Has anyone been able to find the Ambrosia Crystal? A little help would be much appreciated...

On the subject of Pokemon Apex, I have comments The story is strong, but the level cap is hit early, and takes awhile to raise. I found it pretty frustrating in that sense just because there was a lot of wasted experience (though I guess you get EVs from them...). The 3 pokemon limit was also a bit of a shock for me. I was also sad that after you spent so much time/effort getting to cities, there wasn't more to do inside them (sidequests, etc). However, the game was pretty visually appealing, and again, the story is pretty good. I enjoyed the different starters and their stat buffs too. One of my favorite things was unique items. For example, you can get a hold item that protects your pokemon from weather and boosts their sp. defense when you send them in. Loved that. Also, the creator gets kudos for making one of the hardest pokemon puzzles I've ever had to solve Oh, and one last thing, don't be like me and name your character Dante. One of the main NPCs is named Dante, and it made some conversations very confusing.

I pretty much agree with what's been said so far, Garchomp, Hydreigon, Gardevoir, all seen too much. Lucario is definitely a very common fighting staple. Eeveelutions are common (especially Umbreon for villain-types). I feel like some others might be Seviper, Girafarig, Zoroark, and Mismagius (not necessarily as aces, they just appear a lot, I think) I would love if important NPCs had more unusual aces! I think a villain that loved fairy types would be great ( Can't you just see them "offing" people with their terrible Whimsicott? (seriously though, they could smother them with their cotton, or leech seed them to death or something)) I would even be fine if the creators gave the ace a custom mega, or just boosted its stats if they felt it needed it, in order to make it more challenging.

Whoo, great discussion! I personally love the new stories and themes coming up in fan-games. As an example, I love how the bad guys (and sometimes the good guys) use their pokemon to actually attack other people. Because that's exactly what would happen if some "villain" had a super powered dragon. I think it would be awesome if these new, more realistic themes continue to expand. I myself have toyed with certain ideas, like a Pokemon game that happens on a college campus where a disease breaks loose from the Microbiology department and so the campus is shut down. (as a super random example). I think it's really fun to ask ourselves what this story would be like if Pokemon existed and were part of the experience (ie people on campus all own some pokemon, quarantine workers using pokemon to keep people in the quarantine zone, different majors tending to own different types (like engineers = steel && electric, etc). Now, with all that said, I think that serious, sensitive themes should definitely be handled appropriately. I largely agree that any medium can hypothetically be used to address any issue, but doing it well and tastefully largely depends on the experiences and skills of the creators. If they don't have the skills to handle the themes, then I think it would probably be best to stay away from it.

If you follow the style of the fusion generator, a Growpix/Grolpix would be a Growlithe's head on a Vulpix's body. But I don't care a whole lot about the naming, I just made these for fun.

Well, if you follow the nomenclature of the Pokemon Fusion generator, the first is Vulithe (which I actually like) and the second one would be Ninenine, but I don't really like that, so I just call it Arcatales in my head.

Did Garret already talk to you about using Blue swimsuit Guy as a distraction? Because that needs to happen, then you go talk to the Blue Guy. He's in the bottom rightish corner IIRC... Oh, he's on the couch in your basement still, isn't he? Whoops. I can't remember exactly... Sorry that wasn't very helpful :/

Ha, I came here for the exact same reason. But since I'm here, has anyone been able to get into the locked rooms in the library in Cellia city? I had a key from Rosetta when I went down there, but when I tried the doors I just got a message that said something like, "It's locked, perhaps you need a key?" Was this a bug? Or part of the story? I just hope I didn't miss something cool because of a bug...

So I've tried this on like my last 5 back-ups and it keeps giving me the same thing. Do I just have to keep going back farther until I find one that it'll load? :/

Love the new episode so far, but I'm having some problems. I made it to the point where I could finally battle Rossetta, but now when I try to load up the game the opening screen appears, then I hit enter and it shows my save file, but when I select it the game crashes. It says "Script 'PokemonFieled' line 1755: NoMethodError occured. undefined method 'name' for nil:NilClass " Can anybody help me out?

Yeah, that's what I had in mind. But not just like "Way to go! Here are some ultra balls! (but early ultra balls in Reborn would actually be pretty awesome...) I more was thinking like it would unlock a new sidequest or area or something. I get that Reborn is mostly focused on the story and the difficulty of the battles, but I still think it'd be a fun series of sidequests in a game like Reborn, especially because it's so difficult to hunt down some Pokemon. Just my opinion though

So it's always kinda bothered me that in most of the Pokemon games I've played, both in the main games and in fan-made ones, there's usually not a significant reward for completing the Pokedex. Feel free to argue with me on this, but it always seems pretty underwhelming to me. I wish that the effort was acknowledged/rewarded, ya know? Like maybe there could be some crazy PokeFanatic, and as they see you complete more and more of your Pokedex they trust that you are a true lover of Pokemon and take you on crazy sidequests or tell you where to locate rare pokemon or items, ya know? I'd love it if something like this were incorporated into a game. What are everyone's thoughts on the Pokedex? Do you feel you're rewarded enough? Do you feel that it is its own reward?

So I,m on version 8 and I was trying to do all the help center stuff in West Gearen but it says I need to do the odd key event first. I checked the side quest guide but I think it might be outdated as far as this event goes? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I've checked out the chandelure statues but Narcissa just says it's private still...
