My internal voice read this as "Pokemon Carbon Dioxide" Oh my gosh this. Exactly. I enjoyed both your comments. I really love playing these games and the different tweaks people throw in (Love suzerain's HM items, SO much), and the official games have a special place in my heart. That being said, I wish we could see more games moving away from the whole badges, evil team, league formula and trying out other RPG flavors. One idea I've mentioned elsewhere on the forums is a story of a disease outbreak at a university and what that would be like with pokemon Pokemon Contagion? Heck, there could be a story where you're an ecologist trying to STOP people from catching them all. As an example of different RPG flavors, I really enjoyed Super Eevee Edition's different battle mechanics. The Speed based turn system made so much more sense to me in that game than it does in official games (kinda feel like speed is an "underused" stat. It determines who goes first and nothing else. I guess there's gyro ball and electro ball, but still So all that extra speed your electrode (or whatever) has is totally wasted on that shuckle). Another example from SEE, the fact that pokemon could learn more than 4 attacks. SEE also has an item synthesizing system. Anyway, kinda rambling at this point. Love the discussion, really hope it happens. Edit* Oh, Pokemon Apex is an interesting example of new stuff. For me, it's kinda like Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts had a child.

Just finished some throwbacks, Spyro the Dragon and Final Fantasy Tactics

So I've been trying to figure out where X scissor is, and I haven't been able to find it, neither in the game or in the forums. Some help would be very appreciated.

So my pokemon was being Sky Dropped, but then the attacking pokemon was hit by paralysis and couldn't finish. The attacking pokemon reappeared, but mine didn't. After that any attacks directed at it would miss, but mine never got a chance to attack.

Oh, something small that bugs me is when the text for a "speech frame" or whatever is too long, and so it scrolls before you have a chance to read it. I've noticed this across a lot of different fangames

This is interesting. Some of the things people have mentioned here I personally like. Guess everyone is different. I have totally noticed the pokemon changing between resets, and it's bugged me! That's actually a really interesting idea that I've never thought of.... This was the music that came to mind when I read your description of an evil legendary appearing...

Maybe this is on purpose, but I'm pretty sure Rift Volcanion's Water Pulse has Psychic typing. It was super effective against my Seviper and didn't work at all on my alolan Grimer, so yeah.

I think it's more bad luck than a glitch, but that oshawot won't move and he block Jenner after the fight with Ren, and then the game just stops. So could someone move the little guy? That would be great Game.rxdata

Most people are okay with that for mono runs

One option is to download Reborn- Sandbox Mode. It's the same game but has a room at the beginning with everything. All the TMs, someone who will generate any pokemon for you, the pokemon breeder, the nature changer, EV grinding, etc, etc. A big part of the reason it was created was for mono-runs. You could do a cat run (only pokemon that look like cats), or a dog run. You could do a "limbless" run, ie only pokemon that don't have arms or legs (like wheezing, electrode, magnezone, arbok, seviper, etc). You could do a challenge run based on an egg group too, ie human-like, or water 1, or monster. Just some ideas

Haha, I think this sounds kind of amazing. It'd be a lot of fun to play with mons that just aren't normally powerful enough to carry you through.

I didn't have a rock type and she did give me a hard time. Not a bad way to go. I eventually used Growlithe/Flame burst and Braixen/Fire pledge to just roast the field. That helped me a lot.
