I mean, I've failed to figure out how to leave before hand, and it's a bit too late now. At least both places have wilds you can work with.

I've only done one playthrough so far, starting from V9, so I'm not familiar with any battles that were changed since then. That said, I struggled most against Angie and Marianette- the for mer because, well, it's Angie, and the latter because Snuggles pretty much bodied my entire rotation. Incidentally, they're both Gym Leaders that cut you off from the Help Centers until you beat them...

Between the Storm Chasers, the Mysterious Figures, Crescent, Madame X, and our party all mucking about with the timeline all the time, is it really any any surprise that the world's becoming more unstable by the day? ...Hopefully that doesn't translate IRL and muck up the production schedule. A new game-ruining bug cropping up now would be unfortunate for everyone involved...

All we know about the fusion so far is that Garufan Magictm, which isn't exactly a well-defined plot device quite yet. They do seem to require the Phase Dial to use the magic, so it's probably some sort of spell focus for them. ...Apparently, I've been accelgor'd. Whoops.

It... came out of the machine in a whited out version of Madame X's armor, before it started tormenting the Xen Grunt. My guess is that thing is where the Rift Matter came from, since Zetta doesn't know about it and the Amethyst Factory is pretty far out of the way in general...

I don't think the chandelure is actually relevant here- it disguised itself as that Xen Grunt's mother before shifting into Nancy, so it was probably just running off the memories of lost loved ones. Besides, that chandelure is all but confirmed to have been Narcissa's first, I don't think Nancy ad Narcy would've met each other before the events of the game...

It's implied with all the commentary about Nancy not even being a real person, but it's never flat-out stated to my knowledge. Though the doll detail might not even change anything, seeing as the 4 Lights aren't supposed to be 'born of man' and we still don't know if the Interceptor is a separate entity from the 4v4 in the prophecy or not.

They probably mean 'Version'. Since Reborn refers to the same thing as Episodes, it's a pretty easy mistake to make.

My current team consists of the following: Medicham Lycanroc (Dusk) Muk (Alolan) Salazzle Raichu (Alolan) Oricorio (Sensu) I originally had a banette, but she was lagging behind in usefulness, it became pretty clear that I wasn't going to be able to Mega her any time soon, and a fellow Ghost Type got a fancy new Crest, so I kinda just replaced her with the oricorio. Guess my team's Alolan+ Token Future Mega at this point, huh?

A journal function? That'd be a handy backup resource for when/if I get around to doing my planned written run! It does seem like it'd take a fair bit of effort to actually implement, though- between that and V12 adding all the sidequests you weren't able to get into V11, it's no surprise that it's being pushed back a bit.

Cursed be those spoiling swine! Wait, V11 was spoiled ahead of time? I don't remember that happening... That is a valid reason to close things down a bit, though- since Rejuv. is one of the few games I have any shot at playing within close proximity to its release, I'd rather not be spoiled on it either.

I believe a couple of Bladestar Grunts bust into the courtroom in one of their flying devices and pick her up during her trial, if I remember correctly. So yes, she was still free for the assassination attempt.

It is worth noting that the BW2 character went by both 'Yancy' and 'Nancy', depending the situation- either one could be used and still imply that it's her. With what we currently know, we have no proof one way or the other that it's the same character or not.

I mean, who's to say that the situation(s) leading up to opening the box won't be long, arduous, and obnoxious even if it is obtained as part of the story? It doesn't have to be optional to feel rewarding when finally obtained, and Jan's more than capable of putting us through our paces one way or another.

As someone who's been playing as A.N.A. in my main file, I can say that playing with her sprite doesn't change that storyline- at least, not yet. It's kinda funny seeing Dylan freak out when NPC!A.N.A. busts out the Nano Drive when the player just flew into the scene with the thing already active...

...After Devastation is out of PP. That move explicitly ignores Sturdy, so said Lv. 1 geodude is just dead if thrown out before she's forced to use Struggle.

So, How do you win the Madame X fight at Blacksteeple Prison?

Doesn't work, at least not the way you probably think. There isn't a single legitimate Focus Sash available at that point in the game, and Devastation doesn't care if your pokemon has Sturdy- it's gonna die in one hit anyway. It would speed up up the last leg of the fight a bit, but you have to survive the Devastation to get to that point, and Madame X's Max Potions have higher Priority than Quick attack does. -
I don't think giving them the spoilery answer is all that beneficial- it's something best seen for oneself, I feel.
