Kiki shouldn't be too hard. But Serra... Oh, Serra...

kiki has alot of sweepers tho

Kiki definitely has some hard hitters. I don't think they'll last much longer, in all honesty. I hope for the best, but I'm expecting the worst here. I wonder if they know about the Garchomp fight yet?

Well, the garchomp fight wont count because the story progresses anyway but their reactions will be fun.

I swept Kiki with a Fearow alone, I actually doubt Kiki will leave a dent in them, esp if Nappy plays it right with the Staraptor.

Actually, for both Shade and Kiki, a Decidueye and Fearow is all you'll ever need.

Yeah, Kiki's field is also one of the easier ones to play on IMO. Easy to turn it against her.

I don't think they'll have particular problems with the next few big battles.

Serra strikes me as the most likely next "oh fuck" moment. Though I do think the Bennett battle beforehand serves as enough of a wake-up slap in terms of preparing them for the mirror arena. I don't think they'll charge into the Serra fight unprepared after that, seeing how Bennett demonstrates the concept of the field quite well.

PULSE Abra might take a few lives, too. It's not hard to defeat once you hit it, but few things like getting hit in the process, so there may be a heroic death or two.

I have high hopes for Aya myself. She's where the game usually stops kidding around and gets serious for me so yeah

I found Shade reasonably tough two out of four playthroughs. But Aya with her E16 team was a monster and I struggled for some time against her. If only she did not have that Toxapex, though it can be troublesome when spike setting. I naven't the foggiest as to how the pretentious pentathletes will handle her.

My hope is that they at least live to reach Tanzen Mountain. If they do that, I feel like they would continue playing even if they completely fail the nuzelock. On the other hand, if they go down in the Wasteland, I question if they'll bother going forward.

Serra is in my opinion, the worst designed fight in the game. I genuinely despise her field. It's so easy to turn against her but that doesn't matter given how utterly frustrating it is to play on it otherwise. Hoping to see none of them wipe on that piece of shit..

I don't know man, Kiki was never a problem for me, and frankly I believe they'll find her not too hard either. But, Noel, on the other hand, I agree, he might pose a threat, maybe even more than Serra considering if they destroy her field Serra becomes too easy. But on the field, they're gonna get evasion hax'd and go insane.

I actually find radomus to be the hardest since i love fast mons that trick room was annoying, i don't think kiki would be a threat if you understand how she fight she just kept going for her signature move (psychic+fighting strength) on my skunktank litterally easiest battle in a monodark

Tbh i don't think they're going to be in actual danger of a total wipe now until Arceus. They have access to a good amount of variety now and more events will keep unlocking as they go, in keeping with the trend of handing out good mons for that leader before the fight itself. Arceus however comes completely out of left field and can ohko a lot of things in the game at a point where they will at most have status moves and not likely to have stat reduction moves to deal with it. So stormy waters, but the boat won't topple over yet.

You ever think maybe one of them checks this thread btw?

I doubt it, but if anyone would find it it would be Mo. He would be the guy to get an account here to ask some things and look some things up, finding this and in turn just saying "Wow wtf I didn't know it was this big a think on the official site"

This is how I predict the big fights up until Charlotte will go:

PULSE Muk: little to no losses

Cal: One or two losses but nothing major

Azurine Taka: No losses

Kiki: A couple of losses

Obsidia Cain: Maybe a loss or two

Wasteland Fern: None

Aya: There will be a few losses

Sirius/Sigmund: Maybe a loss or two

Bennett: A few losses here

Serra: One or two of them will white out

Steelix & PULSE Abra: A couple of losses

Noel: Either very few losses or total carnage

Arceus: Quite a few losses, they might consider the mulligan

Vanhanen Cain: Shouldn't be any losses

Radomus: Shouldn't be many losses, maybe one?

Iolia Bennett: A couple of losses

Luna: Should be no losses

Samson: There will be a few losses

Aster & Eclipse: A few losses here

Charlotte: Either one or two losses or a Shade experience

The ones that lose against Serra are the ones that don't have Mamo/Piloswines with EQ by the time they get to her or Magnetons with Tri-Attack or Mirror Shot.

Unless there are other ways that the mirror field can be dealt with that they A. have access too and B. is easily obtainable.

EDIT: That or PULSE MUK just kills everything but thats probably not gonna happen

Especially  Decidueye. Ghost type renders fighting type moves useless. Plus a fun fact: Decidueye can learn Nature Power which on this field turns into Meditate. Drastically boost Attack stat.

Aya if they have a good ground tipe should be no problem. If they have a nidoking or a nidoqueen they should win easy

Posted

even if they have ground type it doesn't help much since Aya's field nerfs ground type attacks so earthquake and bulldoze is out of the question, they're only hope is using psychic types or someone with earth power which i think only camerupt and Nidoking/queen have so far.

if they survive until Aya though...

lets remember that its a nuzlocke that they are doing. Theres a possibility that they may not even have access to these mons. Lets see what there teams look like first if anything.,

That 'Corey' you saw is part of the Zorua event

And I guess they already considered this nuzlocke as 'lost' since all of them whited out at some point. Good to see them continue though (although idk why they are still nuzlocking it rip)

I'm pretty sure the rule was it was lost when they all white out in one fight?

Nope, they say in the episode that they lost.
