  1. During this time of year, it's always fun to listen to some classic Holiday tunes. However, there's one tune I don't see talked about as much...

  2. Hello again, everyone! After a tremulous first few months of development, we've been extremely thrilled at all the incredible feedback we've been receiving. We at Pokemon Empire wanted to thank you for all of your amazing support. With such an incredible following we've received, we wanted to give to each of you a Christmas present as a thank you. As such...
  3. When I play Pokemon, I like playing as if I'm running a sports team. In other words, if you don't play well, you get benched. The first member to get benched was Mariah Carey the Exploud. She was instrumental in my win against Julia, as Soundproof blocked Sonicboom. However, she eventually fell behind in the stats department. I ended up replacing her with a Scrafty named UGG LIFE. However, UGG LIFE was replaced next. Mine came with Ice Punch, and I didn't know at the time that I could get Dragon Dance. As such, I replaced it with Belle, my Florges. She did relatively well, but eventually, I discovered (and E17 spoilers below)... I still hold each teammate near and dear to me, as each were instrumental to the team's success in their own right.
  4. Yeah, Titania can be a pain. I'd say search in the desert a bit more. There are wild Excadrill that can help turn the tide of the battle.
  5. I, too, am sad that Gallade has been nerfed so much. The reason I believe he belongs at F (for E17) is because of when you are able to access him. Unlike the Gallade before E17, it's now only available during the E16 content. This means it can participate in three important battles: Adrienn (where it gets blown away), Titania (where, despite the technical type advantage, it still gets blown away by her hard hitting and fast physical attackers with seeds to get in at least one free turn), and Amaria (where the field blows it away). It doesn't have many opportunities in this episode to take advantage of it's pros, especially considering the fact that we don't really fight many dark type Pokemon (meaning Justified doesn't have as much time to shine). Honestly, as soon as we get Galladite, it's definitely going to jump up in the rankings. Until then, however, it comes too late, with many fighting types outclassing it in game (Toxicroak, Lucario, Scrafty), and especially considering you could get Gardevoir instead. Still, those are fair points. I also really enjoyed your Wigglytuff reasonings. Where would you personally rank it? I'll definitely add it to the list!
  6. Kind of sad my boy Swampert isn't the most popular starter on this last. Still, second most popular starter isn't bad, and especially when (at least at the time of this comment), he's only behind Charizard by one.
  7. The newest poll is here! http://www.strawpoll.me/14656216
  8. The rankings have been updated once more! I also added a controversial ranking:
  9. Just uploaded the newest episode of "Choose my Team Remastered", and I have never participated in a more infuriating battle than this one...

  10. Chapter 40: Speechless After our defeat of DJ Arclight, we quickly moved onward to the next room. Fortunately, we ran into Ame. With her skill level as a champion, she could easily... ...get blown away by a Pokemon with a massive type disadvantage... Needless to say, poor Ame seemed to lose her head in this battle, both figuratively and very literally. Despite the loss, we refused to be deterred. We continued onward, where we ran into yet another unwelcome sight. Apparently, Lin had ordered all PULSE machines to be moved. This caused the PULSE Magnezone to be unstable. While trying to adjust the coding, ZEL certainly wasn't happy to see us, especially after we told him that we came specifically to stop him. Indeed, it was time for... for... ...just look... With ZEL's defeat, the Magnezone couldn't be stabilized. Indeed, this caused a massive explosion that destroyed both the PULSE and Magnezone itself. However, it did one more thing that is surely going to greatly influence the story... ...killed the Eve and Lumi personalities of ZEL. With the two gone, Zero decided to run as far away as possible. With him defeated, we continued onward to the next room, where we noticed a lone pannel. We quickly pressed it, only to discover our friends! Unfortunately for our friends, they had been tortured by Team Meteor while we were fighting. Arclight in particular had even lost an eye! This only made us more determined to stop Team Meteor. As such, next time, we'll not only be looking to evolve MagnetMode (Magneton), but also defeat Adrienn for our next badge! Which six Pokemon should we use for the fight? Who should we catch? What should their names be? It's up to you! Current Team
  11. I FINALLY managed to update the Reborn Randomizer! You can find the next part here:

  12. Chapter 39: Saw VIII - The Reborn Chronicles Before it was time to invade the Meteor base, Temere decided once more to change his outfit. Let's say hello to Temere's newest look... With DJ Arclight and Victoria at our side, we were confident that this mission was going to be a smooth success. However, just as we entered the base, our suspicions were raised... ...wait, did you say finally? Were you waiting for us the whole time? Well, at least Adrienn and Ame definitely should be able to- Oh god, it's a trap, isn't it? To make matters worse, as we were traveling through the base, we began to be more and more separated. We continued on as DJ Arclight monitored our progress, until... Regardless, despite our loss, we continued onward, until Arclight sent us a horrible message... Still, we were the protagonist! There was no way we could be caught so easil- DAMN IT! Well, at least we know Victoria isn't stupid enough to walk into a wide open cage, especially knowing that we're in a similar- DAMN IT VICTORIA, WHY DID YOU PULL A TEMERE?! In all seriousness, this is when Lin finally made her dramatic entrance. Lin, taking notes straight from Jigsaw, informed us that this whole thing was a trap set up so we could destroy each other. In order to proceed, one trainer would have to defeat the other in a battle. Indeed, it was time for us to prove our worth! Luckily, we knew that Victoria would be able to handle any punishment coming her... ...WELP. Luckily, we would learn from our mistakes. There would be no way we would fall for that trick again. DAMNIT TEMERE! Before suffering his penalty, Arclight gave us some words of encouragement... With Arclight defeated, we'll be continuing to chase Lin in the next part! Who should we catch? What should their names be? It's up to you! Current Team
  13. Time for some controversial picks! Fire: Darmanitan Water: Swampert Grass: Leavanny Normal: Bewear Dark: Krookodile Electric: Magnezone Flying: POWERFUL Staraptor Bug: Pinsir Steel: Excadrill Psychic: Wobbuffet Fighting: Toxicroak Ground: Golem (Kantonian) Rock: Sudowoodo Ghost: Mimikyu Poison: Muk (Alolan) Ice: Alolan Sandslash Dragon: Flygon Fairy: Florges
  14. If you're looking for a bulky fighting type replacement, I would say your best bet is Conkeldurr. However, if you're looking for something a bit more interesting, then Toxicroak can put in a surprising amount of work.
  15. If you don't have the stickers, the only other option is to go to the ice cave and look for an Alolan Sandslash. They are rare encounters.
  16. The tier list has been updated once more! I decided to exclude the Meowstic ranking, as there is already a Meowstic ranking in B tier. However, I decided to add two of my own to the list...
  17. I've added the suggestions to the list! I'd also like to give my condolences to poor Gallade, who fell all the way down to F tier due to the changes. However, I've taken the liberty to add on more Pokemon...
  18. I've been playing E17 in order to explore some of it's changes, and man, it was so much fun! Here was the team I used to win: Despite how much I love my new team, I'm always up to hearing improvements. As such, what can I do to improve this team? Any feedback is appreciated!
  19. THE LIST IS FINALLY UP TO DATE! I've also taken the liberty to update this list with two more of my own entries (E17 SPOILERS BELOW)...
  20. With E17 out, I decided to start over and create a new team with some Alolan Pokemon. I just beat Adrienn with this team. Along the way, I've enjoyed each of the changes, and have had a blast traveling through Reborn once more. Here's who I've been using on my team:

It's on to some E17 content next! Let's see how much has changed. I've been playing a little differently than usual, so let's see if my choices pay off...

    1. Yagami

      Yagami

How do you finish that much content of the game that quickly?

I have just defeated Shelly and already taking some time exploring.

    2. HellBoyOnEarth

      HellBoyOnEarth

Asked me the same... I started my E17 run right before Aya and I am now in the 7th street... So much to do till I can see E17 new story...

@Yagami to answer your question, Alolan Sandslash takes lives. I also haven't been exploring as much.

  21. I see your team lacks the all mighty Water type. If you're going for a more cutesy theme, I have three recommendations. The first two are either Azumarill or Primarina, depending on if you want a physical or special attacker. Then again, that's also if you want to repeat types. My real third suggestion is what @Zargerth suggested, and pick up a Mantine.
  22. Poll 6, coming in hot! http://www.strawpoll.me/14591311
