Ah I see. I was not aware of this reasoning behind the Infernape Crest. So it wasn't intended to be useful but rather just as an equalizer? I suppose I can understand that. That's a bit better, perhaps it also lowers speed to even it out the odds a bit. I'd love Drain Punch on my Infernape as well. Although I have no idea what I'd be willing to part with for it if anything. I do like Mach Punch for the priority, priority moves have been something of a carrier for me throughout this game and Close Combat is a really good sweep move so I'm not sure I could give either of them up. Then I have Fire Punch to go with Iron First and Flare Blitz as the second stab sweeper.

No, this would be extremely busted because Jolteon out-speeds most ground-types. There is no reason to use a Jolteon against a ground type over a water or grass type. Even if you're doing an Electric monotype there are other ways around ground types such as Water, Grass or Ice HP or a Grass Knot Raichu. I concur. The Infernape crest needs to please be changed. I was so excited to get it because I started with Chimchar and then it disappointed me when I saw the garbage effect. Infernape is designed to compensate for being frail with speed and heavy physical offense therefore flipping it's attack and defense stats unbalances it. It's much the same concept with most Pokemon, most Pokemon's stats are designed with certain advantages in mind. Most of the Eeveelutions are designed to be fast and heavy hitters which works for them so doesn't need to be tampered with. Even with the double-edge sword factor sometimes requiring more strategical planning, auto weather/terrain on Vaporeon and Sylveon is just an unneeded free stab boost vs. how Snow Warning and Drought can complement moves such as Solar Beam and Blizzard on more fragile or disadvantaged Pokemon. With their speed and because Sylveon is actually kind of tanky they're fine set-up performers. Now this one I'd kind of be into because Espeon can learn Dazzling Gleam and although I like Espeon I have found that it's difficult if not impossible to build a well-rounded team with single types. Duel-types are a bit more useful. However, Espeon is already tough as an opponent and this would kind of break it in terms of resistances. Therefore although I like it and it makes some sense, I'm uncertain that it's a good idea.

It's been a while but I'm almost certain this is what I did as well. I definitely relied almost solely on the Shadow Ball Eevee in that battle. -
That's true and my win rate would be absolutely abysmal as well without restarting. It would be interesting if there was a mechanic that somehow prevented resetting during battle and the characters noticed your win rate but it would also be hell and I'd hate it. So yeah THIS IS NOT A SUGGESTION JAN! Lol. In Reborn it's even borderline cheating because there are a few relationship points for defeating a couple of gym leaders on the first try. Fortunately the relationship points don't mean as much in Reborn as in Rejuvenation. At least not yet.

Try reloading a previous save as instructed above and either restart the event from the beginning or return to the last story progression you did, redo that and progress back to the point of the bug from there. This worked for me when I had a progression bug as Erin in Ch.15. -
I don't recall Crescent revealing that Crescent wasn't her actual name but I do recall her mentioning a brother she wasn't close with named Mϋn (which due to a Netflix film I watched a while ago, I think is pronounced 'mew-n'), a name that compliments Crescent because I think it means 'moon'. I tried to put it into Google translate but it didn't recognize it and without the accent it's an Arabic word meaning 'from'. I might have gotten the accented U wrong but that is the closest my character map app has. I wonder if we'll learn more about this brother and their falling out or perhaps even meet him. I agree with this. It was probably a sarcastic jab at Crescent's obsessive and controlling nature. Even discounting the fact that it was Clear impersonating Crescent who manipulated Nim the real Crescent has still illustrated herself to be obsessive and controlling of the MC (i.e lying to Ren to use him as a mole in Team Xen and her insistence that she be the MC's only friend. "No, they're not your friends, I'm your friend").

Nope, as far as I am aware their fate is uncontrollable. At the time, I felt as though that statement foreshadowed a time travel event in which we return to the valor mountain event and change it but considering how far along the game is now and the impact of Nim's fate I no longer see that happening.

Note: Start the first video at 0:27 to skip the Adam battle. I'd have to watch these again with the speed slowed down so I can catch all of the dialogue but I got the gist and daaamn. What I am still not understanding though is if the MC is the one who turned her in and told Cassandra why is she so pissed at Florin?
-
That is my original question here. The interceptor (the player) is a separate soul from the fusion of that class and I would like to know where that soul came from. The most we are told is that they're "a being from another world". The MC's nightmare realm only scratched at the surface and essentially revealed the host's past not the interceptor's. I do like the 4th wall theory that was suggested, that the interceptor is literally the actual player sitting at their computer making the choices but due to the implied connection with Melia I am not entirely convinced that that's it. Yes, I want to know where Ana fits in since the tombstone outside the school establishes that she died before Storm-9. Unfortunately, someone confirmed in another thread that other than some dialogue differences and Aevis being shown as the last survivor with Crescent who's body becomes the host, the nightmare realm doesn't change when playing as her despite that she wasn't there for that event. Which is honestly kind of sloppy and disappointing even though I respect that a lot of work is going into this game and went into this chapter in particular.
-
Right. Actual events and other information don't line up with this, i.e Alexandra claims that the one who presses the reset button should be the one individual who remembers the previous timeline but the MC does not. However this is all we've been told thus far. It's still all very obscure and uncertain. Hence chapter 15's title "vague clarity". I expect that Adrest himself will finish clearing everything up in V14 when we awaken him which we're ready to do.

From what I've heard the MC does have full sentences in this same event. It never occured to me to try it but apparently at one point while you're controlling Aelita if you talk to your MC they will say something different to her depending on your relationship points with her. "Be careful, don't do anything dumb" or something to that effect is one of the possible lines. -
Damn, caught red handed !

Hahaha, that's epic! -
As pointed out partnering with Flora, turning her in and telling Cassandra, which from what I've read results in a character death; Florin is the only path that is currently known to be added to the bad ending calc. Though going by YT partnering with Flora even without turning her in or telling Cassandra doesn't seem to be the best for your karma. I could be wrong on that but I remember watching someone who partnered with Flora but didn't turn her in and got the unsure assessments from Adrest and Celine ("their intentions are unclear" or something to that effect). I can't remember their other choices however.
