainer types that they've added, so it's not recommended As for the loading issues with replacing individual tracks, I'm not going to pretend I know the ins and outs of RMXP music loading rules so all I can say is try mimic what's there as closely as possible, and good luck
  16. You have to edit the trainers.txt version of the file from the PBS and then recompile the game to make the new trainers.dat file. as soy said the workaround for replacing a track or two is to rename the music you're adding to match the ones you want to replace
  17. At a rough estimate, I'd say that you spend maybe the first quarter to third of the game in the city, but overall, the region has at least as much environmental variety as a classic one, so there's plenty to look forward to! For now though it sounds like the city is doing a pretty good job of immersing you and creating the appropriate feelings, doesn't it?
  18. If you didn't mind grinding over the level cap a bit and then common candying back down, you could potentially get graveller to 47 to try the strategy with explosion instead? getting Noibat evolved at 48 could also help, since at this level I'd imagine unevolved pokemon like that aren't doing a ton of work
  19. Well hey, welcome back and hopefully things go well this time! If you're looking for a powerful starter, nothing else compares to Torchic. With Speed Boost and Bulk Up (combusken level 31), It can find opportunities to set up on many physical pokemon and decimate a large amount of the hard fights in the game on its own
  20. My interpretation is this; for a long time now TTar hasn't really cared about like, youtube performance that much, he's just done what he felt like. But with the return and success of Extreme, he wanted to have another try at playing the algorithm and seeing if he could actually grow his channel again. And it seems to be working, so more power to him. But unfortunately, picking up a long-running series of a frankly more niche fangame after a significant break unfortunately kind of goes against that because of what youtube supports and promotes. So he does want to finish the game, but is keeping it on hold for now and putting his channel growth first, which isn't something that should be held against him (it's his livelihood after all). I'm still confident that in future, probably after extreme is all finished off, it will return.
  21. At last, the seemingly immortal enemy finally falls.
