  1. I've been really enjoying using delphox. It's got both a nice Speed Tier and Sp. Attack stat to work with, access to a few moves that have both reasonable power and utility (really, getting Heat Wave on any Specially-oriented Fire Type's a handy investment in this game), a access to a handful of pure support moves should you need them. The thing that sets it apart of the rest, however, is its Magician Ability: it allows you to reap the benefits of a Seed item (free stat boosts!), rob an opponent of an important Hold Item, and benefit from said Hold Item yourself- all within a single round! Given the proper timing, it can easily get all the tools it needs to sweep without even trying. For a more out-of-the box type of power, you can't go wrong with typhlosion. Eruption's all sorts of nuts on its own, and pairs well with the afore-mentioned Heat Wave to mess up a large chunk of the game. Just as important, however, is that it's also one of the few Fire Types to have access to Nature Power, which allows it to take some sort of advantage over any Field Effect you come across- a handy trick to have, to be sure. Having literally the same stats as charizard means that everything the not-dragon to take out (without Solar Power), typhlosion can easily take out as well, so don't think that you're somehow cheating yourself here.
  2. Zumi mentioned that they're planning to have Gen. 8 be added in V13 in the Q&A Thread, provided that the assets they need don't go too far beyond everything else in the Version time-wise. There are people already working on making sprites in their hype for SWSH, but those likely wouldn't have taken as long to manage as the coding necessary to update the new attacks and Abilities into the battle system. At least the fact that they don't plan on adding Gen. 8's big gimmick to the game quite yet will save them some time.
  3. It'll be at least another couple years before the final Version is released. Adding new Generations of pokemon tend to tremendously slow down production time and the final Version will likely include the the Postgame (which will probably eat up a year on its own if Reborn's is anything to go by), so those two updates alone will take up a solid chunk of time. The Versions in between should be fairly quick, given how rapidfire V10-12 were, however.
  4. The link to the Mega download is on the bottom of the OP in V12's release thread. It's the one download link that isn't hidden in a spoiler.
  5. Bronzong can potentially have Heatproof (which was exclusive to it until rolycoly) and Heavy Metal as its HA, and duskull (pointlessly) has Frisk as its HA. Aside from those two cases, I don't believe that there are any other Levitaters that have another Ability option.
  6. I kinda want the game's story to just be a social commentary on the political side of the sports scene, with Zacian/Zacamenta only showing up to forcefully complain about the bad sportsmanship and shilling going on. It'd certainly be a curious change of pace compared to most Pokemon games, at least.
  7. ...I'd say it's a new pokemon entirely. It seems like GF is looking to see if they can use the Regional Variants as a means to add additional evolutions to existing lines without risking the possibility that they's tick people off by 'ruining' the existing pokemon with it like what happened with the Sinnohlution backlash. More to the specific point, there never was an "obstagoon" prior to Gen. 8, meaning that it specifically is a whole new pokemon in a similar manner to magmortar and slowking.
  8. Finally, a trailer with pokemon I'm interested in! It's a bit odd that it's the effective remakes that got me, but oh well. Galaran Weezing brings the line back up as muk's partner pokemon, it seems. A nice new defensive Subtype, a shared theme on removing the pollution that their ancestors originated from, and different ways of dealing with the accumulated toxicity. Where's Alolan Muk's crystals just sorta... appeared without much deliberate input and get in the way of any attempt is makes at being friendly, Galaran Weezing manages to keep the good and the bad separated and the former always close at hand. It's still a bad idea to try and kiss it, *especially* on the mustache, but at leas you don't have to worry about it accidentally ending you with what was meant to be a show of affection. Incidentally, the two also manage to combine the toxic themes with the nationality of their respective Rgions pretty well, with muk being pretty colorful and weezing being primarily muted grey. Not bad, I say! I'm gonna keep my thoughts on the ziggy line brief: Why the heck do I like this so much??? Kiss isn't anywhere close to my aesthetic, yet alone heavily-make up'd brutes! Help! On a more serious note, it does reveal that A) Galaran Forms aren't exclusive to Gen. 1 anymore (huzzah!), and B) they can get additional evolved forms (wut). That adds so much potential the idea compared to what Alola gave us, and the Alolan branch was already pretty nice across the board persian potentially excluded. Who knows, maybe I will wind up getting my steamboat skarmory after all! A hamster with weaponized hanger. What else really needs to be said here? All in all, I'm more amused with this batch than I was for most of the others, so... maybe I'll be "going" with a normal team after all? It certainly seems more likely now than it did before, at least.
  9. I mean, eeveelutions have been consistently cropping up on even-numbered Generations since GSC, and I'm fairly certain that the vast majority of the fanbase is hoping that the Regional Variants won't die with Z-Moves. If that's all there is to the rumor, then it really isn't much of a stretch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Of course, I'd be all for it if it is true- eeveelutions have yet to disappoint me and Regional Variants were a fun time in Gen. 7, so it'd take some serious effort to make them fall flat!
  10. I know SEC had a salandit the first time it was fought in V9 (its Water Pulse actually helped me out a lot against Crawli), though that was almost immediately replaced with the current ponyta. And if I remember peoples' reactions to finding out that the Reaper Cloth was added to the game in V10 correctly, there used to be a duskull in the Goldenleaf Invasion as well. Anyway, we know that Madelis wasn't exactly given a lot of time to work with between the end of WLL and the raid on her base, so she wasn't exactly able to make a whole lot of Shadows before losing her foothold in Sheridan, and most certainly didn't have time to ship them out before the raid like Cipher did for the raid on their factory in XD. Heck, she even left someone behind to watch over the failed Shadow pokemon in her retreat! This leads me to believe that all of the Shadow Pokemon we encounter between the fall of the Sheridan base and Nastasia stopping by the Backup Lab were ones that were already deployed elsewhere during that fiasco.
  11. It also negates the recharge/charge up times of Hyper Beam and Solar Beam, respectively, making those moves actually reasonable additions to its kit regardless of what Terrain or Weather effect is active at the time. Handy, no?
  12. The Amplifield Rock extends any created Field Effects, including those that were made by moves other than the Terrains. This includes Ion Deluge and Mist, as well as weirder things like Topsy-Turvy (it's Inverse Field is one of my favorite tricks in my Psychic Mono), the Conversion Pair (though as great as the Glitch Field can be, I don't think it has the greatest means of generation...), and the Pledge Combos (be sure to have the second pokemon be the one holding the Rock if you aren't running Pledgemaster Silvally). Tailwind, however, is not boosted- it's considered to be a Psuedo-Weather effect rather than a a Psudo-Field one like the Rooms are, so I wouldn't reccomend giving an Amplifield Rock to a support crobat... Anyway, welcome to this dimensionally-twisted realm we call the Reborn Evolved Forums! Be sure to read up on the rules, feel free to check out all that we have to offer, and above all else, enjoy your stay~!
  13. This should be pretty helpful, I think. Apparently, Orphan #2 has been moved to be in Akuwa Town proper, but it's otherwise still up to date (to my knowledge).
  14. ...That's "Non-Player Character". Literally any trainer hanging out in the Darchlight Woods will work.
  15. Personally, I'd say mine's either the Beheeyem Crest or the Dusknoir Crest... even if they're both kinda frustrating to get. Whoops? It does not, at least as of V12. More are planned on being added for a few Versions, however, so it'll probably be worthwhile to stay patient.
  16. Here's the best hint I can give: it isn't accessed from the floor it's on. You need to (literally) get the drop on it.
  17. That's... at the end of an optional puzzle that's difficult to give precise instructions for because Valor Mountain Just Ain't Simpletm. The best advice I can give is to explore the dungeon as thoroughly as possible. As for the others, I'd recommend checking out Rejuvenation's Item Guide. In the spoiler labeled "Items by Typing", there's a section dedicated exclusively to detailing Zygarde Cell locations. As tedious as it is, go through the entire list until you have all 100. I'd recommend being thorough about it- I missed a couple I really shouldn't have myself.
  18. Do you remember what pokemon were lost to the glitch? There's no way to change the event after the fact (as far as I'm aware, especially given how buggy it is), but somewhat might be willing to help gen the ones that were lost back into your game.
  19. While this is a known bug, you're actually the only other person I've seen have to deal with the team overwrite effect so far. Unfortunately, that rare instance has no direct fix action; the only way to fix it is to go through the backup saves until you reach the one that was right before Will (which of course means that you'll have to do the whole gauntlet again). The backup files are found in the computer's Saved Games folder. In order to use them, you need to rename the backup you want to use "game.rxdata" and either rename the latest save or delete it outright. The system kinda freaks out a bit if there are two files with the same name, after all...
  20. So, I started playingAC:NL yesterday... and somehow managed to catch over half of the bugs already. I know Summer's when those critters thrive and all, but isn't that just a little ridiculous? 😅

    1. Oris

      Oris

not realllyyyyyy you see, what really is hard is to find about 10% of the bugs every season... the rest (ostly in summer as well) is pretty eassy! but good job either way ♥

  21. The standard Move Relearner is found in the south-easternmost house of Sheridan Village, so she's pretty early on. A sidequest will also get one that can teach pokemon EMs as well to join her, though that's all the out toward the tail end of the Terajuma story arc.
  22. The Appophyll Pancakes used to be on Route 3, but it got moved in recent versions for a combination of balance reasons (and apparently to make room for the Red Nectar?). It's currently located in Terajuma, and requires beating the 6th Gym to access.
  23. Rockruff's found in the Goldenwood Cave, rather than the Amethyst one. Unfortunately, the Goldenwood Cave is unavailable between the attack on the forest until around the 4th Gym, so that'll be a bit annoying if you're still that early in the game.
  24. Given that there doesn't seem to be any Relationship Points involved (understandable, Aelita did warn everyone that something might go sour like this if you're not careful), it almost certainly has an impact on Karma. This isn't visible in the guide, however, because the guide's specifically for Relationship Points. Earning Karma's just as thoroughly entrenched in the story, and a complex enough topic to warrant its own guide when that time comes.
  25. The Vaccines (as they were called) have been removed from the game since V10, due to the sheer number of bugs they caused, and continued to cause despite repeated attempts to fix them. Sorry.
