  1. Gen 1 Fave: Agatha. The idea of this little old creepy lady kickng your butt with "death" themed pokemon(hence the poison and ghost types) was pretty neat. Her Pokespecial incarnation was really cool too. Gen 1 least fave: Bruno although i didn't dislike him, his team was just a bit boring is all. Gen 2 Fave: Karen fan here. I don't like her redesign much at all though, she looked much better gen 2. Gen 2 least fave: ugh will. His design is an incoherent mess but props for maining Xatu. Gen 3 Fave: Phoebe, she has an excellent look although I don't think it fits her typing that well. Gen 3 least fave: Glacia, she has almost no personality and what little she does comes off as highly unlikable. Also sheer cold spam FTL. Gen 4 fave: Lucien. Guy oozes a sort of neo retro coolness and his Bronzong was pretty tight. Gen 4 least fave: I actually like sinnoh's E4 unlike most people, but I guess Bertha has the least amount of personality. Gen 5 fave: Marshall, since fighting is my favorite type and he's probably the coolest fighting specialist in the franchise. Gen 5 least fave: Caitlyn, but i like all of Unova's E4 and think they're the best ones. Caitlyn has morning breath though lol. Gen 6 fave: Malva I guess. She's the only really memorable one although Siebold was actually pretty challenging without an electric move for Gyrados. Gen 6 least fave: The knight dude. Incredibly boring/obvious gimmick design without an ounce of creativity in it.
  2. A few redone trainer sprites so they don't look so much like sprite edits.
  3. Only if I get to use Psylocke But yeah his Taka edit reminded me of cyclops. I couldn't resist lol.
  4. I thought you couldn't evolve charmeleon until you beat Marianette? I had Monferno well beyond infernape level and he wouldn't evolve.
  5. Some reason I really don't like Crescent, she feels like she just twists the plot to her favor wherever she goes. I really want her to get taken down a peg.
  6. Some accents can be grating to me, but it depends on the pitch of the voice speaking it too. i.e I love British accents of all dialects, but if you have the shrill of a banshee i'm not going to want to hear you too much lol. Personally I try not to judge people by their accent, although vernacular on the other hand...if you can't hold a conversation without swearing like every 3 lines than it's kind of hard of me to want to talk to you. My accent I would think is pretty Californian.
  7. Words from the soul? I'm told I'm very polite and hard working, as well as positive. I try to treat everyone with respect and bring out the good in people rather than relate to their negative aspects and draw on that. I know some people who seemingly cannot function in daily Hmm I think I can be quite indecisive to a fault and always struggled with communicating my feelings.I'm also naturally introverted and pretty adverse to stuff like drugs and drinking so it greatly limits my preferred company.
  8. ^Huh that's a good point. Looking back a lot of really good dubs are action anime of some sort. Slice of Life is pretty niche for western fans so they naturally don't get as much effort or priority for dubbing studios.
  9. Have a pokemon with flash fire. You will appreciate it later on.
  10. Blake is friends with like, no one. He's basically your typical antisocial internet narcissist in Reborn form. Anybody who plays games online knows the exact kind of stereotype I'm talking about because they infest online gaming communitties and often one of the worst things about them. Lacks empathy, absolute dick, incredibly selfish, huge ego, spouts crap in the forms of meme-speak, trolls, inferiority complex, hates losing, etc. He was never friends with Fern and the two just aligned out of common interest. Blake respected him at first because he saw himself in Fern, but not to where he'd consider him a friend. In Blake's mind, he doesn't need friends. He may or may not care about Cal. Considering he was willing to push him off a cliff...I'd say he doesn't too much. I have a feelig Blake will end up betraying Team Meteor later on, although not because they're bad, but because he doesn't care and it'll be in his own best interest. Blake is probably one of the most selfish characters in Reborn. .
  11. But what PULSE would that be? PULSE Porygon?
  12. Actually being rocky field makes more sense than a cave. The cave is like MASSIVE to where the ceiling is too high for your earthquake to effectively collapse the ceiling.
  13. I wouldn't go as far to say that Blake isn't sexist(he definitely has shades of it although not to Texen's extent), but Blake's antics feel more in line with his role as Cal's counterpart/Team Meteor associate while Texen's only defining trait so far is that he's a massive asshole who somehow got okay'd by the league. He's TOO much of a jerk to where he's just entirely unlikable and a bit unbelievable in that he became gym leader. I think if he's fleshed out more later on he'd be better but yeah I'm not a fan of him at all, although I don't think we're supposed to be. Tex is like Gamergater with pokemon.
  14. Kingsman was quite good and very fresh. Also made me appreciate English culture just a wee bit more. I still haven't seen mad Max yet. My dad HATED it but I don't think he "gers it."
  15. ^Idk maybe you're just watching the wrong anime dubs then? There's quite a few good English performers out there who put their soul into it and do a good job. I mean your only experience is SAO? Like come on dude...
  16. Well I'd say for the worse, the worst would be gen 1 battle mechanics LOL
  17. In all honesty, I like pokemon battling more when megas weren't a thing.
  18. OPTIC BLAST! OPTIC BLAST! OPTIC BLAST! BEHOLD OPTIC BLAST!!!!
  19. Field effects are a big one. Electric terrain isn't the best field but the fact you can cancel out another one, it not having many penatlies and that electric types generally get good use out of several different fields makes having an electric type with the move pretty useful.
  20. Shelly's anorith throws me for a loop every playthrough. It can one-shot your fire types no problem and is faster than he looks.
  21. Zoroark or someone from gen 5. Best gen not getting the love it deserves FTL. It's the only gen in Smash without a playable rep...okay gen 3 too I guess.
  22. So like, can we agree, that Trunks with his classic 90s hair and Toriyama jacket swinging his sword down on Frieza and then owning his daddy right after being one of the hypest moments ever? Always felt like when Trunks grew out his hair he got weaker. I mean he supposedly got stronger but he jobbed so much more. Kid Trunks is balls and I hate him. And i could never buy Vegeta marrying Bulma, it still boggles me to this day, even if Battle of the Gods gave us one of the BestGeta moments ever. But Trunks' debut was such a game changer.
  23. Pokemon has more depth than probably over half the shooters people parade as "mature" gaming.
