I doubt it as well. It took like years just to get to this point with V13, trying to make another fangame as either a sequel or otherwise would take way too much time. And what would you even base the plot around that the postgame wouldn't do already? It just doesn't seem feasible to me.
-
So when you say removed boss battles/rift battles, does that include the whole 'break shield' mechanic that V13 currently has? Just asking for more elaboration that's all. And does these 'boss battles' include the shadow dens in route 4 or is that routes mechanics getting an overhaul to accommodate for the boss battle removal? Regardless the maps are fantistic and that you are getting all the breaks you could want. Keep up the good work!

You know what, that's on me fair enough. Forgot how old this Nuzlocke was and didn't consider that possibility the underground had nothing in it during the older versions.
-
The issue with Silvally is that a) it's in the Forsaken Laboratory, which I believe was already taken due to Nuzlocke rules being one encounter per area, event pokemon included I'm sure. And b) and this is the most important one because spoilers, So even if the quest was taken and you do meet the pokemon, it can't actually be used due to Nuzlocke rules.

Breeding shadow moves
VMeemes replied to Progfan_r's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
I am like 99% certain that's not possible. Mainly because shadow pokemon tend to have illegal moves that are justified because of story reasons. Because Ponyta can't learn Fell Stinger naturally or through egg moves, you can't have its spawn also have Fell Stinger.- 2 replies

Pokemon Desolation E5 Discussion
VMeemes replied to Posty's topic in Official Desolation Club's Discussions
Mostly just asking since I do want to give this a shot in a bit, but are trade evolutions a thing or do they work like in rejuvenation and there's a dedicated item for it? -
I think Jan said something about this actually? That while Reborn's release is ongoing, the forums for Rejuvenation were going to be hidden (though when this was said at the time, the forums were just gone. Couldn't even access the Rejuv side of things). Though as of now? Don't know why its still hidden. Probably for safety reasons, as you said with Nintendo copyright. Can't imagine what a Nuzlocke of the game is like, I was just seeing what the latest messages were. Should check this series out sometime.

Need help with my Pokémon team.
VMeemes replied to RealLynn's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
Clash or not, its always nice to have a pokemon with the same type but a different purpose. See contrary Malamar vs Espurr for example. Just keep it off to the side though and only bring it up when needed. And I don't know if buddy is still looking at this thread, but on route 4 you can encounter Frillish in those dens for water/ghost coverage. Plus you get free moves it can't normally learn either, so it's a win. Of course it still is a shadow pokemon at the end of the day so there's work for that. Then again that's if you want to level it up with you, you can just shove it into the PC and use the purify thing on it for faster results. -
Movesets for All Crest Pokemon
VMeemes replied to Matt.'s topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
This guide is actually more up to date (as well as it can be anyway since the last post was in November 2021) but it does have coverage for Druddigon and Vespiquen, in addition to others such as Delcatty, Swalot, and others who have been given crests in V13. There has been no other posts since then however, so hey now you get to possibly do that on your own. -
I think? Guardian Signs is the only game I could think of that had Arceus actually attacking at one point. But with my very vague memory I can say that it looks eerily similar.

Have you tried uninstalling it and then back again? Cause that has never happened to me before. -

Skarmory is in the game, though not until nearly near the end of the current version of the game. I think around episode 12-13, maybe 14. So you'll be able to grab one, just not until what's nearly considered the end of the current version of the game. Dragapult's line on the other hand is not obtainable legit and you would need debug mode for that. Milotic's regional variant line is good until version 14, where Jan and the others have said that the gift pokemon will be removed from Gearan labs. But who knows how long that will take so use that to your advantage if you are using that version. As for recommendations, that's tricky. I'd say use pokemon that can utilize the field to your advantage, if not outright null it. Though that's tricky as well given the pokemon you get. -
Silvally is one I would probably replace, if only because its crest isn't available in-game unless you're using debug mode. Besides that I would say making a sandstorm team though I don't remember if tyranitar is in the game yet. The sandstorms giving more added special defense can be a boon to most pokemon depending on the fight.

My theory is that they'll mainly be poison types with some mysterious second typing once it evolves. Like they're sea slugs, and those guys can be poisonous. So that's what I think it'll be going for, complete with poison related abilities such as poison touch and the like, assuming the stats would change to be more physically offensive/more defensive in places.

I get it's mostly a minor thing to be excited over, but I love how the shadow looks on that Arceus statue! It's something that probably didn't need to be put in, but it's a neat little detail that shows care for it. As for the content, yeah I was more or less in agreement. When you look at the dlc as part of swsh and only one at a time it doesn't feel like a whole lot. But when you pack both of them together and look at it as a separate thing it suddenly is a whole lot of work. I was not expecting the Shellos line though to be given the regional form treatment though! When you mentioned it I was expecting something like, 'oh here's more of Snorunt's line, complete with christmas bulb Galilee and whatever Froslass is gonna be since Terajuma is getting the big update (the Shroomish line notwithstanding).' But no it's the cute little slug mons instead. Wasn't expecting it, though on the super off chance I do another run of the game I'll see if I can fit the little guy in there. Especially if it's a shiny, you guys make good shiny sprites.

Alright since according to Zumi the Aevium dex entries can't be visible at the moment and or how there is (currently as far as I am aware) no thread detailing what said dex entries say, I figured until the forbidden lore gets dropped we make up our own versions of them for fun. There is no limit as to how many pokemon one can do, as everyone may have a different idea for it. I'll start it off with Munna, who probably seems to be the easier one. Munna, Dream Eater Pokemon (Aevium form) Due to the bad dreams plaguing the inhabitants of Aevium shortly after the calamity, Munna consumed many to the point of acquiring a better taste for bad dreams and nightmares rather than pleasant ones.

That's fair. I was thinking it from the perspective of (if you're like me) you don't go back to every area with a new rod or a new move or whatever. At least Cartos Mountain provides a permanent way of getting qwilfish rather than potentially and permanently losing out on it because someone didn't go back to check before Neo Gearen City rolls around, which takes away all sewer encounters.
-
While this thread is very likely inactive/dead, I think Hisuian Qwilfish could be somewhere where there's poison? Though I'm mostly basing this off of Overqwil's dex entry of its diet consisting of poison. The only place where I could think of where this could apply though is the area of Cartos Mountain where you need to go grab the magma rock to thaw out Kristiline Town. It's early enough for someone to get due to story events, and there are 'water' sections on the map. Though it isn't true water so hard to say.
-
I can't really blame Valor Mountain for how it is. Bunch of surfing related bugs to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if that place has the most bug reports on it. It has to be the biggest undertaking area wise because of its switching gimmick, which in turn makes a lot of bugs.

Are we finally going to ditch IVs on v14?
VMeemes replied to MhicKy's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Discussions
It says over on bulbapedia that when there are multiple valid types, it's randomized between them. So if you have a bug/flying type for example it could randomly switch between fire, electric, ice, and all the types that bug/flying would be weak to. It can switch to rock, but from what it says on the site it changes each turn, so you could easily just get everything else but rock. 50 power is near useless sometimes unless you have a pokemon with technician or you really need the coverage. I don't use it myself because of how situational it is, not to mention just not getting how IVs work besides they make my stat go up and that's about it. Whether or not it's a nerf or a buff, hidden power still has niche uses for teams. That doesn't mean they're going to get rid of IVs though, that shits staying for sure. -
I like some of the people here say to wait until the next game. Frostbite is balanced around the fact that Legends is basically a single player game as well as the agile/strong system. Imagine having freeze with that system instead of frostbite. And there's also the fact that frostbite (I think, haven't gotten to the snow area yet) can't be on ice types, so gotta program all that in as well. And another thing is the items. While the burn orb isn't in the game itself yet, we would eventually get something similar, assuming that frostbite stays for the next game. Freeze is an annoyance yes, but how often are you packing ice type moves? Sleep is more of a team killer then frostbite is. And there's another point as well, even if it is minor: Abilities. How would those mix with this new status, and which one would get you more power from it (like if a pokemon that normally isn't ice type gets ice body be immune to the status? Or could it be clever and add in an ability that heals from it instead?). Moves everyone has said already so the point still stands on that. But another point is how it would interact with fields. Would ice fields be able to have a chance to inflict frostbite or something similar if the damage route is taken (I think the volcano fields can inflict burn but it's been awhile so I am very likely to be wrong). TLDR, wait until the next game rolls around, then go on from there.

See you would think it would work like that but after testing it out with the Shuppet you get in the Gearen Apartments (now a Banette that's a member of my team) for Destiny Bond, the Sheridan move relearner just straight up teaches egg moves. So you don't need to do any egg breeding anymore. Do it right now, just take any pokemon you have, look it up on the rejuvenation wiki for egg moves, and go to the move relearner. If it shows even two of the moves, egg breeding is obsolete. Edit: This is the Deino you would get from the Alter at the Isle of Angels, level 30, never been touched ever. Eggs moves on the wiki are the first 4 moves you see here. Breeding is obsolete.

I guess while I'm at it I'll throw in a Swalot set as well (note that I am not exactly great when it comes to EV spreads, so they may end up looking like nonsense and a case of spreading too thin). Swalot @ Swalot Crest Ability: Liquid Ooze EVs: 252 HP/ 192 Attack / 64 Special Defense or Defense Brave Nature - Gunk Shot - Belch - Seed Bomb - Rest/Toxic This set, unorthodox as it is, aims to utilize the combined power of both Belch and Spit Up (assuming that's how it works). Because while stall is good and fine, you have Belch, a move with 120 base power plus STAB. When you use that with Spit Up as a follow up, depending how many Stockpiles you have you more or less have a powerful poison type move followed by a move that (when full up on Stockpile charges) is more powerful than Explosion. Swalot isn't a powerhouse by all means but both of those at the same time may either severely damage or just straight up KO most pokemon. Rest is to keep Swalot Healthy and add a Stockpile charge while Seed Bomb is used for ground coverage. Ice Punch is also an option if you want more coverage at the cost of less power. Like I said, unorthodox, but this was a set that was on my mind.
