Thanx for the confirmation Zumi. It's a shame, as the rift Stakataka at least thus far doesn't have the same edge but the change is entirely understandable for reasons I have already stated in my previous post. This incredible game is well worth avoiding the risk of ruining it's reputation.

I watched the Darkari/Crysselia episodes of Pokemon Masters Journeys last night and it made me think of this game. I am now super intrigued to find out how Crysselia might play into this plot since it's Darkari's counterpart. I also just read the development blog and my excitement for E6 is renewed. @Yumil's NPC astuteness in particular looks super dope!

Rozetheeuwu covered it but sacrificing friendship points to lower the hype shouldn't be necessary unless you're going for the bad ending. Amber is the easiest gym leader IMO (especially since V13 apparently nixed the Smack Down cheese against Souta) and I am in Normal mode. From watching on Youtube, V13 appears to have nerfed her even by replacing her Magmortar with A-Toxtricity which only added to her existing ground weakness.

That's right, he was behind the spell interruption and Blakeory. Since the spell didn't provide complete protection Vitus still got his storm-9 but I still don't understand what he gained from getting Blakeory to manipulate Hazuki. Yes, I am surprised this isn't a more popular discussion, it's quite curious indeed that Nim seemed to know MC when she first came into our world. My best guess is that it was a foreshadow to another time travel event that is coming up in V14.

As an individual with mild autism who has trouble processing disorganized information, this is the first that timeline has made sense to me. As an added bonus, at one point pre-coma, Anju can be found standing in front of a vendor in the Hiyoshi City marketplace and if you talk to her she tells you that she's having a custom pendent made. I'm pretty sure this is the pendant that is in the MC's bag if one does the Anju side event in Chrysalis manor. There however, are still a couple of minor flaws in this fantastic timeline. 1. Nymeria's consciousness/soul is NOT within Nim as illustrated by the spiritual version of her that appears to Saki and gives her Registeel. Nim is her body inhabited by a Nihilego. 2. The events of the Prologue occur at the abandoned house with the Anti-social squatter and the Gardevoirite which is quite a distance from Hiyoshi City and considering Anathea's death by Tangrowth in the Kugearen event the prologue appears to be some form of AU. Either an event we changed by participating in the past or perhaps a previous universe reset. I don't understand how Vitus/Indraid had any involvement with Vivian's madness. I suppose he could have given the Garufan spell book to Kanon to give to Vivian to set her up for the curse but I don't see what he gains from it, from her reincarnations not to mention someone said that Nymeria had given Vivian her blessing to perform the spell and Hazuki was corrupted by the Puppet Master revealing the truth of Blakeory's deceit to her.

From what I've gathered Rockruff's availability during the 1st badge arc was removed in V13 due to being too OP early game so you shouldn't even have a Rockruff at your point in the game. I believe all Lycanroc forms are exclusively available on route 9 now which is at least at the halfway point perhaps a little over. Even in V12 there was only ONE Own Tempo Rockruff and it was obtained in a trade on Oceana Pier to honor the Dusk form's canon event exclusivity.

Nim's statement doesn't necessarily contradict Hazuki's account. Thomas Blakeory Sr. had a hidden agenda of securing an asset when he rescued Hazuki and had convinced her to leave with him by telling her that Nymeria and Anju had been rescued as well which was a lie. Therefore it is possible that she was fighting along side her fellow disciples and Blakeory had orchestrated her isolation to set up the rescue.

Granted I've never done the V13 Chrysalis Manor arc (I'm continuing a save file started in V12), just from watching them on Youtube I concur that the puzzles appear to be obnoxious. As someone who has just been diagnosed with mild autism and finds it difficult to concentrate under a time constraint and/or in a fast paced environment, I can see myself struggling with these puzzles. Not to mention apart from the Tangrowth robot or whatever it is which is a clever symbol of Anathea's murder the puzzles feel disconnected and distracting from the objective of character rescues. V12's Chrysalis Manor puzzles might have been simple but had a more authentic feel to them that gave a sense that the MC was being personally tested whereas V13's are more of a demented circus act that feels there for the sake of extravagance. On the other hand, I find the context of the arc, how the past super-imposes over the present layout of the city and the POV when Marionette frees the MC to be some of the finest rework of V13. It so much cleaner and cohesive.

Considering that Karen is unstable and has committed murder she should have been replaced before the starting point in game's timeline, long before her life was on the line but the Avium league has almost been in ruins for some time for the most part because the administrators have been neglecting to provide replacements for displaced or unfit members. Up until Alice and Allen just stepped up, the Elite 8 weren't even necessary as two gym leader positions were empty (dark and fairy), three for a while, until the Neverwinter Normal leader was appointed which happened around the time of the GDC tournament. In fact having the GDC tournament give out a complete set of badges was probably the league's lazy fix it for this. I wouldn't be surprised if those who killed Karen ended up facing an Elite 7. (I'm really not looking forward to the Elite 8, that's gonna be the 9 circles of Hell.)

I've never noticed the ribbon thing and don't even remember for sure which one I chose but I'm guessing it is a sprite bug like the invisible Aero in the MC's nightmare realm. The 5th time traveler is either: - Anathea's ghost within the Soul Stone - Adrest snoozing in the MC Inn (I loved Venom's soul hotel comment). - Madame X. I would say Adrest is least likely since he's a part of the MC who was already counted and if Adrest could be counted as separate from us than how wasn't the rest of the MC class. Although we know Madame X can time travel in this instance she seemed confused when she appeared in the ruined present with us suggesting that she was pulled into the timeline change by her own amulet or whatever she uses to exist in and/or remain astute of all alternate timelines. This leaves Anathea as the most likely 5th time traveler.

As stated that password is NOT related to the tournament, it's for a gift and is obtained via specifically getting the true ending in the optional but recommended spin-off game 'Where Love Lies' that tells Keta's and Taelia's backstory. The reason I say it's recommended is because it fills in the context of Aelita's stories from her side adventures.

Did you give the Magma Stone to Cera and as such have to enter the mountain event through Crawli's gym? In V12 it used to be that the Emotion Powder/Kyogre event trigger encounter was bugged in that route so that you had to progress until Saki gave you Magma Drift then leave again through Crawli's Gym and re-enter from the front. Or something like that. I don't know if it's the same in V13.

Yes. I'm surprised no one has brought the fact that Nim's first word when she appeared in our dimension/timeline was our name sooner. She also resembles both Nymeria and Alexandra so my theory is that Nim is Nymeria possessed by a Nihilego. We know that Storm-9 hit right after we left Hiyoshi city (in the hospital in Zone Zero there are signs next to each room listing the last patient to have used them and the MC's name is listed next to the first room on the left from the Ren arc during which the MC is in a coma) but not what happened to Nymeria, the last we see her is in the underground where we fought Gardevoir before we defeat Gardevoir. A Nihilego could have gotten her during Storm-9 as it did the MC class but because she seems to be some kind of goddess (i.e Hazuki talking about being recognized by Nymeria as worthy and Nymeria's own non-corporeal appearance to Saki) instead of turning to stone immediately, her soul was able to fuse with the Nihilego or something along those lines. I know this is probably more reaching than logical but I just can't ignore her resemblance to Nymeria and Alexandra. Nim has to have something to do with Nymeria beyond just her name being inspired by her. I agree. I still maintain that Crescent somehow forced her way into Zeight as our co-host and that it possibly should have been Melia since Melia seems to be the only other character who has a connection to the core similar to the MC's. She certainly isn't above it, she's obsessive, manipulative and made it clear on a few occasions that she doesn't accept us having relationships outside of her. (i.e "They're my friends" Crescent: "Them? Your friends? No, I'm your friend.")

I believe I encountered a bug. The reporter in the palace/first gym requests 4 interviewees, I found the 4th person (a bug catcher) and sent him off but he never showed up in the rest area and the reporter still claims I have only found 3 people. If there is a fix for this though I might be too late for it as I've beaten the gym leader and am well into the palace raid event.

Hmm, well I believe the report I read was pre 13.4 so it's possible that one was fixed.

In that case, it's probably a bug. It seems there are a few terrain bugs out there right now. Not long ago someone reported a similar problem with the psychic terrain, apparently it was failing to nullify priority moves used against grounded targets which is something it's supposed to do.

In V12 Drought Heat Wave Torkoal was a Magma Stone to her Never-melt-ice. Not only is the Heat Wave boosted by the sun but it gets rid of the ice on the field.

Although I've only done this battle in V12 this was my strat as well. Two Sylveon, one with a Magical Seed for an auto Trick Room, one with Misty Terrain to nullify LK, one managing to pull off a Calm Mind and a double Moonblast assault. Granted the main reason for having two Sylveon was that I was a dumbfuck and didn't take the gift Sylveon back to the city to get it Misty Terrain from the move relearner, the double Moonblast was an unexpected wrecking ball. The Magical Seed is the most important factor, it's pretty much the only way to go first.

As far as I am aware that bridge can't currently be repaired. I'm assuming it's a future side quest.
