  1. I totally forgot to post here. Apologies for that! As such, I'm going to vote to [Eliminate] Sosobean, as well.
  2. So for me, my team would consist of mainly Pokemon I really enjoy using. My class would just be a general Pokemon trainer. I am a believer in using Pokemon that you really enjoy using rather than just using those considered the best. Having said that, here's who my team would be:
  3. First off, you have excellent preferences for starters. Here is who I find are the best starters for each type: Also, here are some of my favorite Pokemon to use in the main game of different (but not necessarily all) types: Finally, no matter what you do, get a Growlithe. You can breed an egg, and trade it away in order to get a Mystery Egg. Almost all of the mons you can get in the egg are excellent, so I would definitely consider that.
  4. So I just finished this iteration of Reawakened. Overall, I had a lot of fun. However, there are some things I saw that may need improvement: 1) Fix some music choices. In particular... 2) I know others will disagree with me on this, but I don't like the extreme difficulty curve other gym leaders throw at you (competitive Crobat, anyone?). 3) Make sure to fix some collision detection. The biggest one is in the second village, where you walk up the stairs to the Keta hut. You can walk on the railings. This doesn't make it a bad game whatsoever, though, and honestly, I had a lot of fun! I also appreciated how hard the evil leader's teams were, as they should feel like intense boss fights (especially when you consider that they wouldn't play by conventional rules). Also, that last fight was a blast! Who did you all have for your final teams (for this version)? Here's who I've got:
  5. So I put down none of them, because you forgot to include the best character in the game: Zetta.
  6. That's correct. I'm completely stuck in that position, as the leader keeps trying to run into the wall.
  7. So after the cutscene with Lily, she walks into a tree and freezes the game. Hopefully this is fixed soon, because so far, this game has been pretty fun!
  8. I'm an extremely casual player. As such, I mainly like catching what I think looks strong. However, whenever I do create a team, I generally make sure to have a water/fire/grass core. My Reborn team is strange in that regard, as it doesn't have a fire type. Still, it helps me create a more balanced team. Also, if Mudkip is available, I almost always go for that. Not only is it my favorite ever, but it's extremely easy to build a team around.
  9. Just so you know, I am only writing this down as a stress reliever. I wanted to put my thoughts somewhere, and thought this would be the best place to do so. Please keep that in mind when reading this. Keep in mind that the material may be a bit sensitive to some (given how new this is at the time of this), so feel free to ignore this if you don't want to bother.
  10. That's an easy one for me: Swampert. Great typing, great bulk, and hits hard.
  11. He's in Rejuvenation, so I don't think that's possible.
  12. Damn, unlucky me (as in I wish I knew that the mystery egg was a thing when I first started this game). Thanks for helping me out!
  13. In my first play through, I missed the chance to get the mystery egg. I'm just curious: what would I have got? If anyone who has RPG Maker could help me out, that would appreciated. Thanks! Game.rxdata
  14. I guess the most I'll say of Kirby games as of late is that their lore is the driving force behind the stories. I'll recommend this before playing Star Allies (and I'm only making a second post because I remembered some other games to play): The Dark Matter Trilogy: this trilogy consists of Dreamland 2, Dreamland 3, and Kirby 64. Only do this if you're dedicated to a full completion run. Return to Dreamland: this one is fun no matter what, and if you talk to Magolor (the alien you meet), he provides lore on characters from other games (like Super Star/Super Star Ultra) Also, obviously still recommend Triple Deluxe and Robobot. They're basically the same game, but one has a fairy tale theme and the other has a mechanical theme.
  15. The two stories with decent lore for the series are Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot. However, I would also recommend Super Star Ultra, as the gameplay is solid. While the story isn't as great (as there are multiple), the game also establishes some lore that is brought back later in the series.
  16. I assume the sign up period has expired? I ask because when I tried to open the discord, I got this:
  17. While I tend to enjoy the unpopular Pokemon more, there is one in particular I want to bring to mention. The one, the only, legend himself... ...Luvdisc. That's right, I'm probably the only Luvdisc fan in existence. Luvdisc is useless in every aspect of the word. It's stats suck, it's ability improves the one stat that didn't need improvement, and it's moves suck. Hell, it's design looks like a butt. Despite all of this, that's exactly why I love it; because it's so moronic, I can't help but get a giggle. Luvdisc to me is like the Dan Hibiki of Pokemon. You should never use it, but if you manage to beat someone with it, you will truly crush their spirits. Luvdisc was actually the centerpiece of my greatest OU achievement: taking out a Tapu Bulu with Luvdisc (an itemless Luvdisc, mind you).
  18. I mean, I can make you something if you really want. Tell me what you're looking for in a PM, and I'll see what I can throw together
  19. This is just a thread to talk about the teams you made in game. They can be for either in game or competitive, but in general, this is just a thread to reminisce about some of the fond teams you created over the years (including those team MVPs). While I understand that games such as Fire Red and Heart Gold are technically from generation three and four respectively, they are so similar to my Red and Gold teams that I decided to place them in the same slot. Here are the teams I made in the main series: Generation 1 (Fire Red) Generation 2 (Heart Gold) Generation 3 (Emerald) Generation 4 (Platinum) Generation 5 (White and White 2) Generation 7 (Ultra Moon)
