That's a known bug that, while not fixed in Patch 12.1, did get its own mini-patch. It ultimately doesn't matter for OP, however, due to how incredibly far in the game that issue is compared to their current location. Edit: It seems that I've been accelgor'd again

ShadowDefender Returns... under a new guise...
Autumn Zephyr replied to Shadow Rysing's topic in Welcome Center
Having the word 'Shadow' in your new username? That isn't very subtle of you, Zoroark! Regardless, welcome back to the Reborn Evolved Forums! Be sure to look back over the rules, feel free to check out all we have to offer, and above all else, enjoy your stay~! -
Whoops, I may have started my Mono-Psychic run too early. Oh, well! Thanks for the official option for later runs~!

I need help starting Rejuvenation v12
Autumn Zephyr replied to Welpthatsucks's topic in Rejuvenation
The Stadium isn't accessed through Grand Dream City proper. Rather, you have to take the train that's on Route 9 to get there. Good luck with what comes once you get there~! -
One of the kids in the Lost Camp sidequest can sell Friendship Berries once he's been located, so it's in your best interest to do that if you haven't already. I believe they're no $600 a pop, though, so be prepared to lose a decent chunk of your nest egg...

One of the things they're working on for the final update is making animations for *all* of the attacks that don't have them yet. Seeing as there are a lot of those, that in and of itself seems like it'd be a great undertaking.

What's this? Has Oris 2: The Sketchening come out already? Aaaah, I haven't even watched the first one yet! ...Anyway, welcome to the Reborn Evolved Forums! Be sure to refresh yeourself on the rules, feel free to check out all we have to offer, and above all else, enjoy your second stay~!

Sleep is for people who don't have incessant nags nagging at their other incessant nags first thing in the morning...

Hmm, this one seems like it'd be really tough to work out without further Debugging. I don't believe there are any repeatable Trainers with fixed Natures and IVs in Rejuvenation (even the Audino Caretakers are randomized each time you face them), which is certainly a bit of an issue here. Still, you seem certain that it's a direct damage up, so that does narrow the options down quite a bit...

Ethical hacking, huh? Okay, but have you tried ethical slashing? *Ahem* Anyway! Welcome to the Reborn Evolved Forums, a platform you don't need to jump to maneuver through! Be sure to read up on the rules (if you haven't already), feel free to check out what we have to offer, and above all else, enjoy your stay~!

If Fairy!Silvally did indeed have Serene Grace, then Crush Claw would be guaranteed to lower the target's Defense if they survived. Failure to do so means that either it doesn't have Serene Grace. or that the target has one of the following Abilities: Clear Body, White Smoke, Flower Veil (as a Grass Type; this is basically impossible in the wild), Full Metal Body (why are you using Normal moves on a Legendary Steel Type?!), or Shield Dust. Regardless, I'd say that it's too soon for you to be disappointed quite yet, Cyphre.

The Keystone itself is obtained elsewhere- they're rare finds in mining rocks, for example. The speaking to thirty people thing comes after you put it in the Tower. Oh, and don't forget that spiritomb will only spawn at night.

The Last, Only, and Very Final X% Hype Thread
Autumn Zephyr replied to Amethyst's topic in Reborn City
There isn't really a canonical reason for it, no. The best I've found is that it's because the nidos are partially based on rhinos, the females of whom are notoriously difficult to breed in captivity (which being in a Trainer's possession qualifies as), while the males can get it on just fine; on the other hand, the rhyhorn line doesn't have this issue, and are even more rhino-like than the the nidos, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In the end, it's probably just GameFreak being stupid with some small details again. -
The whole mansion's a bit of a puzzle, and you're not quite done with it yet. You won't be until you manage to reach the well in the backyard.
-
If you want to put all your stock in Sucker Punch, then yeah, maybe not. Silvally does have the same Attack stat, however, is a bit faster by default, and can easily get away with running either a Special or Mixed set to catch people off-guard, so it's not like silvally isn't competitive. Though this particular Ability might be viewable as permission to run Return+3 support moves-now that that pesky Ghost immunity is gone, there isn't anything that can completely nullify its attacks in that unfortunate situation where it's your last 'mon standing or something...

Talk to 30 people across the Darchlight Forest (read: talk to a few people several times, because there aren't 30 unique NPCs), then talk to the Crumbling Tower while you have an Odd Keystone in your possession. That last step has to be done at night, by the way.
-
I recall hearing that it does, and have reported as such before. I just doubt that it also has the +20% boost to STAB as well, seeing as that part of the Crest's mechanics was designed to make up for silvally's lack of Held Item slot, and Normal!Silvally clearly still has that.

The Last, Only, and Very Final X% Hype Thread
Autumn Zephyr replied to Amethyst's topic in Reborn City
If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say Cresselia's been making the team take actual sleep breaks lately. -
Yeah, Grass' endgame is lookin' real sweet now. Good thing Triple Battles aren't a thing anymore, because they'd get real borked otherwise!
-
Not to be a bother, @Crickzilla, but can you test to see if Grass!silvally also prevents Status Effects? That should help determine if it imitates Flower Veil specifically, or is just simply Clear Body.
-
I see that you, too, came to the 'join them' conclusion I did regarding the Elemental Seed. I swear, that skarmory practically demands sacrifice to get past! On the flip side, at least Sky Attack's buff from the Let's GO! games hasn't been added yet. Can you imagine how much more ridiculous GOD BIIIIIIRD!!! (to use the move's Japanese name) would've been to deal with if it had 200 BP instead of 140? Yikes!

Look at these lads, doin' the Lord's work! Actually, I don't think Arceus would condone gathering information on its cheap knock-off of a chimeric demiurge, but oh well. Anyway! I'll be taking this opportunity to review the given Ability list as they come up, and give my thoughts regarding what they do for our beloved silver allies.

Neither flygon, nor any member of its evolutionary line, are at the game corner at the moment. However, there's a guy who'll trade you a trapinch in exchange for a mothim in the Chrysolia Forest after the shenanigans in Spinel Town settle down, so it's still decently early in the game~

Minor bugs V12
Autumn Zephyr replied to Zumi's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Troubleshooting
Hoo, boy, this one gets real weird. Let's start with the basics: in addition to enabling you to use your own pokemon, the glitch also removes the Glitch Field from the rest of the gauntlet. This admittedly doesn't do much mechanically (outside of Bruno's hitmonlee being to roll Swallow off of Metronome), but does enable the player to see that Koga and Bruno's sprites aren't properly cleared out, as shown below: These errors are normally undetectable due to the Glitch Field's white background, so it's not that big a deal. Furthermore, choosing to take a break between Karen and Lance resets Barbara's dialogue, forcing you to do the entire gauntlet all over again. It's a true reset, though, meaning that the Virtual Team and Glitch Field will be back up and functional as if it were the first time you played through that part of the sidequest. As a side effect, Will will always be fought as intended. I've also had incident where I took advantage of the first break to swap around my party a bit, only to have the game restore the original lineup once I had beaten Lance. This turned my silvally and volcarona into other pokemon entirely, which... isn't exact a pleasant surprise. I haven't had much luck in recreating the error, however. -
Generally speaking, I'd advise against choosing a Grass starter on Intense Mode unless you're explicitly doing some sort of themed run- while they may be awesome in the current endgame, they start off at too severe a disadvantage in Rejuvenation to make it worth it between the first Gym being Poison and the second and third Dimensional Rifts being part Fire. Chesnaught's shenanigans with Spiky Shield are genuinely fun in Reborn, though. Protean greninja is protean greninja- I don't believe that needs any further explanation. It's a shame you've already ruled out primarina, though- it's the only other Water starter I haven't been personally unhappy with so far. Fire, on the other hand, is bloody stacked with amazing options. Speed Boost blaziken might be better in most peoples' eyes, but infernape really shouldn't be slept on because of it- higher base Speed, solid mixed offenses, natural access to Calm Mind and Taunt, and reliable Fighting STAB that doesn't make you instantly dead on failure allows it easily stand op tall as a high-tier choice (if it ever bothered to stop slouching over all the time- dude's gotta keep a better eye on his posture!). Delphox is pretty dang fun in these games. Being able to pop one of those powerful Seeds and then rob the enemy of an important Item via Magician to have that slot filled anyway makes for some real silly plays- nabbing Leftovers for extra longevity is great with defensive seeds, stealing an opponent's Life Orb before they can use it is a nice nerf to them and a great buff to your firepower, to give a couple examples. Mystical Fire's also a nice tool in its arsenal- though slightly weaker than Flamethrower, it does get boosted by a fair few more Field Effects than it, and has the added bonus of being guaranteed to dock the enemy's offensive potential a stage if they survive, letting it be useful for both offense and Defense as the need arises! Typhlosion is pretty bonkers as well. It's tied with entei, a Legendary pokemon, as the Eruption user with the highest Speed stat, letting it mess up a lot of things stupendously badly before they can do anything- especially in Double Battles! I mean, a 150 BP STAB attack striking both foes off of a base 109 Sp. Attack stat? That's kinda nuts! Just be sure to stop by the Move Relearner to learn it, since you'll otherwise be stuck waiting until Lv. 83 to do so. Typhlosion also has the high honor of being of the few non-Grass Types to learn Nature Power, letting it take advantage of any Field Effect you find yourself in (bar Inverse Field; using Trick Room on a speedy sweeper is generally a poor choice). It does get yet another new toy pretty late in the game, but I'm not personally all that familiar with it yet, so... yeah. Incineroar gets Intimidate. Apparently that's some sort of big deal? Darkest Lariat's also a pretty nice tool to have against Defense-boosting foes, which would otherwise be a massive pain to deal with, which gives another noteworthy point to the showy tiger.
